The material properties of the plates obey a sigmoid distribution rule along the thickness direction. Based on the D'Alembert's principle, a nonlinear equation of motion is derived for the moving S-FGM plates, where the von K^rm^n nonlinear plate theory is adopted. Utilizing the Galerkin method, the equation of motion is discretized and solved via the method of harmonic bal- ance. The approximate analytical solutions are validated through the adaptive step-size fourth-order Runge-Kutta method. Besides, the stability of the steady-state solutions is examined. The results reveal that the mode interaction behavior can happen between the first two modes of the moving S-FGM plates, leading to a complex nonlinear frequency response. It is further found that the power-law index, the longitudinal speed, the exci- tation amplitude, and the in-plane pretension force can significantly affect the nonlinear frequency-response characteristics of longitudinally traveling S-FGM plates.展开更多

The properties of the FGM media are varied through the thickness based on a simple power law. The governing equations are numerically solved by a shooting method. The effects of the in-plane elastic restraints, material property gradient, and temperature variation on the responses of thermal buckling and post-buckling are examined in detail.展开更多

Firstly, the admittance feature representations of metal ribbed plates attributes are obtained and the relationship between the admittance features and the impact sound features are established via correlation analysis method. Then, materialattributesrelated impact sound features are obtained indirectly. Finally, the performances of different sound features for the material recognition of ribbedmetal plates are verified through the Support Vector Machine classifier. The results indicate that the obtained four sets of features can effectively identify the materials of the metal ribbed plates, while the accuracy of a single feature depends on the separable degree of the corresponding material attribute. And the features extracted based on admittance functions have higher average accuracy than that of timbre features. Therefore, the proposed sound feature extraction method based on admittance features is valid, and the extracted sound features can effectively reflect the physical attributes.展开更多

This composite microcapsule structure had low infrared OR) emissivity and maintained a constant temperature, and could be used in IR stealth applications. The eiectroless copper layer formation and its micro-appearance, and the effect of the copper layer on the IR emissivity and thermal properties of the composite microcapsules were investigated. The IR emissivity of the composite microcapsules at wavelengths of 1-14 μm gradually decreased with increasing copper mass on the surface. After formation of an integrated copper layer, the rate of IR emissivity decrease was lower. This is because the copper coating improves the surface conductivity of the UFP; a high conductivity results in high reflectivity, which leads to a decrease in IR emissivity. The lowest IR emissivity achieved was 0.68. The phase-change enthalpy of the composite microcapsules decreased with increasing amount of copper coated on the surface because of the high density of copper. When the mass increase of the UFP after electroless copper plating was about 300%, the composite microcapsules had low IR emissivity (about 0.8) and a high phase-change enthalpy (80J/g).展开更多
