This study was an attempt made to explore the possibility of increasing the surface properties of the AZ91D magnesium alloy by applying ZrO_(2)coating using Physical Vapour Deposition(PVD-RF)sputtering process.In order to improve the quality of the coating,the PVD process parameter with multiple performance characteristics was optimized by using the Taguchi grey approach.L 18 orthogonal array was selected for conducting the experiments.The proposed Taguchi grey method was find out the optimal process parameter for multiple performance characteristics.The optimal combination was attained at chamber pressure of 0.003 bar,argon gas in millibar and power input of 200 W.The validation experiment result shows an improvement in the micro hardness and surface finish.Also,the performance characterizations such as SEM,EDX,XRD,coating thickness,surface roughness and micro hardness were measured at optimal process parameter. 展开更多

The model of grey multi-attribute group decision-making (MAGDM) is studied, in which the attribute values are grey numbers. Based on the generalized dominance-based rough set approach (G-DR- SA), a synthetic security evaluation method is presented. With-the grey MAGDM security evaluation model as its foundation, the extension of technique for order performance by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) integrates the evaluation of each decision-maker (DM) into a group's consensus and obtains the expected evaluation results of information system. Via the quality of sorting (QoS) of G-DRSA, the inherent information hidden in data is uncovered, and the security attribute weight and DMs' weight are rationally obtained. Taking the computer networks in a certain university as objects, the example illustrates that this method can effectively remove the bottleneck of the grey MAGDM model and has practical significance in the synthetic security evaluation. 展开更多

Quantifying the tool–tissue interaction forces in surgery can be utilized in the training of inexperienced surgeons,assist them better use surgical tools and avoid applying excessive pressures.The voltages read from strain gauges are used to approximate the unknown values of implemented forces.To this objective,the force-voltage connection must be quantified in order to evaluate the interaction forces during surgery.The progress of appropriate statistical learning approaches to describe the link between the genuine force applied on the tissue and numerous outputs obtained from sensors installed on surgical equipment is a key problem.In this study,different probabilistic approaches are used to evaluate the realized force on tissue using voltages read from strain gauges,including bootstrapping,Bayesian regression,weighted least squares regression,and multi-level modelling.Estimates from the proposed models are more precise than the maximum likelihood and restricted maximum likelihood techniques.The suggested methodologies are proficient of assessing tool-tissue interface forces with an adequate level of accuracy. 展开更多
