Component reallocation(CR)is receiving increasing attention in many engineering systems with functionally interchangeable and unbalanced degradation components.This paper studies a CR and system replacement maintenanc...Component reallocation(CR)is receiving increasing attention in many engineering systems with functionally interchangeable and unbalanced degradation components.This paper studies a CR and system replacement maintenance policy of series repairable systems,which undergoes minimal repairs for each emergency failure of components,and considers constant downtime and cost of minimal repair,CR and system replacement.Two binary mixed integer nonlinear programming models are respectively established to determine the assignment of CR,and the uptime right before CR and system replacement with the objective of minimizing the system average maintenance cost and maximizing the system availability.Further,we derive the optimal uptime right before system replacement with maximization of the system availability,and then give the relationship between the system availability and the component failure rate.Finally,numerical examples show that the CR and system replacement maintenance policy can effectively reduce the system average maintenance cost and improve the system availability,and further give the sensitivity analysis and insights of the CR and system replacement maintenance policy.展开更多
Tensor robust principal component analysis has received a substantial amount of attention in various fields.Most existing methods,normally relying on tensor nuclear norm minimization,need to pay an expensive computati...Tensor robust principal component analysis has received a substantial amount of attention in various fields.Most existing methods,normally relying on tensor nuclear norm minimization,need to pay an expensive computational cost due to multiple singular value decompositions at each iteration.To overcome the drawback,we propose a scalable and efficient method,named parallel active subspace decomposition,which divides the unfolding along each mode of the tensor into a columnwise orthonormal matrix(active subspace)and another small-size matrix in parallel.Such a transformation leads to a nonconvex optimization problem in which the scale of nuclear norm minimization is generally much smaller than that in the original problem.We solve the optimization problem by an alternating direction method of multipliers and show that the iterates can be convergent within the given stopping criterion and the convergent solution is close to the global optimum solution within the prescribed bound.Experimental results are given to demonstrate that the performance of the proposed model is better than the state-of-the-art methods.展开更多

It is shown that in addition to the changing rules of geomagnetic low-value displacement itself, there is a better correlation between geomagnetic low-value displacement and the occurrence of moderately strong earthquakes. There appeared to be geomagnetic low-value displacement before the moderately strong earthquakes in Gansu in the 9 years from 1995 to 2003. This result indicates that geomagnetic low-value displacement is of instructive significance for earthquake prediction to some extents.展开更多
Recently,linear codes with a few weights have been extensively studied due to their applications in secret sharing schemes,constant composition codes,strongly regular graphs and so on.In this paper,based on the Weil s...Recently,linear codes with a few weights have been extensively studied due to their applications in secret sharing schemes,constant composition codes,strongly regular graphs and so on.In this paper,based on the Weil sums,several classes of two-weight or three-weight linear codes are presented by choosing a proper defining set,and their weight enumerators and complete weight enumerators are determined.Furthermore,these codes are proven to be minimal.By puncturing these linear codes,two classes of two-weight projective codes are obtained,and the parameters of the corresponding strongly regular graph are given.This paper generalizes the results of[7].展开更多
