Systematic Review of Community Type 2 Diabetes Structured Health Education (CT2DSHE)

Aim: This paper aims to evaluate disparities of type 2 diabetes structured health education programmes that is utilised within the communities. Design: systematic review, (a type of secondary research design) aiming to summarize the results of prior primary research studies on available evidence Community type 2 diabetes structured education (CT2DSHE). Methods: Research question: Type 2 diabetic structured health education within a community how effective is it? Qualitative Systematic review, defined as a way to get reliable and objective picture of current available evidence on the specific topic—(CT2DSHE), (Denscombe, 2021) through reflexivity synthesis of available data as an example. This is valuable in time constraints such as project assignments that must be met within specific time and also to bring together available evidence together [1]. Results: This review has shown that CT2DSHE is effective with seven out of the eleven authors supporting, three authors against and one was neutral, further showed that knowledge and skills acquired can last longer with patient activation improved among T2DM patients ideal for sustaining their self-management of T2DM. Conclusion: This research provides suggestive answers to the research question: “Type 2 diabetic structured health education within a community how effective is it?”, This has demonstrated CT2DSHE effectiveness in knowledge acquisition and improving T2DM awareness among T2DM patients, whilst evidencing long effects beyond the study times of 3 - 9 months period in relation to patient activation. Also Identified diabetes education self-management on newly diagnosed (DESMOND) patient as CT2DSHE program for recommendation. Using methods such as questionnaire survey and literature review,a survey was conducted on the professional development of physical education teachers in Huaiji County under the background of the new curriculum standards.The research results found that physical education teachers in Huaiji County have a relatively good distribution structure in terms of teaching experience,age,and education level,but the gender ratio and professional title ratio need to be improved.In terms of professional competence,teachers have shown good performance in teaching implementation ability,but there is still room for improvement in teaching design ability.A certain proportion of teachers still express dissatisfaction with professional title promotion,hardware configuration satisfaction,salary and benefits,and school reward mechanisms.Based on this,this study proposes some measures to improve the professional development level of county-level physical education teachers,such as enhancing teachers teaching design and implementation abilities,strengthening the cultivation of technical action demonstration abilities,improving hardware configuration satisfaction and teaching effectiveness reflection level,strengthening guidance and support for teachers professional development,and enhancing the promotion and implementation of post employment training. 展开更多

Based on the teaching concept of “Ideological and Political Education in the Curriculum”, taking the curriculum of “Human Resource Management” as an example, this paper explores the reform of ideological and political education design from the perspective of moral education objectives and teaching contents. The course takes “carrying forward the craftsmanship spirit” as the main line, and takes” constructing a pattern of high-quality education” as the main task, which not only cultivates students’ professional skills in human resource management, but also integrates ideological and political elements into all modules of human resource management, pays attention to students’ ideological trends and attaches importance to students’ ideological education. In the teaching content, the course introduces ideological and political elements such as craftsmanship spirit, entrepreneurship spirit and Chinese traditional culture. In recent years,the national higher education reform has proposed the concept of curriculum ideological and political education as a major element.This integration into the standardized training of general practice residents(commonly referred to as general resident training)is an unavoidable trend in the teaching field.Based on the actual situation of our unit at The First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Medical University,this paper emphasizes the necessity of incorporating ideological and political education into the general resident training curriculum,despite the absence of pertinent practical experience in how to effectively incorporate such courses into comprehensive residential training.In our hospital,we must assess the ideological and political education in the curriculum of general resident training,proposing a scientific,reasonable ideological and political education concept system for general practice courses,integrating ideological and political education with general practice resident training,and strengthening the team of ideological and political education physicians to teach them to carry out such education,this would foster enthusiasm and initiative.Strengthening admission education and training for general practice resident training,as well as regularly hosting symposiums to share ideas and understand the mission of doctors can provide effective experience for ideological and political education in general resident training courses. 展开更多

The purpose of this study is to deeply explore the impact of physical education(PE)curriculum reform on students’PE test results.By comparing the data of students’PE tests before and after the reform,analyzing the results of the questionnaire survey,and interviewing teachers and students,this paper reveals the significant effect of curriculum reform in improving students’PE test results.It is found that the curriculum reform effectively stimulates students’interest and participation in sports through optimizing teaching content,innovating teaching methods,improving evaluation systems,and increasing extracurricular sports activities,thus improving students’physical fitness and physical test scores.This study provides an empirical basis and suggestions for further promoting PE curriculum reform. 展开更多

