STUDIES ON ORGANOPHOSPHORUS COMPOUNDS 69.A NOVEL SYNTHESIS OF 5-SUBSTITUTED 3-(1'-DIETHOXYPHOSPHORYLALKYL)-2-ISOXAZOLINES

Additions of diethyl phosphite to α-nitroalkenes followed by the introduction of trimethylchlorosilane and an activated alkene, gave the corresponding title compounds via regioselective 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition in moderate yield.

NOVEL SYNTHESIS OF LONG MULTI-BLOCK HETEROPOLYMER CHAINS WITH AN ORDERED SEQUENCE AND CONTROLLABLE BLOCK LENGTHS

It had very long been a dream in polymer science to synthesize long multi-block polymer chains with an orderedchain sequence and controllable block lengths. Using ionic or living free radical polymerization or furnishing each end ofpolymer blocks with a reactive functional group, one can only prepare heteropolymer chains with few long blocks, such asdiblock and triblock copolymers. The most plausible result so far was a pentablock copolymer. Recently, using a combinationof polymer physics and synthetic chemistry, we have invented self-assembly assisted polycondensation (SAAP). Thiscommunication reports the results of using this novel. method to connect 10-100 triblock polymer chains together to formlong multi-block heteropolymer chains with an ordered sequence and controllable block lengths.

THE REGIOSELECTIVE SYNTHESIS OF NOVEL PHENYLSULFONES BEARING ISOPRENE UNITS

The facile and regioselective synthesis of some novel phenylsulfones bearing isoprene units were accomplished by using the corresponding terpenoid compounds as the starting material through ene-chlorination and phenylsulfonyl group substritution steps. The yields are excellent and the experimental conditions are very mild.

SYNTHESIS OF NOVEL TRLACETAL OXA-CAGECOMPOUNDS

Ozonolysis of compounds 3a-3e and 6 in dichlormethane at -78℃ followed by reduction with dimethylsulfide gave the novel triacetal oxa-cage compounds 5a-5e and 7 in moderate yields respectively.

A series of novel phosphonoacetic acid derivatives, N-(ethoxycarbonylmethy-ethoxyphosphonyl)-α-amino acid esters and α-amino phosphonates, were synthesized via the reaction of the corresponding phosphonyl chloride with amino acid ester hydrochlorides or amino phosphonates in the presence of a base. The preliminary bioassay shows that some compounds show significant anti-viral activity against tobacco mosaic virus (TMV)

SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF FOUR NOVEL TYPES OF MICROPOROUS BERYLLOPHOSPHATE(Ⅱ)

Four new types of microporous beryllophosphates were hydrothermally synthesized using BeO - P_2O_5- R - MCl (or MCl_2) - H_20, R being HMDA (1, b-hexanediamine), EDA (ethylenediamine), or TBAOH (tetrabutytamine hydroxide), M alkali or alkali earth cation. By means of X-ray diffraction patterns (XRD), infrared (IR), TG-DT and elemental analyses we show that the crystalline beryllopbospbates have novel, unique framework structures, composed from basic units of tetrahedral P0_4 and Be0_4. These materials exhibit zeolite-like adsorption and ion-exchange properties.

Synthesis of a Novel Copper Phthalocyanine-Fullerene Dyad

A new copper phthalocyanine-fullerene dyad (CuPc-C-60) was synthesized by Diels-Alder adduct of corresponding CuPc and C-60. The chemical structure of this compound was characterized by elemental analysis, MS, IR, UV-VIS and NMR.
