The shielding effectiveness of polyester fabrics with different inlaid distance of parallel metal fibres to electromagnetic wave was studied in this paper on special instrument made by ourselves. The results of test show that the fabric with different inlaid distances of metal fibres and the testing angle between electric field plane and parallel metal fibres of have obvious effect on the shielding effectiveness of electromagnetic wave. 展开更多

Effect of Ni on Sintering Characteristics of Short Cast Iron Fibre

Nickel,as the carrier through which Fe atoms diffuse,obviously enhances the densification of sintered compact containing short cast iron fibre. When Ni content is above 4.5 wt-% there are some austenites in microstructure at room temperature, discontinuous cementite networks at the interfaces between austenites and pearlites,free graphite pre- cipitated in austenite and pores and Widmannst(?)tten carbide precipitated in austenite. When Ni content is about 12 wt-%,it leads to de- crease in densification ratio and change in fracture morphology of sintered compact from ductile to brittle. 展开更多

Oxidative decomposition of dilute nitrobenzene in air was carried out in a catalytic plasma reactor with an inner electrode made of sintered metal fibres(SMF)that also acted as catalyst.The parameters of the concentration,specific input energy,and gas residence time were optimized.The modification of the SMF inner electrode with transition metal oxides like MnOx and CoOx oxides promoted complete oxidation,especially at low input energy.CoOx/SMF showed higher activity than MnOx/SMF and SMF,and could oxidise completely 100 ppm of nitrobenzene at 300 J/L. 展开更多

GLARE (glass fibre/epoxy reinforced aluminum laminate) is a member of the fiber metal laminate (FML) family, and is built up of alternating metal and fiber layers. About 500 m2 GLARE is employed in each Airbus A380 because of the superior mechanical properties over the monolithic Muminum alloys, such as weight reduction, improved damage tolerance and higher ultimate tensile strength. Many tons of new GLARE scraps have been accumulated during the Airbus A380 manufacturing. Moreover, with the increasing plane orders of Airbus A380, more and more end-of-life (EOL) GLARE scrap will be generated after retire of planes within forty years. Thermal processing is a potential method for the material recycling and re-use from GLARE with the aim of environmental protection and economic benefits. The current study indicatdes that thermal delamination is a crucial pre-treatment step for the GLARE recycling. The decomposition behavior of the epoxy resins at elevated temperatures was investigated by using the simultaneous thermal analysis, thermogravimetry analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Based on the thermal analysis results, GLARE thermal delamination experiments at refined temperatures were carried out to optimize the treatment temperature and holding time. 展开更多
