Based on the distinguishing characteristics and mine pressure control principle in this technology, the basic principles and methods for mining pressure monitoring were analyzed and established. And the characteristics of overburden strata movement were analyzed by monitoring the support resistance of hydraulic support, the dynamic subsidence of immediate roof, the stress of backfill body, the front abutment pressure, and the mass ratio of cut coal to backfilled materials. On-site strata behavior measurements of 7403 W solid backfilling working face in Zhai Zhen Coal Mine show that the backfill body can effectively support the overburden load, obviously control the overburden strata movement, and weaken the strata behaviors distinctly. Specific performances are as follows. The support resistance decreases obviously; the dynamic subsidence of immediate roof keeps consistent to the variation of backfill body stress, and tends to be stable after the face retreating to 120-150 m away from the cut. The peak value of front abutment pressure arises at 5-12 m before the operating face, and mass ratio is greater than the designed value of 1.15, which effectively ensures the control of strata movement. Based on the concept of water-resisting key strata, the mechanics model of the key strata is established given the structural characteristics and the mechanical properties of the roof rock layers of the working face in a particular coal mine. Four other models were derived from this model by rearranging the order of the layers in the key strata. The distribution characteristics of stress, deformation, pore pressure and the flow vector of all the models are computed using the analytical module of fluid-structure interaction in the FLAC software and the corresponding risks of a water-burst are analyzed. The results indicate that the water-insulating ability of the key strata is related to the arrangement of soft and hard rocks. The water-insulating ability of the compound water-resisting key strata (CWKS) with a hard-hard-soft-hard-soft compounding order is the best under the five given simulated conditions.展开更多

For high stress conditions,we chose a Burgers model and found deformation of key strata in the form of attenuation and steady-state creep and although the rate of deformation remained constant, secondary creep was obvious, causing instability in the system. As well,we analysed the effect of creep buckling and derived a relation between buckling force and time.展开更多

Production safety in coal mines in northern China is under serious threat from Ordovician karst water on coal seam floors, in order to analyze the destruction of water-resisting strata in floors of coal seams being mined and to achieve safe mining above deep aquifers, we established a numerical model of water-resisting strata, considering the structural characteristics and mechanical properties of a floor layered with hard and soft rock. We simulated the distribution characteristics of deformation, failure and seepage using the analytical module of fluid-structure interaction of FLAt:. We also obtained the corresponding stress distribution, deformation and flow vectors. Our results indi- cate that: (1) the advance of the working face causes water-resisting strata in goaf floors to form a deep double-clamped beam, subject to homogeneous loading at the bottom; (2) the two sides of the rock beam are subject 1~0 shear failure; (3) both sides of the rock seam at the bottom of the water-resisting strata are subject to tension and the greater the working face advance, the more serious the failure; C4) the original balance of the stress and seepage fields are broken and redistributed due to mining activities, especially the interaction of the abutment pressure in both sides of the goal; the lateral pressure on the goal floor and the water pressure on the floor of the aquifer promote floor heave and shear failure on both sides of the floor, forming a water-inrush passage. Our study results can provide references for the mechanism of water-inrush on mine floors.展开更多

First of all, the basic principle of fluid(gas)-solid coupling was briefly described, and a three dimensional model was established by FLAC software. Secondly, the calculation parameters of fluid-solid coupling were obtained based on the measured data, and the numerical calculation of sublevel mining was carried out in turn. Lastly, initial stress state, gas movement law, deformation law of pore pressure and movement characteristics of rock strata were studied, respectively. The results show that the gas and pressure were greatly reduced with the advance of 4 coal seam working surface, as well as the constant increase of area of goaf. Facilitating gas and the stress were gradually penetrated and released to goaf during the whole process of mining. The gas pressure, the aggregation degree and the surrounding rock pressure of the 1 coal seam and the 3 coal seam were greatly reduced.展开更多

