A Study on the Challenges of Human-Centric Cyber-Security and the Guarantee of Information Quality

Information security and quality management are often considered two different fields. However, organizations must be mindful of how software security may affect quality control. This paper examines and promotes methods through which secure software development processes can be integrated into the Systems Software Development Life-cycle (SDLC) to improve system quality. Cyber-security and quality assurance are both involved in reducing risk. Software security teams work to reduce security risks, whereas quality assurance teams work to decrease risks to quality. There is a need for clear standards, frameworks, processes, and procedures to be followed by organizations to ensure high-level quality while reducing security risks. This research uses a survey of industry professionals to help identify best practices for developing software with fewer defects from the early stages of the SDLC to improve both the quality and security of software. Results show that there is a need for better security awareness among all members of software development teams.

ISO25000-Related Metrics for Evaluating the Quality of Complex Information Systems

Evaluating complex information systems necessitates deep contextual knowledge of technology, user needs, and quality. The quality evaluation challenges increase with the system’s complexity, especially when multiple services supported by varied technological modules, are offered. Existing standards for software quality, such as the ISO25000 series, provide a broad framework for evaluation. Broadness offers initial implementation ease albeit, it often lacks specificity to cater to individual system modules. This paper maps 48 data metrics and 175 software metrics on specific system modules while aligning them with ISO standard quality traits. Using the ISO25000 series as a foundation, especially ISO25010 and 25012, this research seeks to augment the applicability of these standards to multi-faceted systems, exemplified by five distinct software modules prevalent in modern information ecosystems.

The Impact of Information Technology on Service Quality,Satisfaction,and Customer Relationship Management(Case Study:IT Organization Individuals)

Recent research and studies have shown that Information Technology(IT)has a significant impact on service quality,customer satisfaction,and customer relationship development.With the proliferation and penetration of technology in all aspects of life,organizations are responding to the implications and opportunities that IT creates in relation to customer services.The main objective of using information technology in organizations is to increase customer satisfaction,service quality,and customer relationship management,which the authors will focus on here.Enhancing service quality,improving customer satisfaction,and establishing close and sustainable customer relationships are key advantages of leveraging information technology in this field.This article examines the impact of information technology on service quality,customer satisfaction,and customer relationship development and provides strategies and models for organizations to improve customer satisfaction and establish closer connections with them through the use of information technology.Seventy individuals from the IT field were used to evaluate the proposed model.The proposed model was compared with three models:SEM,regression,and decision tree,and the results demonstrated better performance of this approach.

Assessment of the Drafting Quality of Request Forms Submitted to the Malaria and Parasitology Units at the Institut Pasteur de Cote d’Ivoire

Biological tests provide information on the medical analysis requested by both the patient and the prescriber. It is a communication link between the prescriber and the laboratory staff. The lack of some information on request forms not only affects the drafting quality of the test and patient care, but could also make thousands of data produced by healthcare centers unusable. The aim of this study was to assess the drafting quality of request forms submitted to the Malaria and Parasitology Units at the Institut Pasteur de Côte d’Ivoire. Methods: It was a descriptive cross-sectional study to assess the drafting quality of request forms of various prescribers received at the Institut Pasteur de Côte d’Ivoire. This study was conducted at the Malaria and Parasitology Units, department of Parasitology and Mycology (Institut Pasteur de Côte d’Ivoire), from 6th December 2020 to 6th December 2021. The information on each request forms was recorded on a data collection form designed for this purpose. Each data collection form corresponds to a request forms and each test to a patient. Results: Out of a total of 1990 request forms received, the patient’s age and sex were missing on 18% and 26.8% of the tests respectively. More than half (51.80%) of request forms did not indicate the patient’s place of residence. Clinical information was not provided on 45.90% of the tests. Prescribers omitting their signatures were 51%, stamps were 50.3% and contacts were 71.2%. Only 5.4% of request forms were of good drafting quality. Providing all the required information on the forms could facilitate the use and analysis of data and samples.

