We aim to deepen the impression of the enterprise among consumers, enhance its market influence, and seek more opportunities for cooperation and development for the enterprise. However, with increasingly fierce market competition, traditional marketing models are no longer able to maximize their effectiveness. This article firstly analyzes the positive impact of new media background on enterprise marketing in expanding the scope of information release, improving marketing targeting, and creating new marketing platforms. Secondly, it explores the problems faced by enterprises in the current marketing process, such as outdated ideological concepts, insufficient team building, and rigid marketing content. Finally, strategies such as updating marketing concepts, strengthening team building, and innovating marketing content were proposed to provide some reference and inspiration for enterprises to smoothly promote marketing work under the background of new media. 展开更多

The current study uses a longitudinal, mixed-method approach to investigate the role that new media, such as social networking sites and video chat, play in cross-cultural adaptation and international student friendship network development. Results indicate that international students significantly increase and adapt their new media use while abroad to communicate globally with their friends and family, and locally with their newly formed relationships. Furthermore, social networking site host national friends do not necessarily lead to the development of face-to-face host national friends;however, interaction with established face-to-face host national friends and friend groups via new media platforms leads to an increased understanding of host communication patterns. Finally, this study proposes that researchers who apply Kim’s [1] cross-cultural adaptation theory consider incorporating Host New Media Communication as a principal concept. 展开更多

In VTI media,the conventional inversion methods based on the existing approximation formulas are difficult to accurately estimate the anisotropic parameters of reservoirs,even more so for unconventional reservoirs with strong seismic anisotropy.Theoretically,the above problems can be solved by utilizing the exact reflection coefficients equations.However,their complicated expression increases the difficulty in calculating the Jacobian matrix when applying them to the Bayesian deterministic inversion.Therefore,the new reduced approximation equations starting from the exact equations are derived here by linearizing the slowness expressions.The relatively simple form and satisfactory calculation accuracy make the reduced equations easy to apply for inversion while ensuring the accuracy of the inversion results.In addition,the blockiness constraint,which follows the differentiable Laplace distribution,is added to the prior model to improve contrasts between layers.Then,the concept of GLI and an iterative reweighted least-squares algorithm is combined to solve the objective function.Lastly,we obtain the iterative solution expression of the elastic parameters and anisotropy parameters and achieve nonlinear AVA inversion based on the reduced equations.The test results of synthetic data and field data show that the proposed method can accurately obtain the VTI parameters from prestack AVA seismic data. 展开更多

Chinese ferret badger(FB)-transmitted rabies is a serious threat to public health in southeast China. Although mostly associated with dogs, the rabies virus(RABV) presents genetic diversity and has a significantly wide host range in China. Instead of the dog-and wildlife-associated China ⅠI lineage in the past decades, the China Ⅰ lineage has become the main epidemic group hosted and transmitted by dogs. In this study, four new lineages, including 43 RABVs from FBs, have been classified within the dog-dominated China Ⅰ lineage since 2014. FBRABVs have been previously categorized in the China Ⅱ lineage. Moreover, FB-hosted viruses seem to have become the main independent FB-associated clade in the phylogenetic tree. This claim suggests that the increasing genetic diversity of RABVs in FBs is a result of the selective pressure from coexisting dog rabies. FB transmission has become complicated and serious with the coexistence of dog rabies. Therefore, apart from targeting FB rabies, priority should be provided by the appropriate state agencies to perform mass immunization of dog against rabies. 展开更多

The main aim of the paper is to examine the concentration of the longitudinal dispersion phenomenon arising in fluid flow through porous media. These phenomenon yields a partial differential equation namely Burger’s equation, which is solved by mixture of the new integral transform and the homotopy perturbation method under suitable conditions and the standard assumption. This method provides an analytical approximation in a rapidly convergent sequence with in exclusive manner computed terms. Its rapid convergence shows that the method is trustworthy and introduces a significant improvement in solving nonlinear partial differential equations over existing methods. It is concluded that the behaviour of concentration in longitudinal dispersion phenomenon is decreases as distance x is increasing with fixed time t > 0 and slightly increases with time t. 展开更多

This paper looks at the new media, communication, and political environment in both Tunisia and Egypt during and after the revolution. The new environment provided activists, politicians, civil society, and youth among others, who want to express their opinions and share their views, with various channels and means of corranunication to be part of the political action and to participate in the decision-making process. Social media played an important role in mobilizing youth to rally and protest. This is to say that a new model of communication has emerged with this new environment. The receiver has become the sender and the producer of the message. The process of communication, therefore, has been changed from one to many to from many to many, and everybody became sender and receiver at the same time. The main research question this paper aims to answer is: Are social networks enough to change the political and economic scene in the Arab World? And is there a relationship between the new communication environment and Arab spring? The year 2011 has been in the Arab world the year of social networks and radical changes in the political scene where a score of dictators were ousted. New political communication networks and mechanisms took place, and for the first time in Arab political communication, public opinion was a major political player. Social networks helped tremendously the formation of new public sphere where the public finds its way in the media and communication processes. At their best, new media can mobilize crowds and masses to rally and protest. They can give a social perspective to movements. However, they can't make change and implement democracy. After the collapse of the regimes in Tunisia and Egypt, things are not getting any better. The Role of New Media in Communicating to Beneficiaries of Ngos Working in Kajiado County, Kenya

Organizations serving rural communities in Kenya have found use for media as a tool of replacement for personal interface in the daily communication with the beneficiaries of their programmes in deprived areas. The interactions between two non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and rural beneficiaries in Isinya, Kajiado County, provide case studies of how NGOs modernize their outreach via new media and how beneficiaries respond to the change. The research was not only concerned with the presence of information technology (IT) and online facilities in remote and deprived locations. It also evaluated responses to the replacement of person-to-person contact with technologies, such as social media, the Internet, Compact Disc-Read Only Memory (CD-ROMs), and Digital Versatile Disc (DVDs). Conducted in four focus groups, the research evaluated the uptake of new media technologies by beneficiaries following the transition, asked whether beneficiaries engaged with the materials being communicated, and assessed whether this confluence of technology and culture had eased the flow of communication, or unsettled it. Evidence of discomfort among the older (over 50-year-old) beneficiaries stemmed from fear of failure to master the technologies and a desire for a continuation of regular interpersonal interaction with the NGO field officers (whose field trips were scaled back in preference of computer-mediated communication). However, younger (under 40-year-old) beneficiaries were less insistent on regular interpersonal visits and were appreciative of the use of technology, and of the building of Maarifa Centres to give the beneficiaries free access to internet, DVDs, and hard drive-based information materials. Another demographic, beneficiaries aged between 40 and 50 years old, said they were not comfortable with the change and wanted the interpersonal interaction to continue, but were open to a longer-term transition once the beneficiaries were all conversant with the uses of the new technologies. The study recommends a better managed transition that accommodated the beneficiaries’ fears, misgivings, and cultural preference for verbal, face-to-face consultation. 展开更多
