Based on an iterative algorithm, the surfaces(SURF) program adds automatic points to the lattice representation of the potential function, the one-dimensional and two-dimensional PESs are calculated after reaching a convergence threshold, finally the smooth image of the potential energy surface is fitted. The PESs accurately account for the interaction between the different modes, with the mode q_(6) symmetrical stretching vibrations having the greatest effect on the potential energy change of the whole system throughout the potential energy surface shift. The anharmonic frequencies are obtained when the VCI matrix is diagonalized. Fundamental frequencies, overtones, and combination bands of NF_(3)^(+) are calculated, which generate the degenerate phenomenon between their frequencies. Finally, the calculated anharmonic frequency is used to plot the infrared spectra.Modal antisymmetric stretching ν_(5) and symmetric stretching ν_(6) exhibit a phenomenon of large-intensity borrowing. 文摘Evidence for metallization in dense oxygen has been reported for over 30 years[Desgreniers et al.,J.Phys.Chem.94,1117(1990)]at a now routinely accessible 95 GPa[Shimizu et al.,Nature 393,767(1998)].However,despite the longevity of this result and the technological advances since, the nature of the metallic phase remains poorly constrained[Akahama et al.,Phys.Rev.Lett.74,4690(1995);Goncharov et al.,Phys.Rev.B 68,224108(2003);Ma,Phys.Rev.B 76,064101(2007);and Weck et al.,Phys.Rev.Lett.102,255503(2009)].In this work, through Raman spectroscopy,we report the distinct vibrational characteristics of metallicζ-O_(2) from 85 to 225 GPa.In comparison with numerical simulations, wefind reasonable agreement with the candidate structure up to about 150 GPa.At higher pressures, the C2/mstructure is found to be unstable and incompatible with experimental observations.Alternative candidate structures, and Ci,with C2/m C2/conly two molecules in the primitive unit cell, are found to be stable and more compatible with measurements above 175 GPa,indicative of the dissociation of(O_(2))4 units.Further,we report and discuss a strong hysteresis and metastability with the precursory phaseϵ-O_(2).Thesefindings will reinvigorate experimental and theoretical work into the dense oxygen system, which will have importance for oxygen-bearing chemistry, prevalent in the deep Earth,as well as fundamental physics.

文摘Functionally graded materials(FGMs)are a novel class of composite materials that have attracted significant attention in the field of engineering due to their unique mechanical properties. This study aims to explore the dynamic behaviors of an FGM stepped beam with different boundary conditions based on an efficient solving method.Under the assumptions of the Euler-Bernoulli beam theory, the governing differential equations of an individual FGM beam are derived with Hamilton’s principle and decoupled via the separation-of-variable approach. Then, the free and forced vibrations of the FGM stepped beam are solved with the transfer matrix method(TMM).Two models,i.e.,a three-level FGM stepped beam and a five-level FGM stepped beam, are considered, and their natural frequencies and mode shapes are presented. To demonstrate the validity of the method in this paper, the simulation results by ABAQUS are also given. On this basis, the detailed parametric analyses on the frequencies and dynamic responses of the three-level FGM stepped beam are carried out.The results show the accuracy and efficiency of the TMM.

文摘As a crucial component of terrestrial ecosystems, urban forests play a pivotal role in protecting urban biodiversity by providing suitable habitats for acoustic spaces.Previous studies note that vegetation structure is a key factor influencing bird sounds in urban forests;hence, adjusting the frequency composition may be a strategy for birds to avoid anthropogenic noise to mask their songs. However,it is unknown whether the response mechanisms of bird vocalizations to vegetation structure remain consistent despite being impacted by anthropogenic noise. It was hypothesized that anthropogenic noise in urban forests occupies the low-frequency space of bird songs, leading to a possible reshaping of the acoustic niches of forests, and the vegetation structure of urban forests is the critical factor that shapes the acoustic space for bird vocalization.Passive acoustic monitoring in various urban forests was used to monitor natural and anthropogenic noises, and sounds were classified into three acoustic scenes(bird sounds, human sounds, and bird-human sounds)to determine interconnections between bird sounds, anthropogenic noise, and vegetation structure.Anthropogenic noise altered the acoustic niche of urban forests by intruding into the low-frequency space used by birds, and vegetation structures related to volume(trunk volume and branch volume)and density(number of branches and leaf area index)significantly impact the diversity of bird sounds. Our findings indicate that the response to low and high frequency signals to vegetation structure is distinct.By clarifying this relationship, our results contribute to understanding of how vegetation structure influences bird sounds in urban forests impacted by anthropogenic noise.