Quality Requirements for Multimedia Interactive Informative Systems

Multimedia Interactive Informative Systems (MIIS) are software applications resulting from the convergence of multiples technologies such as audiovisual, computing and communication. They aim to transmit information to a large, diverse and dispersed public. As with other mass media, the fulfillment of MIIS goals depends largely on the quality of communication between the system and end users. Therefore, those systems should be developed in order to ensure that this quality requirement is satisfied. If MIIS are constructed according to usual software engineering practices, the analysis discipline of the development process includes requirements identification and specification;however, these techniques are focused on functional requirements, and they do not give much importance to non-functional requirements. In this paper, we propose a development process based on the production of videogames which has two different phases: preproduction and production. The first phase, corresponding to requirements identification, derives into the concept of system. In order to translate this concept into a specification, we propose the use of new communicational attributes and a MIIS metamodel. The establishment of MIIS non-functional specification is the result of analyzing class diagrams through quality attributes. In order to evaluate if the specifications are responding to communicational attributes, a functional prototype is built and evaluated with end users. The proposed methodology is applied to a real case study.

Assessment of Agricultural Soil Quality Indices Using Mechanistic Models

Assessing soil quality is a critical strategy for diagnosing soil status and anticipating concerns in land use systems for agricultural sustainability. In this study, two soil quality assessment indices, the Integrated Quality Index (IQI) and Nemoro Quality Index (NQI), were employed using two indicator selection methods: Total Data Set (TDS) and Minimum Data Set (MDS), focusing on agricultural fields in Golestan province, Iran. A total of 89 soil samples were collected and analyzed for particle size distribution, organic carbon, calcium carbonate equivalent (CCE), electrical conductivity (EC), pH, and plant-essential nutrients, including nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, copper, manganese, and iron. Principal component analysis (PCA) was used to extract MDS from TDS, and geostatistical adaptation and correlation analyses were performed to determine the optimal soil quality evaluation index. Our results show that the exponential model better suits the spatial structure of soil quality indicators (IQIMDS: 0.955). Conformity and correlation analyses indicate that the IQI index outperformed the NQI index in estimating soil quality. The superiority of the TDS technique over the MDS technique in terms of accuracy (IQITDSs kappa: 0.155). Linear relationships between different methods showed a higher correlation coefficient (R2 = 0.43) through the application of IQI. This study suggests the use of IQIMDS to provide a reliable measurement that is particularly useful in assessing the quality of agricultural soil.

基于LSTM和Informer变体的渔业水质预测研究

现代化渔业养殖需要更快更准确的水质预测,提升养殖水质预测的精度对提升渔业养殖的效率具有重要意义,为此提出一种结合随机森林、SG滤波器、LSTM和Informer变体的渔业水质预测模型。首先通过随机森林算法填补数据中的缺失值,通过SG滤波器减少噪声干扰。其次将LSTM结合静态和瞬时递归网络作为Informer中的内部结构,将数据送入模型中。最后通过全连接层输出得到水质预测结果,对渔场内监测点的水温、pH值、溶解氧进行预测。结果表明所提方法提高了渔业养殖水质预测的预测精度。

Research on the Consumers Willingness to Buy Traceable Pork with Different Quality Information:A Case Study of Consumers in Weifang, Shandong Province

The traceability system can effectively reduce the food safety risks, however, it is confronted with various problems during its implementation. In this context, the paper carries out a case study of consumers in Weifang, Shandong Province, and studies their willingness to pay the traceable pork with different quality information. The results indicate that, the consumers show high expectations towards the introduction of traceability system, and they tend to buy the traceable pork only with breeding and slaughter information; their behaviors of purchase are greatly influenced by the following factors: the consumers education, age, income, attention on food safety and whether there are pregnant family members, etc..

Fuzzy Integral Based Information Fusion for Water Quality Monitoring Using Remote Sensing Data

To improve the monitoring precision of lake chlorophyll a (Chl-a), this paper presents a fusion method based on Choquet Fuzzy Integral (CFI) to estimate the Chl-a concentration. A group of BPNN models are designed. The output of multiple BPNN model is fused by the CFI. Meanwhile, to resolve the over-fitting problem caused by a small number of training sets, we design an algorithm that fully considers neighbor sampling information. A classification experiment of the Chl-a concentration of the Taihu Lake is conducted. The result shows that, the proposed approach is superior to the classification using a single neural network classifier, and the CFI fusion method has higher identification accuracy.

