During the pandemic, technological innovation provided a platform with a range of uses, including in the healthcare industry. Technology is currently being used in vaccination drives run by many governments across the world to help spread vaccines quickly and efficiently. The technology makes healthcare personnel more effective at their professions and greatly raises the standard of service in the industry. The researchers undertook this study to create a suitable and long-lasting immunization database with a mapping method to give a better perspective of the immunization status. To gather essential information for this study, the researchers spoke with the local health officer in the targeted area. The obtained data then served as the basis for the system’s capabilities and features, becoming the target problems addressed by the developers. The investigation found that the majority of procedures and interactions are carried out manually and recorded on an unprotected, antiquated Excel spreadsheet. The researchers’ technology also shows to be a superior way to deal with the problems and difficulties while making their health-related transactions and operations quicker, safer, and much more effective. 展开更多

Since lenders and employers use credit scores to make loa... Average credit scores for people in the United States (US) differ from state to state. Some states have high, and some states have low average credit scores. Since lenders and employers use credit scores to make loan and employment decisions, people living in states where average credit scores are high should experience the benefits of living where credit scores tend to allow more favorable loan and employment decisions. Although credit scores are the direct result of credit histories, credit histories may be impacted by demographic factors. If the demographic factors that impact credit histories are identified, ways to improve credit scores are likely to be discovered and available to people and state government policymakers. This study looks for demographic factors to indirectly explain the average credit scores for people living in each state of the US. The methodology includes statistical analyses and geographic information systems (GIS) mapping. Statistical analyses provide evidence to suggest that state average credit scores are explained by the demographic factors of education, family, income, and health. GIS mapping reveals clusters of states with similar demographics and credit scores. 展开更多

With the rapid development of digital and intelligent information systems, display of radar situation interface has become an important challenge in the field of human-computer interaction. We propose a method for the optimization of radar situation interface from error-cognition through the mapping of information characteristics. A mapping method of matrix description is adopted to analyze the association properties between error-cognition sets and design information sets. Based on the mapping relationship between the domain of error-cognition and the domain of design information, a cross-correlational analysis is carried out between error-cognition and design information.We obtain the relationship matrix between the error-cognition of correlation between design information and the degree of importance among design information. Taking the task interface of a warfare navigation display as an example, error factors and the features of design information are extracted. Based on the results, we also propose an optimization design scheme for the radar situation interface. 展开更多

近40 a来,中国畜禽养殖信息技术研究取得了诸多阶段性成果,定量分析该领域的研究脉络、现状、热点与趋势,可为畜禽养殖信息技术的发展方向、学科布局和未来规划等提供有益借鉴。以中国知网1980年1月—2022年2月收录的畜禽养殖信息技术... 近40 a来,中国畜禽养殖信息技术研究取得了诸多阶段性成果,定量分析该领域的研究脉络、现状、热点与趋势,可为畜禽养殖信息技术的发展方向、学科布局和未来规划等提供有益借鉴。以中国知网1980年1月—2022年2月收录的畜禽养殖信息技术领域科研文献为数据源,构建多条件组合专业检索式,获取有效文献1908篇,建立文献数据库,采用文献计量学方法和CiteSpace 5.8.R3进行定量分析。结果表明:文献分布时间和演化趋势分析显示中国畜禽养殖信息化研究大致经历了1980—2004年、2005—2013年以及2014年至今3个发展阶段。该领域发文最多的机构是中国农业大学信息与电气工程学院,大部分机构和研究者还有很大的交流合作空间。热点分析表明出现频次最多的3个关键词为物联网、畜牧业、信息化,关键词聚类揭示畜禽养殖信息化研究主要围绕信息技术、饲养标准、畜牧生产等16个主题6大方向开展。未来的研究中还要加强作者和各单位之间的合作。 展开更多

Map is one of the communication means created by human being.Cartographers have been making efforts on the comparison of maps to natural languages so as to establish a"cartographic language"or"map language".One of such efforts is to adopt the Shannon’s Information Theory originated in digital communication into cartography so as to establish an entropy-based cartographic communication theory.However,success has been very limited although research work had started as early as the mid-1960 s.It is then found that the bottleneck problem was the lack of appropriate measures for the spatial(configurational)information of(graphic and image)maps,as the classic Shannon entropy is only capable of characterizing statistical information but fails to capture the configurational information of(graphic and image)maps.Fortunately,after over 40-year development,some bottleneck problems have been solved.More precisely,generalized Shannon entropies for metric and thematic information of(graphic)maps have been developed and the first feasible solution for computing the Boltzmann entropy of image maps has been invented,which is capable of measuring the spatial information of not only numerical images but also categorical maps.With such progress,it is now feasible to build the"Information Theory of Cartography".In this paper,a framework for such a theory is proposed and some key issues are identified.For these issues,some have already been tackled while others still need efforts.As a result,a research agenda is set for future action.After all these issues are tackled,the theory will become matured so as to become a theoretic basis of cartography.It is expected that the Information Theory of Cartography will play an increasingly important role in the discipline of cartography because more and more researchers have advocated that information is more fundamental than matter and energy. 展开更多

Geomorphological mapping plays a key role in landscape representation: it is the starting point for many applications and for the realization of thematic maps, such as hazard and risk maps, geoheritage and geotourism ... Geomorphological mapping plays a key role in landscape representation: it is the starting point for many applications and for the realization of thematic maps, such as hazard and risk maps, geoheritage and geotourism maps. Traditional geomorphological maps are useful for scientific purposes but they need to be simplified for different aims as management and education. In tourism valorization, mapping of geomorphological resources(i.e., geosites, and geomorphosites), and of geomorphic evidences of past hazardous geomorphological events, is important for increasing knowledge about landscape evolution and active processes, potentially involving geomorphosites and hiking trails. Active geomorphosites, as those widespread in mountain regions, testify the high dynamicity of geomorphic processes and their link with climatic conditions. In the present paper, we propose a method to produce and to update cartographic supports(Geomorphological Boxes)realized starting from a traditional geomorphological survey and mapping. The Geomorphological Boxes are geomorphological representation of single, composed or complex landforms drawn on satellite images, using the official Italian geomorphological legend(ISPRA symbols). Such cartographic representation is also addressed to the analysis(identification, evaluation and selection) of Potential Geomorphosites and Geotrails. The method has been tested in the upper portion of the Loana Valley(Western Italian Alps), located within the borders of the Sesia Val Grande Geopark, recognized by UNESCO in 2013. The area has a good potential for geotourism and for educational purposes. We identified 15 Potential Geomorphosites located along 2 Geotrails; they were ranked according to specific attributes also in relation with a Reference Geomorphosite located in the Loana hydrographic basin and inserted in official national and regional databases of geosites(ISPRA; Regione Piemonte). Finally, the ranking of Potential Geomorphosites allowed to select the most valuable ones for valorization or geoconservation purposes. In thisframework, examples of Geomorphological Boxes are proposed as supports to geo-risk education practices. 展开更多

Since the relationships of knowledge are implicit in the collected user activities,the method calculates the similarity according to the collected user activities.Three concepts,including knowledge,action and user,are explained first. Based on this,the similarity calculation method is illustrated in detail. The dependencies of actions and relations of the user are considered in the calculation method. Further,the approach of applying the constructed knowledge map to alleviate information overload is proposed. At last,the proposed method is validated by a knowledge search and result comparison experiment. 展开更多