文摘The changeable structure and movement law of overlying strata are the maincontributor to the change of mining stress.Starting from the relevant theory of keystratum and particularly based on the theory of mine ground pressure and strata control, this research proposed a new solution to mining stress problems by establishing adual-load-zone stratum structural model.Elastic foundation beam theory was used tosolve the stress of overlying strata of the dual-load-zones with superposition method, which revised the traditional calculation method of mining stress. The abnormal increaseof lead abutment pressure in the mining area was explained effectively, through which theevolution law of mining stress in the case of hard rock was obtained. The results indicatethat mining stress experiences a drastic change within the range of 50 m ahead of the coalwall due to the collapse of main roof;under the influence of main key stratum andinferior key strata, the influence range of lead abutment pressure is extended up toapproximately 120 m in the working face;this remarkable increase can be attributed tothe excessive length of sagging zone. Results from both the dual-load-zone modelexperiment and field measurement demonstrate high consistency. The model can predictthe influence range of abutment pressure effectively and thus guide the safety productionof mining.

文摘Based on the characteristic of deep rock layers and the theory of key strata,we analysed elastic mechanical characteristics of key strata by using elastic plate theory. The results show that the deformation and distribution of internal forces of key strata vary with different mine boundary conditions. The boundary values of key strata with three point boundaries and one fixed boundary is greater than that with four fixed boundaries.Considering the rheology of key strata under low stress conditions,we selected a generalized Kelvin model to analyse the rheology characteristics of the key strata and discovered their instantaneous elastic phases. The rate of deformation decreased over time to the point where the key strata reached stability. But over this time, the effect on deformation became very clear. For high stress conditions,we chose a Burgers model and found deformation of key strata in the form of attenuation and steady-state creep and although the rate of deformation remained constant, secondary creep was obvious, causing instability in the system. As well,we analysed the effect of creep buckling and derived a relation between buckling force and time.

文摘In order to study the evolution laws during the development process of the coal face overburden rock mining-induced fissure,we studied the process of evolution of overburden rock mining-induced fissures and dynamically quantitatively described its fractal laws, based on the high-precision microseismic monitoring method and the nonlinear Fractal Geometry Theory. The results show that:the overburden rock mining-induced fissure fractal dimension experiences two periodic change processes with the coal face advance, namely a Small→ Big→ Small process, which tends to be stable;the functional relationship between the extraction step distance and the overburden rock mining-induced fissure fractal dimension is a cubic curve. The results suggest that the fractal dimension reflects the evolution characteristics of the overburden rock mining-induced fissure, which can be used as an evaluation index of the stability of the overburden rock strata, and it provides theoretical guidance for stability analysis of the overburden rock strata, goaf roof control and the support movements in the mining face.
文摘Mining-induced fracture zone will be produced in the overlying strata after the coal was mined. In this article, the mining-induced deformation of overlying strata and the time-space evolution law of fissure were studied by the methods of physical simulation and field measurement. The results show that bed separation fissure and vertical fissure will appear in the overlying strata above mining face, which form the wedge-shaped fissure zone. The open degree of fissure depends on the size of uncoordinated deformation between neighbor layers, and the absolute strata sinking controls both the width of bed separation zone and the open degree of vertical breakage fissure. At last, the calculating formula was deducted based on theoretical analysis.

文摘The technology of pressure relief gas drainage is one of the most effective and economic for preventing gas emissions in underground mines.Based on current understanding of strata breakage and fracture development in overlying strata, the current study divides the overlying strata into the following three longitudinal zones in terms of the state of gas flow:a turbulent channel zone,a transitional circulation channel zone and a seepage channel zone.According to the key strata discrimination theory of controlling the overlying strata, the calculation method establishes that the step-type expansion of the mining gas channel corresponds to the advancing distance of working face, and this research also confrms the expanding rule that the mining gas channel in overlying strata follows the advancing distance of mining working face.Based on the geological conditions of Xinjing Coal Mine of Yangquan, this paper researches the expanding rule of mining gas channel as well as the control action of the channel acting on the pressure relief flow under the condition of the remote protective layer, and got the distance using inversion that the step-type expanding of mining gas channel is corresponding to the advancing distance of working face, which verifes the accuracy and feasibility of theoretical calculation method proposed in this study. The research provides the theoretical basis for choosing the technology of pressure relief gas drainage and designing the parameters of construction.