Information Quality Control of ERP System

From the viewpoint of manufacturing enterprises, th is thesis discusses the concept and definition of information quality as well as t he connotation of information quality. Based on our personal experiences of many years, we have summarized the cases of success and failure with ERP system, an d from the angle of information quality control, we have come up with the follow ing concepts : static information quality of enterprises, information maturity o f enterprises and dynamic information quality.

Can One Drink Informal Water Alternatives Directly? Using Mobile Phone to Establish Trust in Quality

The informal water market in cities within the Global South is expanding, thanks to drought associated water shortage challenges and other socio-hydrological factors. A midst the growth is the inherent information signal asymmetry driven mainly by the vendors’ unwillingness to share the actual quality data of their source water with their customers. As a result a big mistrust environment has been created as currently;the customers have no mechanism to verify the water quality in real time. This paper aimed at developing an android application software system to fill the gap. The system is to operate the water vending business landscape as a trusted social network site (SNS) using handheld mobile phone devices. An Agile-Scrum methodology was utilized as it allows for quick changes to the system as necessary. An android platform was chosen as the initial Operating System (OS) to run the software system due to its faster global outreach capability. Specifically, Android Studio 3.4.2 IDE running on Windows 10 was deployed. And the primary languages used within the IDE were;Kotlin for the functionality and XML for the user interface (UI). Additionally, the Firebase SDK tools were used for cloud-based database functionality. The results of the prototype include;user side access and feedback exchanges, backend side supports and other added functionalities. The paper is of the strong view that since the system works on anytime-anywhere modality, then it is possible that one can drink the informal water directly. The system is recommended for full scale trial in the affected cities.

Impact of user influence on information multi-step communication in a micro-blog

User influence is generally considered as one of the most critical factors that affect information cascading spreading. Based on this common assumption, this paper proposes a theoretical model to examine user influence on the information multi-step communication in a micro-biog. The multi-steps of information communication are divided into first-step and non-first-step, and user influence is classified into five dimensions. Actual data from the Sina micro-blog is collected to construct the model by means of an approach based on structural equations that uses the Partial Least Squares （PLS） technique. Our experimental results indicate that the dimensions of the number of fans and their authority significantly impact the information of first-step conxrnunication. Leader rank has a positive impact on both first-step and non-first-step communication. Moreover, global centrality and weight of friends are positively related to the information non-first-step communication, but authority is found to have much less relation to it.

Why don’t the Dutch use quality information in their hospital choice? Results from a survey among 479 patients from a Dutch hospital

Information about the quality of hospitals is becoming increasingly available for patients in the Netherlands. Consequently, patients are able to make an informed hospital choice. However, previous research reveals that patients do not or barely use quality information in their hospital choice. This is puzzling from the perspective of the demand-driven health care system, which considers patients as rational health consumers, capable of making independent choices. This article is meant to study why the Dutch patients do not use quality information. In order to answer this question, patients with nonacute ailments visiting the hospital clinics of several departments of a Dutch hospital were asked to fill in a self-administered questionnaire about their hospital choice and use of quality information. A total of 479 patients were included in the sample. The response rate was 81.9%. The results show that 5.2% of the respondents had actually seen quality information and 4.0% had used it in their hospital choice. Logistic regression analysis was carried out in order to explain why some patients use quality information and some do not. This analysis shows that nonusers compared to users are more frequently females, were older, have relatively more trust in their GP’s and distrust quality information more often.

Strategies for Information Dissemination of Quality and Safety Crisis of Tropical Agricultural Products

The quality and safety crisis of agricultural products on the one hand is the crisis of harm of agricultural products,and on the other hand is the crisis of information dissemination. This paper analyzed the characteristics of content of the quality and safety crisis information of tropical agricultural products. On the basis of these characteristics,it came up with strategies and recommendations for solving the problems of quality and safety of tropical agricultural products,including establishing the emergency response system for quality and safety crisis of tropical agricultural products,bringing into play the social responsibilities of scientific research institutions,and bringing into play authoritative effect of scientific experts.

