The obtained PET/ nano-Au/Pt-RD electrode showed an extreme sensitivity to Cr(VI). By using this electrode, 1.09 ng·L﹣1 was the detection limit of differential pulse adsorptive cathodic stripping voltammetry for Cr(VI) with the accumulation time of only 2 min. Moreover, this electrode was reproducible with 3.5% RSD for 30 times of Cr(VI) accumulating and stripping. In addition, this electrode was also selective for Cr(VI) determination, which was not almost interfered by other inorganic ions.展开更多

The surface morphology and active area of the catalysts, and their catalytic activity toward methanol oxidation and oxygen reduction were studied by SEM,linear and cyclic voltammetry. The result shows that the diameters of global Pt particles are affected by the scan rate of cyclic voltammetry:the faster the scan rate is,the smaller the diameters of Pt particles are. The size of the nano-scale platinum catalysts has different effects on their catalytic activity toward oxygen reduction and methanol oxidation:the catalyst with a size of 100 nm shows its best activity toward methanol oxidation, but the catalyst with a size of 65 nm shows its best activity toward oxygen reduction.展开更多

Gas sensing characteristics of this composition both in porous pellet and thin film configurations were investigated. The compound Ag6Mo10O33 was found to sense selectively ammonia at 503 K. Above 503 K it has significant cross sensitivity to petroleum gas (PG). Spin coated thin films exhibited selective sensing towards PG.展开更多