文摘Due to technical limitations, existing vibration isolation and energy harvesting(VIEH)devices have poor performance at low frequency. This paper proposes a new multilink-spring mechanism(MLSM)that can be used to solve this problem. The VIEH performance of the MLSM under harmonic excitation and Gaussian white noise was analyzed. It was found that the MLSM has good vibration isolation performance for low-frequency isolation and the frequency band can be widened by adjusting parameters to achieve a higher energy harvesting power.By comparison with two special cases, the results show that the MLSM is basically the same as the other two oscillators in terms of vibration isolation but has better energy harvesting performance under multistable characteristics. The MLSM is expected to reduce the impact of vibration on high-precision sensitive equipment in some special sites such as subways and mines, and at the same time supply power to structural health monitoring devices.

文摘Tuned mass damper inerter(TMDI)is a device that couples traditional tuned mass dampers(TMD)with an inertial device. The inertial device produces resistance proportional to the relative acceleration at its two ends through its“inertial”constant.Due to its unique mechanical properties,TMDI has received widespread attention and application in the past twenty years. As different configurations are required in different practical situations,TMDI is still active in the research on vibration control and energy harvesting in structures. This paper provides a comprehensive review of the research status of TMDI.This work first examines the generation and important vibration control characteristics of TMDI.Then, the energy harvesting performance of electromagnetic tuned mass damper inerter(EM-TMDI)is discussed. This work emphasizes the formation of a passive dynamic vibration absorber by coupling traditional TMD with inertial devices. This paper also summarizes the design and implementation of optimal vibration control and energy harvesting for TMDI.Furthermore, this paper details the applications of TMDI in the fields of bridges and building engineering. Finally, this paper summarizes the necessity of research on tuned mass-damper-inertia,the challenges faced currently, and future research directions, such as control of parameters in electromagnetic energy harvesting TMDI systems and low-cost TMDI.

文摘Research on discrete memristor-based neural networks has received much attention. However, current research mainly focuses on memristor–based discrete homogeneous neuron networks, while memristor-coupled discrete heterogeneous neuron networks are rarely reported. In this study,a new four-stable discrete locally active memristor is proposed and its nonvolatile and locally active properties are verified by its power-off plot and DC V–I diagram.Based on two-dimensional(2D)discrete Izhikevich neuron and 2D discrete Chialvo neuron,a heterogeneous discrete neuron network is constructed by using the proposed discrete memristor as a coupling synapse connecting the two heterogeneous neurons.Considering the coupling strength as the control parameter, chaotic firing, periodic firing, and hyperchaotic firing patterns are revealed. In particular, multiple coexisting firing patterns are observed, which are induced by different initial values of the memristor.Phase synchronization between the two heterogeneous neurons is discussed and it is found that they can achieve perfect synchronous at large coupling strength.Furthermore, the effect of Gaussian white noise on synchronization behaviors is also explored. We demonstrate that the presence of noise not only leads to the transition of firing patterns, but also achieves the phase synchronization between two heterogeneous neurons under low coupling strength.

文摘In order to study the response law of vortex-induced vibration(VIV)of marine risers under the combined action of roughness and interference effects, and to reveal the coupling mechanism of roughness and interference effects on the riser,a VIV experiment of rough risers in tandem arrangement was conducted in a wave−current combined flume. The experiment characterized the risers’roughness by arranging different specifications of attachments on the surface of the risers.Three rough risers with different roughness and smooth risers were arranged in tandem arrangement, with the rough risers arranged downstream. The experimental results indicate that the suppression of the attachments on the downstream risers’vibration are more significant both in the CF and IL directions as the reduced velocity increases. For the downstream riser, the amplitude response of rough riser is more significantly weakened compared with the smooth one at high reduced velocity. For the upstream risers, changes in the roughness and spacing ratio have an impact on their‘lock-in’region.When the roughness of downstream risers is relatively large(0.1300)and the spacing between risers is small(S/D=4.0),the reduced velocity range of‘lock-in’region in the CF direction of upstream risers is obviously expanded, and the displacement in the‘lock-in’region is severer.