Linking Numerical Water Quality Models in an Environmental Information System for Integrated Environmental Assessments

Decision makers involved in prevention of water contamination often lack the technical knowledge of water quality evaluation or the comprehension of complex software for environmental information management required to make effective decisions. Providing information about the environment is not an easy task due to its complex structure, relationships, and dynamic processes. Because environmental models play an important role in environmental decision support systems, the integration of models into user-friendly integrated information systems is a key factor in the support of such users. This paper presents an environmental information system which supports water protection of Coatzacoalcos River in Mexico, having as a main building block water quality assessments supported by mathematical modeling through the two-dimensional Saint Venant and Advection-Diffusion-Reaction equations to calculate the river hydrodynamics and the contaminant transport, respectively. The mathematical modeling solution yields appropriate results representing the river contaminant distribution when compared with field measurements. But the direct use of these models by decision makers is difficult at best, meaning they are not likely to be used in making practical decisions. The system described in this paper integrates these models, and several other tools, into a seamless, user-centered application, improving model usability, initial configuration, and results visualization.

Impacts of Clinic-based Informed Choice Program on Quality of Individualized Counseling Service in China

Objective To evaluate the impacts of clinic-based informed choice program on quality of individualized service in family planning clinics in ChinaMethods During the program, family planning service staff in intervention clinics , were trained on counseling skills and key points of individualized counseling service. Questionnaire surveys were conducted pre- and post-informed choice program to evaluate the 'impacts of the program.Results Informed choice program had significantly improved the quality of individualized counseling service. The multivariate regression analysis showed that clients of the clinic were more likely to give the better evaluation of the service, the OR of evaluation score of individualized service is 1/712 (95% CI is 1. 146 to 2. 564) in Experiment Group of post-program in contrast with pre-program. The program also could satisfy individual needs of clients and increase the satisfaction degree of the service. Conclusions Informed choice program is helpful for the improvement of the quality of individualized counseling service. It is necessary and imperative to improve the skills of counseling service provided in family planning clinics.

Quality oriented multimode processes monitoring based on a novel hierarchical common and specific structure with different order information

Due to higher demands on product diversity,flexible shift between productions of different products in one equipment becomes a popular solution,resulting in existence of multiple operation modes in a single process.In order to handle such multi-mode process,a novel double-layer structure is proposed and the original data are decomposed into common and specific characteristics according to the relationship between variables among each mode.In addition,both low and high order information are considered in each layer.The common and specific information within each mode can be captured and separated into several subspaces according to the different order information.The performance of the proposed method is further validated through a numerical example and the Tennessee Eastman(TE)benchmark.Compared with previous methods,superiority of the proposed method is validated by the better monitoring results.

An Analysis of the Value of Additional Information Provided by Water Quality Measurement Network

European Community policy concerning water is placing increasing demands on the acquisition of information about the quality of aquatic environments. The cost of this information has led to a reflection on the rationalization of monitoring networks and, therefore, on the economic value of information produced by these networks. The aim of this article is to contribute to this reflection. To do so, we used the Bayesian framework to define the value of additional information in relation to the following three parameters: initial assumptions (prior probabilities) on the states of nature, costs linked to a poor decision (error costs) and accuracy of additional information. We then analyzed the impact of these parameters on this value, particularly the combined role of prior probabilities and error costs that increased or decreased the value of information depending on the initial uncertainty level. We then illustrated the results using a case study of a stream in the Bas-Rhin department in France.

Research on Information Quality Evaluation of Network Community

With the increasing popularity of the Internet,a large number of network communities have been born.The user generated content based on the Internet is constantly emerging,and the quality of network information is uneven.It is helpful to improve the competitiveness of community websites to evaluate the information quality.This paper constructs the evaluation index system of information quality of network community,determines the weight of each index by AHP,and establishes the information quality evaluation model by using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method.The research in this paper has reference value for various types of website information quality evaluation.
