Internet memes,as multimodal cultural products disseminated through the Internet,usually take the form of short videos or images that express humor or satire.The creation and dissemination of humor in memes are both creative and complex,and the successful perception of meme humor reflects humans’universal thinking capacity.Based on the theoretical framework of conceptual blending,this paper selects a set of COVID-19 publicity posters from the official Weibo account of China Guangzhou Fabu(Guangzhou Internet Information Office),analyses the multi-level structure of Internet memes,and explores the dynamic cognitive process in the interpretation of humorous memes to reveal people’s ability to make simultaneous analogies and integration between elements in different mental spaces. 展开更多

In addition, the classification of linguistic memes and the survival law residing in the memes are also expounded. On June 10,2022,a vicious violence event occurred in Tangshan,which attracted great attention on the Internet,and also caused chain reactions in the society,such as personal safety panic,fierce gender opposition,online reporting boom,and other ripple effect.There was a lot of counter comments against this event on the Internet.According to incomplete statistics,the counterattacks against Tangshan violence generally include five types:accusation,encouragement,empathy,irony,and retrospection.These counterattacks have the same profound impact as the brutal event itself,and the formation and development of this social impact can be explained and analyzed more or less through memetics.From the perspective of memetics,this paper will make a pragmatic analysis of the online counterattack against the Tangshan violence.The language materials are collected from the highly recognized and widely spreading posts and influential comments on social media such as Sina Weibo and Xiaohongshu.The results show that due to the existence of individual differences,different meme hosts have different understandings of the connotation of linguistic memes,and this understanding bias may lead to different meme hosts having completely different subjective attitudes when dealing with the same linguistic memes. 展开更多

Through the review and reflection on the protection of rural culture,this paper thinks that there are many factors affecting the protection of rural culture,which need to be analyzed systematically.This paper takes the cultural meme theory as the basic theory of rural cultural protection and inheritance,and constructs a set of factors affecting the protection of rural culture from two aspects of external environment and group psychology.Based on 335 questionnaires of rural tourism destination residents in Jiangsu Province,this paper deeply analyzes the influence of rural cultural protection and its driving factors,and uses structural equation model to calculate.The empirical results show that the group psychological factors as an intermediate variable,physical environmental factors and social environmental factors significantly affect the group psychological factors,thus affecting the rural cultural protection.At the same time,the impact of cultural and tourism utilization factors on rural cultural protection is also significant.From the perspective of the main body of rural cultural protection,this paper explores the psychology of the main body of rural cultural protection,promotes the upgrading of rural tourism quality and efficiency while protecting rural culture,deepens theoretical research and strengthens practical application,which has important enlightenment significance for realizing the healthy inheritance of rural culture.On the other hand,this paper can provide reasonable suggestions for the governance and development of rural traditional tourism. 展开更多