Objective:To explore the application effect of structured healthcare education in patients with brittle diabetes mellitus.Methods:188 brittle diabetic patients admitted to our hospital from May 2021 to December 2023 were selected as the study subjects,and were divided into the control group(n=94)and the observation group(n=94)according to the random number table method.The control group used conventional nursing intervention and the observation group used structured healthcare education.The general information,glycemic indexes,self-efficacy,compliance,and nursing satisfaction of patients in the two groups were observed.Results:There was no statistical significance in the basic information of the two groups of patients(P>0.05);after the intervention,the fasting plasma glucose,2-hour postprandial blood glucose,and HbA1c of the patients in the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.001);after the intervention,the self-efficacy scores of the patients in the two groups increased,and the scores of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.001);the total adherence rate of the patients in the observation group(90/95.75%)was significantly higher than that of the control group(80/90.10%)(χ^(2)=6.144,P<0.05);and the total satisfaction rate of patients in the observation group(92/97.87%)was significantly higher than that of the control group(78/82.98%)(χ^(2)=12.042,P<0.05).Conclusion:In patients with brittle diabetes mellitus,structured healthcare education can effectively control patients’blood glucose levels,improve patients’self-efficacy and adherence,and enhance patient satisfaction. 展开更多

Objective:To explore the intervention effect of the Structured Health Education course and 5A nursing model for self-control of elderly patients with coronary heart disease.Methods:Using the random sampling method,124 elderly CAD patients admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Bengbu Medical University were randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group.The control group line routine health education,experimental group take structured health education combined with 5A nursing before and after the intervention using a coronary heart disease assessment questionnaire,coronary heart disease self-control scale evaluation of two groups of intervention,compare two groups before and after intervention blood pressure,blood sugar,body mass index,lipid index level and complications within 8 months after discharge.Results:After the course intervention,the disease cognition and self-behavior of the experimental group were higher than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.1).Conclusion:This course is suitable for elderly patients with coronary heart disease.The 5A model improves the cognitive and management ability of elderly patients to a certain extent,which is worthy of clinical application. 展开更多

English-language schooling has become a focal point for the Chinese education sector,since English has become the communicative means for global political,cultural and economic exchanges.This new reality means that more is expected from tertiary-level English majors who become increasingly crucial as cross-cultural communicators.Considering the importance and popularity of English major programs,efforts relating to improvements in the existing 2000 Curriculum for English Major Chinese tertiary students Studies for Chinese universities are constantly being discussed.The Curriculum,in turn,attracts the attention of educators,as it is closely connected to teaching context,teaching method,evaluation of language programs,and so on.As such programs are never perfect and always require change and adaptation to changing contexts,what is needed is critique and innovation.This paper aims at analysing the existing 2000 Curriculum and putting forward some innovations and extrapolating the educative values of these reforms.The structure of the paper consists of four major sections.It begins with an evaluation of the existing 2000 Curriculum,both the positive and the problematic aspects of the program.The second section maps out three proposed innovations: Problem-Based Learning(PBL),Task-Based Language Teaching(TBLT) and the inclusion of Chinese cultural material.I then elaborate the advantages of the reform in contrast to the existing system.The final part of the paper extrapolates the various educative values of these reforms. 展开更多

Objective:English for Specific Purpose(ESP)is the essence for developing scientific research capacity,which is a core component for postgraduate education.The objective of this article is to develop a curriculum model for ESP of Master's level nursing education in a Chinese medicine university.Method:A three-year action research approach with continuous reflection and modification was used to develop an ESP curriculum based on the RICH model.A total of 78 students of Master's Science in Nursing enrolled in 2016-2018 and three course teachers in Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine participated in the study.The ESP curriculum based on the RICH model involved research-based learning topics(R),integrated curriculum(Ⅰ),cooperative learning methods(C),and humanistic outcome(H).Results:The passing rate of the students was 100%,the excellent rate was 79.5%,with an average score of 83.16±3.43.All students were satisfied with the ESP course design and acknowledged the process of"growing up under the pressure".Four students have published five articles in the journals included by Science Citation Index(SCI).Conclusions:The study exerted a positive effect on the ESP teaching and learning and provided new ideas for the ESP curriculum integration of Master's Science in Nursing in China. 展开更多

Background: As the deep influence of traditional medical education, many undergraduate nursing colleges and universities in China still keep the traditional disease-focused curriculum system. However, it became outdated as the Chinese high nursing education developed. Meanwhile, the increasing demand of nursing human resources stimulates the enrollment expansion of colleges. All of these bring more difficulties and opportunities for nurse educators who are endeavoring to reform the undergraduate curriculum. Methods: The authors retrospectively reviewed the related literature, illustrated the existing challenges and opportunities during the curriculum renewal process in China. This paper also analyzed the ten- dencies of Chinese baccalaureate curriculum innovation. Results: Chinese current undergraduate nursing curriculum has larger proportion of basic medical courses, which brings great challenge for nursing educators. In the meantime, the expansion of enroll- ment brings conflicts with existing nursing education resources in China. Integration, humanization, internationalization and diversification are main tendencies leading the future nursing curriculum innovation in China. Conclusions: The more effective teaching innovations in the nursing education system are in great demand. 展开更多
