A New Multidimensional Time Series Forecasting Method Based on the EOF Iteration Scheme

In this paper a new .mnultidimensional time series forecasting scheme based on the empirical orthogonal function (EOF) stepwise iteration process is introduced. The scheme is tested in a series of forecast experiments of Nino3 SST anomalies and Tahiti-Darwin SO index. The results show that the scheme is feasible and ENSO predictable.

This paper compares the differences of information presentation in the straight news reports about international air disasters in ChD （China Daily） and NYT （The New York Times）. The type of straight news report is regarded as the most objective news report in the journalistic field. The purpose of this research is to find out the different journalistic cultures or orientations between Chinese and American newspapers when they report the same world event. This paper finds that ChD prefers to provide more information for the consequences of the event and reactions to it usually by making general and static statements. Dynamic Time and Location Information in Ciphertext-Policy Attribute-Based Encryption with Multi-Authorization

Due to the mobility of users in an organization,inclusion of dynamic attributes such as time and location becomes the major challenge in Ciphertext-Policy Attribute-Based Encryption(CP-ABE).By considering this challenge;we focus to present dynamic time and location information in CP-ABE with mul-ti-authorization.Atfirst,along with the set of attributes of the users,their corre-sponding location is also embedded.Geohash is used to encode the latitude and longitude of the user’s position.Then,decrypt time period and access time period of users are defined using the new time tree(NTT)structure.The NTT sets the encrypted duration of the encrypted data and the valid access time of the private key on the data user’s private key.Besides,single authorization of attribute authority(AA)is extended as multi authorization for enhancing the effectiveness of key generation.Simulation results depict that the proposed CP-ABE achieves better encryption time,decryption time,security level and memory usage.Namely,encryption time and decryption time of the proposed CP-ABE are reduced to 19%and 16%than that of existing CP-ABE scheme.

国家经济的快速发展带来了大量的劳动合同争议案件,而劳动争议案件除诉讼路径之外,调解与仲裁等ADR方式同样是解决劳动争议的重要路径。但我国调解与仲裁制度存在适用性差、调解协议效力层级低以及传统的仲裁前置程序无法满足现实需要等实际问题。我国应整合劳动争议调解组织并扩大其管辖范围,使劳动争议调解协议强制执行具备可行性。同时,加强仲裁委员会的调查取证等有关权利,扩大仲裁委员会职权范围,有利于提高仲裁委员会的公信力,从而更好地实现劳动争议诉讼分流效果,建立劳动纠纷多元化解决机制。

Improving cancer therapy by targeting cancer stem cells:Directions, challenges, and clinical results

Cancer stem cells （CSC） are a rare cell population withina tumor characterized by the ability to form tumorsfollowing injection into an immunocompromised host.While the role of CSC has been clearly established inanimal models, evidence of their clinical relevance hasbeen harder to demonstrate. A number of markers,or combination thereof, have been used to detect andmeasure, although non-specifically, CSC in almost allhuman tumors. Several pathways have been identifiedas crucial for, but not necessarily unique to, CSC surviva and proliferation, and novel agents have been designed to target such pathways. A number of such agents have entered early phase development. Further, drugs that have long been marketed for non-oncological indications have been redirected to oncology as they appear to affect one or more of such pathways. This article aims to review the available evidence on the clinical relevance of CSC from a drug development standpoint and the results of early phase clinical trials of agents interfering with the above pathways. It also discusses limitations of current clinical trial design and endpoints to demonstrate anti-CSC activity as well as possible strategies to overcome these limitations.
