This paper proposes a multi input multi output converter for Grid-Solar power integration for uninterrupted power supply. The proposed converter uses four winding transformer with two primary windings and two secondary windings. The grid supply is connected to the first winding of transformer through rectifier-inverter for controlled power transfer. The solar energy is inverted and applied to the second winding of primary. Two output ports are considered. The circuit is designed to get zero current switching during turn-off and zero voltage switching during turn-on to alleviate the switching losses. The simulation results for the proposed configuration are presented in this paper.展开更多

In this paper,an indoor layout sensing and localization system with testbed in the 60-GHz millimeter wave(mmWave)band,named mmReality,is elaborated.The mmReality system consists of one transmitter and one mobile recei...In this paper,an indoor layout sensing and localization system with testbed in the 60-GHz millimeter wave(mmWave)band,named mmReality,is elaborated.The mmReality system consists of one transmitter and one mobile receiver,both with a phased array and a single radio frequency(RF)chain.To reconstruct the room layout,the pilot signal is delivered from the transmitter to the receiver via different pairs of transmission and receiving beams,so that multipath signals in all directions can be captured.Then spatial smoothing and the two-dimensional multiple signal classification(MUSIC)algorithm are applied to detect the angle-of-departures(AoDs)and angle-of-arrivals(AoAs)of propagation paths.Moreover,the technique of multi-carrier ranging is adopted to measure the path lengths.Therefore,with the measurements of the receiver in different locations of the room,the receiver and virtual transmitters can be pinpointed to reconstruct the room layout.Experiments show that the reconstructed room layout can be utilized to localize a mobile device via the AoA spectrum.展开更多
Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces(RIS)have emerged as a promising technology for improving the reliability of massive MIMO communication networks.However,conventional RIS suffer from poor Spectral Efficiency(SE)and ...Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces(RIS)have emerged as a promising technology for improving the reliability of massive MIMO communication networks.However,conventional RIS suffer from poor Spectral Efficiency(SE)and high energy consumption,leading to complex Hybrid Precoding(HP)designs.To address these issues,we propose a new low-complexity HP model,named Dynamic Hybrid Relay Reflecting RIS based Hybrid Precoding(DHRR-RIS-HP).Our approach combines active and passive elements to cancel out the downsides of both conventional designs.We first design a DHRR-RIS and optimize the pilot and Channel State Information(CSI)estimation using an adaptive threshold method and Adaptive Back Propagation Neural Network(ABPNN)algorithm,respectively,to reduce the Bit Error Rate(BER)and energy consumption.To optimize the data stream,we cluster them into private and public streams using Enhanced Fuzzy C-Means(EFCM)algorithm,and schedule them based on priority and emergency level.To maximize the sum rate and SE,we perform digital precoder optimization at the Base Station(BS)side using Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient(DDPG)algorithm and analog precoder optimization at the DHRR-RIS using Fire Hawk Optimization(FHO)algorithm.We implement our proposed work using MATLAB R2020a and compare it with existing works using several validation metrics.Our results show that our proposed work outperforms existing works in terms of SE,Weighted Sum Rate(WSR),and BER.展开更多
