As essential electrochromic(EC) materials are related to energy savings in fenestration technology,tungsten oxide(WO3) films have been intensively studied recently.In order to achieve better understanding of the mechanism of EC properties,and thus facilitate optimization of device performance,clarification of the correlation between cation storage and transfer properties and the coloration performance is needed.In this study,transparent polycrystalline and amorphous WO3 thin films were deposited on SnO2:F-coated glass substrates by the pulsed laser deposition technique.Investigation into optical transmittance in a wavelength range of 400-800 nm measured at a current density of 130 μA·cm-2 with the applied potential ranging from 3.2 to 2.2 V indicates that polycrystalline films have a larger optical modulation of ~ 30% at 600 nm and a larger coloration switch time of 95 s in the whole wavelength range compared with amorphous films(~ 24% and 50 s).Meanwhile,under the same conditions,polycrystalline films show a larger lithium storage capacity corresponding to a Li/W ratio of 0.5,a smaller lithium diffusion coefficient(2×10-12cm2·s-1 for Li/W=0.24) compared with the amorphous ones,which have a Li/W ratio of 0.29 and a coefficient of ~2.5×10-11cm2·s-1 as Li/W=0.24.These results demonstrate that the large optical modulation relates to the large lithium storage capacity,and the fast coloration transition is associated with fast lithium diffusion. 展开更多

Silver nanoclusters(NCs) embedded in soda-lime glass was synthesized by the electric fieldassisted diffusion(EFAD) and successive annealing. The samples were characterized by UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy, photoluminescence spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS), and lifetime measurements. The experimental results show that the growth of silver clusters is favored by the annealing temperature and dwell time. The as-diffused and annealed glass samples show photoluminescence around 550 nm under UV excitation, which can be associated with the presence of L-center and Ag3~+ cluster. And the increasing of the annealing temperature and dwell time results in an appearance of the SPR peak and the decreasing of the luminescence intensities because the Ag3~+ clusters grow up into the Ag nanoparticles. 展开更多

The transient mass transter processes in the natural drying of wood particle materials were experimental;y studied A new theory tio determme the mass transfer parameters in the Materials was developed in terms of gradient transformation method(GTM).By making use of GTM.Thewater vapour diffusion coefficient and the surtaee emission coefficent of wood chip were expermentally determined both in air phase and in solid phase.It Was found that the internal resistance to water vapour diffusion in the air phase of wood partiele aggregates is around ten to the third power as large as that in common air The drag coefficient was given to quantify the effect The phenomenon of undersurface diffusion in wood partiele bed was quantitatively modelled.The dimensionless Fourier snumber and the Biot's number for mass transfer were theoretically derived.The study showed that Biot's number for the problem investigated was the ratio of the characteristie length of wood partiele bed to the penetrating depth of the undersurface.An analytical solution of the nonlinear goveming equation for water transport process in the aggregates of wood chip was obtained by introducing the variable coefficients measured in the study into the governing equation.The comparison between the analytical solution and the observed moisture content of wood chip showed that the deviation was less than ±7%.The thermophysieal properties of wood particle materials are little known at present.The knowledge provided in the paper will be and in the handling.researeh or engineering application of wood chip.wood shavingsete. 展开更多

Dynamic thermal performance and energy-saving potential analysis of a modular pipe-embedded building envelope integrated with thermal diffusive materials 被引量:1

In the context of racing to carbon neutrality,the pipe-embedded building system makes the opaque envelopes gradually regarded as the multi-functional element,which also provides an opportunity for thermal insulation solutions to transform from high to zero-carbon attributes.Based on the re-examination of the heat transfer process of conventional pipe-embedded radiant(CPR)walls,the modular pipe-embedded radiant(MPR)wall integrated with thermal diffusive materials is proposed to enhance the heat transfer capacity of CPR walls in the direction parallel to the wall surface,thereby forming a more stable and continuous invisible thermal barrier layer inside the opaque envelopes.A comprehensive thermal and energy-saving analysis study regarding the influence mechanism of several key factors of MPR walls,e.g.,the inclination angle of the filler cavity(θ-value),geometry size of the filler cavity(a:b-value)and thermal conductivity of the filler(λf-value),is conducted based on a validated numerical model.Results show that the dynamic thermal behaviors of MPR walls can be significantly improved due to that the radial thermal resistance in the filler cavity of MPR walls can be reduced by 50%,while the maximum extra exterior surface heat loss caused by the optimization measures is only 2.1%.Besides,a better technical effect can be achieved by setting the major axis of the filler cavity towards the room side,where the interior surface heat load/total injected heat first decreases/increases and then increases/decreases with the increase of theθ-value.In particular,the MPR wall withθL=60°can obtain the best performance when other conditions remain the same.Moreover,the performance indicators of MPR walls can be further improved with the increase of the cavity size(a:b-value),while showing a trend of rapid improvement in theλf-value range of 2–5λC and slow improvement increase in theλf-value range of 5–12λC.In addition,the improvement effect brought by optimizing theθ-value is more obvious as the a:b-value orλf-value increases. 展开更多