文摘Combining the detached eddy simulation(DES)method and Ffowcs Williams-Hawkings(FW-H)equation,the effect of bogie cavity end wall inclination on the flow field and aerodynamic noise in the bogie region is numerically studied.First, the simulation is conducted based on a simplified cavity-bogie model, including five cases with different inclination angles of the front and rear walls of the cavity.By comparing and analyzing the flow field and acoustic results of the five cases, the influence of the regularity and mechanism of the bogie cavity end wall inclination on the flow field and the aerodynamic noise of the bogie region are revealed. Then, the noise reduction strategy determined by the results of the simplified cavity-bogie model is applied to a three-car marshaling train model to verify its effectiveness when applied to the real train. The results reveal that the forward inclination of the cavity front wall enlarges the influence area of shear vortex structures formed at the leading edge of the cavity and intensifies the interaction between the vortex structures and the front wheelset, frontmotor, and front gearbox, resulting in the increase of the aerodynamic noise generated by the bogie itself. The backward inclination of the cavity rear wall is conducive to guiding the vortex structures flow out of the cavity and weakening the interaction between the shear vortex structures and the cavity rear wall, leading to the reduction of the aerodynamic noise generated by the bogie cavity.Inclining the rear end wall of the foremost bogie cavity of the head car is a feasible aerodynamic noise reduction measure for high-speed trains.

文摘To enhance flow stability and reduce hydrodynamic noise caused by fluctuating pressure,a quasiperiodic elastic support skin composed of flexible walls and elastic support elements is proposed for fluid noise reduction. The arrangement of the elastic support element is determined by the equivalent periodic distance and quasi-periodic coefficient. In this paper,a dynamic model of skin in a fluid environment is established. The influence of equivalent periodic distance and quasi-periodic coefficient on flow stability is investigated. The results suggest that arranging the elastic support elements in accordance with the quasi-periodic law can effectively enhance flow stability.Meanwhile, the hydrodynamic noise calculation results demonstrate that the skin exhibits excellent noise reduction performance, with reductions of 10 dB in the streamwise direction,11 dB in the spanwise direction, and 10 dB in the normal direction. The results also demonstrate that the stability analysis method can serve as a diagnostic tool for flow fields and guide the design of noise reduction structures.

文摘The high-speed train transmission system, experiencing both the internal excitation originating from gear meshing and the external excitation originating from the wheel-rail interaction, exhibits complex dynamic behavior in the actual service environment. This paper focuses on the gearbox in the high-speed train to carry out the bench test,in which various operat-ing conditions(torques and rotation speeds)were set up and the excitation condition covering both internal and external was created.Acceleration responses on multiple positions of the gearbox were acquired in the test and the vibration behavior of the gearbox was studied.Meanwhile,a stochastic excitation modal test was also carried out on the test bench under different torques, and the modal parameter of the gearbox was identified. Finally, the sweep frequency response of the gearbox under gear meshing excitation was analyzed through dynamic modeling. The results showed that the torque has an attenuating effect on the amplitude of gear meshing frequency on the gearbox, and the effect of external excitation on the gearbox vibration cannot be ignored, especially under the rated operating condition. It was also found that the torque affects the modal param-eter of the gearbox significantly. The torque has a great effect on both the gear meshing stiffness and the bearing stiffness in the transmission system, which is the inherent reason for the changed modal characteristics observed in the modal test and affects the vibration behavior of the gearbox consequently.

文摘The expansion chamber serves as the primary silencing structure within the exhaust pipeline. However,it can also act as a sound-emitting structure when subjected to airflow. This article presents a hybrid method for numerically simulating and analyzing the unsteady flow and aerodynamic noise in an expansion chamber under the influence of airflow.A fluid simulation model is established, utilizing the Large Eddy Simulation(LES)method to calculate the unsteady flow within the expansion chamber. The simulation results effectively capture the development and changes of the unsteady flow and vorticity inside the cavity, exhibiting a high level of consistency with experimental observations. To calculate the aerodynamic noise sources within the cavity, the flow field results are integrated using the method of integral interpolation and inserted into the acoustic grid. The acoustic analogy method is then employed to determine the aerodynamic noise sources. An acoustic simulation model is established, and the flow noise source is imported into the sound field grid to calculate the sound pressure at the far-field response point. The calculated sound pressure levels and resonance frequencies show good agreement with the experimental results. To address the issue of airflow regeneration noise within the cavity, perforated tubes are selected as a means of noise suppression. An experimental platformfor airflow regeneration noise is constructed, and experimental samples are processed to analyze and verify the noise suppression effect of perforated tube expansion cavities under different airflow velocities. The research findings indicate that the perforated tube expansion cavity can effectively suppress low-frequency aerodynamic noise within the cavity by impeding the formation of strong shear layers. Moreover, the semi-perforated tube expansion cavity demonstrates the most effective suppression of aerodynamic noise.

文摘Potential energy surfaces(PESs), vibrational frequencies, and infrared spectra are calculated for NF_(3)^(+) using ab initio calculations, based on UCCSD(T)/cc-p VTZ combined with vibrational configuration interaction(VCI). This study can provide data to support the characterization in the laboratory.
