After introducing the complete sources of CCD noise, we study the effects of TDI operation mode on noise, and the relationship between different types of noise and number of the TDI stage. Then we propose a new technique to identify and measure sources of TDI CCD noise employing mathematical statistics theory, where theoretical analysis shows that noise estimated formulation converges well. Finally, we establish a testing platform to carry out experiments, and a standard TDI CCD is calibrated by using the proposed method. The experimental results show that the noise analysis and measurement methods presented in this paper are useful for modeling TDI CCDs.展开更多

Provided the results of a research conducted to investigate the relationships between the empirical vibration attenuation equation of Peak Particle Velocity (PPV) and the Scaled Charge (SC) through testing the bla...Provided the results of a research conducted to investigate the relationships between the empirical vibration attenuation equation of Peak Particle Velocity (PPV) and the Scaled Charge (SC) through testing the blasting-induced vibrations on the spot of Wanshishan tunnel based on 96 vibration recordings. It is found that the maximum charge amount per delay in Wanshishan tunnel excavating is determined by the buildings on the surface and the constructed tunnel nearby. Considering that the repeated blast loading in tunnel blasting caused accumulative effects of damage on buildings, comfortable threshold damage limits of PPV to maintain buildings safety was given. Dynamic Stress Ratio (DSR) was adopted to study the stability of constructed tunnel on the action of blasting induced vibrations. The method to determine specific maximum charge amount per delay in Wanshishan tunnel excavation was given. It is proved that the findings in this study are very effective to control the negative effects of blasting-induced vibrations on buildings on the surface and constructed tunnel nearby.展开更多

Deep space networks,satellite networks,ad hoc networks,and the Internet can be modeled as DTNs(Delay Tolerant Networks).As a fundamental problem,the maximum flow problem is of vital importance for routing and service ...Deep space networks,satellite networks,ad hoc networks,and the Internet can be modeled as DTNs(Delay Tolerant Networks).As a fundamental problem,the maximum flow problem is of vital importance for routing and service scheduling in networks.However,there exists no permanent end-to-end path since the topology and the characteristics of links are time-variant,resulting in a crucial maximum flow problem in DTNs.In this paper,we focus on the single-source-single-sink maximum flow problem of buffer-limited DTNs,followed by a valid algorithm to solve it.First,the BTAG(Buffer-limited Time Aggregated Graph)is constructed for modeling the buffer-limited DTN.Then,on the basis of BTAG,the two-way cache transfer series and the relevant transfer rules are designed,and thus a BTAG-based maximum flow algorithm is proposed to solve the maximum flow problem in buffer-limited DTNs.Finally,a numerical example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.展开更多
Considering the influence of more random atmospheric turbulence, worse pointing errors and highly dynamic link on the transmission performance of mobile multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) free space optics (FSO...Considering the influence of more random atmospheric turbulence, worse pointing errors and highly dynamic link on the transmission performance of mobile multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) free space optics (FSO) communica- tion systems, this paper establishes a channel model for the mobile platform. Based on the combination of Alamouti space-time code and time hopping ultra-wide band (TH-UWB) communications, a novel repetition space-time coding (RSTC) method for mobile 2x2 free-space optical communications with pulse position modulation (PPM) is devel- oped. In particular, two decoding methods of equal gain combining (EGC) maximum likelihood detection (MLD) and correlation matrix detection (CMD) are derived. When a quasi-static fading and weak turbulence channel model are considered, simulation results show that whether the channel state information (CSI) is known or not, the coding sys- tem demonstrates more significant performance of the symbol error rate (SER) than the uncoding. In other words, transmitting diversity can be achieved while conveying the information only through the time delays of the modulated signals transmitted from different antennas. CMD has almost the same effect of signal combining with maximal ratio combining (MRC). However, when the channel correlation increases, SER performance of the coding 2×2 system de- grades significantly.展开更多

A strict mosaic imaging model of ray trace and the velocity vector mapping are built according to the strip mosaic imaging principle and the relationship between imaging target and the camera focal plane. The three-axis attitude is deduced based on the principle of optimal tracking of the maneuvering path. Finally, the geometric scaling simulation is carried out through the time delayed and integration(TDI) charge coupled device(CCD) prototype system, satellite attitude control physical simulation platform and the LED earth target simulator. The experimental results show that the algorithm could realize the matching band seamless splicing imaging of the target very well, confirming the correctness of the algorithm.展开更多

文摘Deep space networks,satellite networks,ad hoc networks,and the Internet can be modeled as DTNs(Delay Tolerant Networks).As a fundamental problem,the maximum flow problem is of vital importance for routing and service scheduling in networks.However,there exists no permanent end-to-end path since the topology and the characteristics of links are time-variant,resulting in a crucial maximum flow problem in DTNs.In this paper,we focus on the single-source-single-sink maximum flow problem of buffer-limited DTNs,followed by a valid algorithm to solve it.First,the BTAG(Buffer-limited Time Aggregated Graph)is constructed for modeling the buffer-limited DTN.Then,on the basis of BTAG,the two-way cache transfer series and the relevant transfer rules are designed,and thus a BTAG-based maximum flow algorithm is proposed to solve the maximum flow problem in buffer-limited DTNs.Finally,a numerical example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