文摘With the increase in mining depth many mining areas in China have entered a period necessitating mining above aquifers. Our study results can provide references for the mechanism of water-inrush on mine floors.

文摘Based on the character of upward slicing backfilling mining and the condition of Gonggeyingzi coal mine in Inner Mongolia, this paper describes the studies of the strata behavior and the stress distribution in the process of backfilling mining in extra-thick coal seams. This was achieved by setting up and analyzing the elastic foundation beam model using the ABAQUS software. The results show that:(1) With the gradual mining of different slices, the roof appears to bend continuously but does not break. The vertical stress in the roof decreases and the decreasing amplitude reduces, while the tensile stress in the roof grows with the mining slices and the maximum tensile stress will not exceed the allowable tensile stress.(2) The front vertical stress at the working face exceeds the rear vertical stress and both show a trend of decrease with decreasing amplitude of decrease.(3) The slices mined early have more influence on the surrounding rock than the later ones.Similarly, the strata behavior experiences the same trend. The field measured data show that the roof does not break during the mining process, which is consistent with the conclusion.

文摘According to the problem during mining coal seam with high gas and its control, the theory numerical calculation of gas and strata movement law caused by protection layer mining was studied, with the background of Snake Mountain coal mine. The gas pressure, the aggregation degree and the surrounding rock pressure of the 1 coal seam and the 3 coal seam were greatly reduced.
文摘A prediction method of strata movement in underground metal mines is put forward, in which fuzzy BP neural network is applied. The results show that there is a strong nonlinear relation between the selected factors and strata movement angle, the anticipant and the actual output results are very similar. It is proved that the numerical value of movement angle is correlated with the selected factors in theory. The scope of strata and surface movement due to mining can be predicted. This research provides a thought to study the movement scope of strata due to mining.
文摘Destress blasting(DB)implemented along the perimeter of safety pillars is a special application of destressing in coal longwall mining. The goal is to separate relatively more deformed mined areas from safety pillars, such as shaft pillars or cross-cut pillars,to reduce the transfer of high stresses to the protective pillar. This case study aims to numerically simulate selected destress blasts in the Czech part of the Upper Silesian Coal Basin and examine its impact on stress transfer to the safety pillar area.To separate the area between the protective pillar and the longwall(LW),two fans of five 93-mm blast holes(length of 93e100 m)were drilled from the gate roads into the overburden strata. Each set of blast holes was fired separately in two stages without time delay. The explosive charge(gelatin-type of explosive)of each stage is 3450 kg.The two DB stages were fired when the longwall face was approximately 158 m and 152 m away from the blast.A 3D mine-wide model is built and validated with in situ stress measured with hydrofracturing.Mining and destressing in three 5-m thick coal seams are simulated in the region.Numerical modeling of DB is successfully conducted using a rock fragmentation factor a of 0.05 and a stress reduction/dissipation factor β of 0.95.Buffering of transfer of additional stress from the mining area into the safety pillar is evaluated by comparison of yielding volume before and after DB.It is shown that yielding volume drops after DB by nearly 80%in the area of the destressing panel and near the safety shaft pillar.

文摘Based on simulated material scale modeling and numerical simulation, the protective seam mining method was conducted at one coal mine. After extracting the No.15seam, the overlying strata movement and the deformation of the No.9-10 protected seamwere studied. The experiment results show that it is feasible to destress the protectedseams with large interburden thickness. When the face had advanced 200 m from thesetup room, the No.9-10 seam was fully destressed, resulting in easy gas drainage in thedestressed zone. Recommendations on mining sequence of multiple seams mining in thesame coal areas were made.
