Taking into consideration channel shape differences along the channel, a roughness updating technique was developed using the Kalman filter method to update Manning's roughness coefficient at each time step of the calculation processes. Channel shapes were simplified as rectangles, triangles, and parabolas, and the relationships between hydraulic radius and water depth were developed for plain rivers. Based on the relationship between the Froude number and the inertia terms of the momentum equation in the Saint-Venant equations, the relationship between Manning's roughness coefficient and water depth was obtained. Using the channel of the Huaihe River from Wangjiaba to Lutaizi stations as a case, to test the performance and rationality of the present flood routing model, the original hydraulic model was compared with the developed model. Results show that the stage hydrographs calculated by the developed flood routing model with the updated Manning's roughness coefficient have a good agreement with the observed stage hydrographs. This model performs better than the original hydraulic model.展开更多
The ultimate need to account for the partial amount of energy deposited in target tissue/organ resulting from internal inhalation,ingestion,and injection intakes of radionuclides,defined by the Medical Internal Radiat...The ultimate need to account for the partial amount of energy deposited in target tissue/organ resulting from internal inhalation,ingestion,and injection intakes of radionuclides,defined by the Medical Internal Radiation Dosimetry committee as the specific absorbed fraction(SAF),has become obvious.In this study,we assessed the SAF values for self-and cross-absorption,which were calculated for a uniform distribution of monoenergetic photon and electron emitters with energies ranging from 15 keV to 3 MeV.The voxelized human phantom‘‘High-Definition Reference Korean-man’’(HDRK-man),which was implemented using the Monte Carlo simulation code GEANT4(version 10.1),was used for several combinations of target–source organs.The results were compared to those of the International Commission on Radiological Protection Reference(ICRP133)and Zubal phantoms.It was found that the SAF values of the three models have a similar trend.However,the SAF values for the HDRK-man phantom were higher than those of the other two models,with a relatively good agreement with those for the ICRP133 phantom(differences of 13.9±2.8 and 12.1±3.2 for photon and electron emitters,respectively).To analyze the differences in SAF values,we calculated the chord length distributions(CLDs)for selected target–source combinations.The parameters of organ mass(or volume)and CLDs,in addition to the adopted computational procedures,mainly cause such discrepancies.For realistic radionuclide emission spectra,an overall overestimation was observed when computing the S values for three radiopharmaceuticals studied(I-131,In-111,and Lu-177)and for liver–spleen intra-and inter-organ absorption when compared with published data.The new arrangement of S and SAF values is expected to add value for multidisciplinary research and clinical communities.展开更多
目的探讨在高职高专院校护理专业Sim Man 3G模拟人虚拟仿真实践中思维导图的应用。方法选取某高职高专院校2017级护理专业学生120名作为受试对象,均需接受Sim Man 3G模拟人护理虚拟仿真实践训练。按照简单、随机化方式将所有受试对象分...目的探讨在高职高专院校护理专业Sim Man 3G模拟人虚拟仿真实践中思维导图的应用。方法选取某高职高专院校2017级护理专业学生120名作为受试对象,均需接受Sim Man 3G模拟人护理虚拟仿真实践训练。按照简单、随机化方式将所有受试对象分为研究组与常规组两组,每组各60名。常规组给予常规教学模式,研究组给予常规教学+思维导图教学模式。对比教学后两组综合成绩,优秀率,教学前后学生自主学习能力变化,学生对仿真实践训练教学模式的评价。结果研究组理论应用与答辩、实践能力测评、综合成绩均明显高于常规组(P<0.05),且前者优秀率为85.00%,明显高于后者的66.67%(P<0.05);两组教学后自我管理能力、信息能力、学习合作能力评分均无统计学差异(P>0.05),教学后均显著升高(P<0.05),且教学后研究组评分均高于常规组(P<0.05);研究组学生对仿真实践训练教学模式关于提高学习兴趣、巩固理论知识、提升护理技能、增强临床思维能力、改善对护理服务认识的认同率分别为96.67%、98.33%、93.33%、90.00%、91.67%,均高于常规组的83.33%、85.00%、78.33%、75.00%、78.33%(P<0.05)。结论在高职高专院校护理专业Sim Man 3G模拟人虚拟仿真实践中应用思维导图不仅可提升其综合成绩及优秀率,还可改善学生的自主学习能力和关于对教学模式的认同率。展开更多

The internal annual dose rate of samples are got by neutron activation analysis and the environmental annual dose rate by highly sensitive TL dosimeters to be embedded in cave deposits in the site. The results of ESR dating are corresponded with the dating results obtained by U-series, FT, TL and paleomagnetic stratigraphical methods on the 3rd, 4th, 7th and 10th layers. Calculation of using different models, the close-equilibrium model, the linear uranium accumulation model and radon loss-linear uranium accumulation model, for travertine, deer teeth and rhinoceros tooth, we obtained the age of the First Peking- Man in the nth layer is 578 ka and gave ages of other layers, from the 1st to the 13th layer in Peking- Man site.展开更多

The Buddhist philosophy of karmic causality and dependent origination (pratitya-samutpada) convey the notion of interdependence of humans and nature. Today, especially in the United States, there are many movements, such as the Buddhist Peace Fellowship, to promote eco-living and sustainable communities, which call for humans to be mindful of the environment and make conscientious choices for the benefit of all sentient beings and non-sentient entities. Just as humans have been the cause of the gradual deterioration of Nature, we can also be the solution towards an coo-conscious living, which not only fosters a healthy environment, but also enables us to build good merit. The core Buddhist teaching, which must be embraced by all eco-minded practitioners is the notion of interdependence, which has been expounded by notable Japanese Buddhist figures in the eighth century, such as Kukai (774-835) of the Shingon School and Dogen (1200-1253) of the Soto Zen sect, who both viewed that non-living life forms--trees, plants, and the earth--could also achieve enlightenment. Their view is based on the ontological notions of Buddha-nature (tathagata-garbha) and Indra's Jewel Net, which is a powerful image found in Huayen's (Jpn. Kegon) Avatamsaka Sutra. It affords a depiction of the centrality of the mind, the interface of the body and mind in behavioural manifestations. It furthermore acknowledges that nothing occurs in a vacuum but in the context of the fullness of the mind. The visible manifestations of human behaviour are contended to be informed by the noiselessness invisible aspects of the mind. The same noiseless mind that informs the behavioural visibility that becomes somewhat active and busier in its conspicuousness. The dual existence of things and events in a revolutionary context that transcends to other behavioural undertones is discoursed. In the context application of the revolutionary mapping, the mind is presented as a culprit revolutionarist that wages revolutions without fear of external threats through arrests, danger, pain, terror, dread, apprehension, detentions, and any other similar means including death. The article settles that the mind is the determinant factor of human behaviours and it therefore defines the state of the State in any revolutionary circumstance. It denotes a functional separatism of the mind from the brain which is an organ of the body thereby equally accepting that the brain functionalises the mind. The equal essential role of the mind in post revolution construction to establish and promote an acceptable system of government that responds to socio-economic factors is detailed herein the manuscript.
