This work has investigated the molecular properties of the crystals using the density functional theory to obtain the infrared spectrum of the crystal by simulation. The FTIR investigation of growing crystal has shown that the spectrum of the GSN crystal compared to simulation evaluation is similar;the only difference is in the range of 1.9% to 2.75% of wavelength peak values. The ultraviolet experimental measurement of the GSN molecule reveals the possibility of non-linear properties due to the spectrum cutoff in the wavelength peak of 301 nm. There was a significantly positive correlation between simulation and experimental assessment.展开更多

The finned tube design consists of a plain steel tube while the material for the longitudinal (axial) fins is aluminum. The investigation analyses the influence of the lateral fins on the charging and discharging process. Three-dimensional transient numerical simulations are performed using the ANSYS Fluent 14.5 software. The results show that, every obstruction given by lateral fins reduces the melting and solidification velocity in direction to the outer shell.展开更多

The hydrated ion parings, triple and multiple ion clusters in NaNO3 solution are all analogous to those in Mg(NO3)2 system except that the bi-dentate structures can not be formed. Only one solvent-shared ion paring has larger v1-NO3^- frequency than the hydrated NO3^- ion. And all triple clusters with two hydrated Na^+ ions and one NO3^- have larger v1-NO3^- frequency than the hydrated NO3^- ion. Chemical reactions of leaching and their thermodynamic probabilities are predicted based on the calculated Gibbs energies and analysis of E-pH diagrams. Experimental data, thermodynamic analysis, chemical, XRD, and SEM/EDX analyses of concentrate and the leach residues, were performed to develop a better understanding of the chemical reactions that took place in the system. Elemental sulphur was formed as the main leaching product, precipitated at the particle surfaces and tended to inhibit the leaching rate.展开更多
