Therefore, a comprehensive consideration of the reliability, safety and economy is particularly important for the decision of neutral grounding mode. This paper proposes a new decision method of neutral point grounding mode for mediumvoltage distribution network. The objective function is constructed for the decision according the life cycle cost. The reliability of the neutral point grounding mode is taken into account through treating the outage cost as an operating cost. The safety condition of the neutral point grounding mode is preserved as the constraint condition of decision models, so the decision method can generate the most economical and reliable scheme of neutral point grounding mode within a safe limit. The example is used to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the decision method.展开更多

The fluorescence intensity of NR increased due to the for...The fluorescence quenching of inclusion complex of neutral red (NR) and hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin (HP-β-CD) carried by chlorobenzene was investigated. The fluorescence intensity of NR increased due to the formed inclusion complex of HP-β-CD and NR. But the fluorescence intensity of NR-HP-β-CD diminished when chlorobenzene was added, and there was a linear relationship between the fluorescence quenching value of the system (△IF = IF, NR-HP-β-CD - IF, CB-NB-NR-HP-β-CD) and the concentration of chlorobenzene. Based on this, a novel fluorescence quenching method for the determination of chlorobenzene with NR as a fluorescence probe has been developed. Under the optimal conditions, the linear range of calibration curve for the determination of chlorobenzene was 5.0 × 10^-8 - 8.0 × 10^-6 mol/L and the detection limit was 1.0 × 10^-8 mol/L. It has been applied to determination ofchlorobenzene in synthetic waste water samples with satisfactory results.展开更多

It can reproduce the spectra measured in experiment. Differences of neutral particle energy spectra in higher and lower electron density plasma are discussed. Results show that the ion temperature given by neutral particle energy spectra is lower than the real ion temperature, but the deviation is within 10% if the ion temperature is less than 800 eV and thecentral chord-averaged electron density does not exceed 3 ×1013 cm-3. But for ion temperature higher than 1000 eV at the central chord-averaged density limit up to 5 ×1013 cm-3, the neutral particle energy spectra can still give the ion temperature within 10% deviation.展开更多

An algorithm involving optimization is proposed to design a controller achieving an optimal guaranteed-cost, such that, the system can be stabilized for all admissible uncertainties. The code can calculate the radial profile and energy spectrum of neutral particles in cylindrical plasmas. The calculation time of the code is dramatically reduced when the Splitting and Roulette schemes are applied. The plasma model of an infinite cylinder is assumed in the code, which is very convenient in simulating neutral particle transports in small and middle-sized tokamaks. The design of the multi-channel neutral particle analyser (NPA) on HL-2A can be optimized by using this code.展开更多

Delay differential equations (DDEs), as well as neutral delay differential equations (NDDEs), are often used as a fundamental tool to model problems arising from various areas of sciences and engineering. However, NDD...Delay differential equations (DDEs), as well as neutral delay differential equations (NDDEs), are often used as a fundamental tool to model problems arising from various areas of sciences and engineering. However, NDDEs particularly the systems of these equations are special transcendental in nature;it has therefore, become a challenging task or times almost impossible to obtain a convergent approximate analytical solution of such equation. Therefore, this study introduced an analytical method to obtain solution of linear and nonlinear systems of NDDEs. The proposed technique is a combination of Homotopy analysis method (HAM) and natural transform method, and the He’s polynomial is modified to compute the series of nonlinear terms. The presented technique gives solution in a series form which converges to the exact solution or approximate solution. The convergence analysis and the maximum estimated error of the approach are also given. Some illustrative examples are given, and comparison for the accuracy of the results obtained is made with the existing ones as well as the exact solutions. The results reveal the reliability and efficiency of the method in solving systems of NDDEs and can also be used in various types of linear and nonlinear problems.展开更多

An efficient numerical approach is presented in an algorithm to establish results so that stability of such systems is achieved and stabilizing PID parameters are determined directly. It is based on determining the rightmost characteristic roots and Nyquist plot. The Newton-Raphson’s iterative method based on Lambert W function is used for the calculation of these stabilizing roots directly from the closed-loop characteristic equation of the neutral time-delay system and then stability is checked by Nyquist plot and step response of closed-loop system. Two numerical examples are included to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.展开更多
