A network analyzer can often comprehend many protocols, which enables it to display talks taking place between hosts over a network. A network analyzer analyzes the device or network response and measures for the operator to keep an eye on the network’s or object’s performance in an RF circuit. The purpose of the following research includes analyzing the capabilities of NetFlow analyzer to measure various parts, including filters, mixers, frequency sensitive networks, transistors, and other RF-based instruments. NetFlow Analyzer is a network traffic analyzer that measures the network parameters of electrical networks. Although there are other types of network parameter sets including Y, Z, & H-parameters, these instruments are typically employed to measure S-parameters since transmission & reflection of electrical networks are simple to calculate at high frequencies. These analyzers are widely employed to distinguish between two-port networks, including filters and amplifiers. By allowing the user to view the actual data that is sent over a network, packet by packet, a network analyzer informs you of what is happening there. Also, this research will contain the design model of NetFlow Analyzer that Measurements involving transmission and reflection use. Gain, insertion loss, and transmission coefficient are measured in transmission measurements, whereas return loss, reflection coefficient, impedance, and other variables are measured in reflection measurements. These analyzers’ operational frequencies vary from 1 Hz to 1.5 THz. These analyzers can also be used to examine stability in measurements of open loops, audio components, and ultrasonics. 展开更多

The electrical energy produced must be consumed at the same time, hence the need to achieve a balance between supply and demand. Therefore, the production, transport, and distribution systems together constitute an electricity network. The distribution networks are designed to deliver energy to consumers. Unacceptable voltage drops are observed in the distribution networks of developing countries such as Burkina Faso. A study was carried out on the distribution network of the city of Bobo-Dioulasso in Burkina Faso. It allowed for experimentation with the “Megger MPQ1000” network analyzer to evaluate the quality of the voltage supplied to households. To this end, tests were carried out in a public distribution station and at a few subscribers in the Sarfalao district of the city of Bobo-Dioulasso. These tests were used to assess the percentage of voltage drops. These values, which are higher than 8% of the nominal voltage, are not regulatory. The load curves of the consumers in the district were also drawn. Indeed, the period of the high load is between 19:00 and 23:00 Local Time (LT), while the period of the medium and low load is between 00:00 and 18:00 LT. 展开更多

The simulation software, HFSS (high frequency structure simulator), is introduced in microwave oven design. In the cold test, a network analyzer is used to measure the reflection coefficient (S11) of the cavity under empty and loaded states over the frequency range from 2.448 GHz to 2.468 GHz. In the hot test, a piece of wet thermal paper and an infrared thermal imaging camera are used to measure the electric field distributions on the mica and turntable. In the cold test, the simulation agrees well with the experiment no matter in empty state or loaded state. In the hot test, the simulation agrees well with the experiment in general in empty state and approximately in loaded state. The little difference in both cold and hot test may be due to that the model in simulation is not absolutely identical with that in experiment or the inadequate precision of infrared thermal imaging camera. 展开更多

In this paper, dielectric measurements were carried out to obtain conductivity, permittivity (real and imaginary parts) and loss tangent of Dead Sea water. These dielectric properties were measured using two different methods: Vector Network Analyzer “VNA” (Dielectric Assessment Kit “DAK”) and Four Probe method, all measurements taken at room temperature (25˚C). The collected data has been analyzed in the frequency range (200 MHz - 9 GHz), by making a comparison between the measured data for Dead Sea water and distilled water, the results have shown that a huge difference in dielectric properties for the two samples. The conductivity of Dead Sea water is much larger than the conductivity of distilled water, which has been expected because of the fact of the high salinity of Dead Sea water. 展开更多

The motivation for this study was to investigate the representative volume element (RVE) needed to correlate the nondestructive electromagnetic (EM) measurements with the con- ventional destructive asphalt pavement quality control measurements. A large pavement rehabilitation contract was used as the test site for the experiment. Pavement cores were drilled from the same locations where the stationary and continuous Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) measurements were obtained. Laboratory measurements included testing the bulk density of cores using two methods, the surface-saturated dry method and determining bulk density by dimensions. Also, Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) and the through specimen transmission configuration were employed at microwave frequencies to measure the reference dielectric constant of cores using two different footprint areas and therefore vol- ume elements. The RVE for EM measurements turns out to be frequency dependent; therefore in addition to being dependent on asphalt mixture type and method of obtaining bulk density, it is dependent on the resolution of the EM method used. Then, although the average bulk property results agreed with theoretical formulations of higher core air void content giving a lower dielectric constant, for the individual cores there was no correlation for the VNA measurements because the volume element seizes deviated. Similarly, GPR technique was unable to capture the spatial variation of pavement air voids measured from the 150-mm drill cores. More research is needed to determine the usable RVE for asphalt. 展开更多
