Effects of positive psychological control intervention on sleep and psychology of officers and soldiers working at sea

BACKGROUND The working environment of submarine crews is also very special.They are in a closed,high-temperature,high-noise,high-vibration and narrow working and living space for a long time,and they suffer from physical discomfort caused by seasickness,which will affect the mental health of officers and soldiers.American psychologists have achieved positive results in psychological resilience training for officers and soldiers from the perspective of positive psychology.At present,there are few reports on the correlation between psychological resilience in the field of domestic research on submarine crew psychology,and it is necessary to conduct further research.METHODS A total of 121 soldiers working in a confined space of a large ship were randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group.The 50 soldiers in the experimental group were given a training course intervention,while the 71 soldiers in the control group did not receive any intervention measures.The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index,Psychological Resilience Scale,military Psycho-logical Stress Self-Assessment Questionnaire,and General Self-Efficacy Scale scores were compared before and 6 months after the intervention.RESULTS Under the positive psychological control intervention,except for sleep efficiency(P=0.05),the difference between the remaining dimensions of the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index scores and the total scores of the experimental group compared with the control group was statistically significant(P<0.05);the assessment of the psychological condition showed that,in addition to the Psychological Stress Self-assessment Questionnaire for Military Personnel scores(P=0.05),the scores of the Mental Toughness Scale(Dispositional Resilience Scale Resilience II)in the experimental group,General Self-Efficacy Scale scores were statistically significant(P<0.05)compared to pre-intervention.CONCLUSION Positive psychological intervention and control can improve the sleep state and psychological state of officers and soldiers working in confined space at sea.

Eye on the Sky: A UAP Research and Field Study off New York’s Long Island Coast

A ten-month field research study was meticulously conducted at Robert Moses State Park (RMSP) on the south shore of Long Island, NY. The objective was to determine if aerial phenomena of an unknown nature exist over a coastal location and to characterize their properties and behaviors. Primary and secondary field observation methods were utilized in this data-centric study. Forensic engineering principles and methodologies guided the study. The challenges set forward were object detection, observation, and characterization, where multispectral electro-optical devices and radar were employed due to limited visual acuity and intermittent presentation of the phenomena. The primary means of detection utilized a 3 cm X-band radar operating in two scan geometries, the X- and Y-axis. Multispectral electro-optical devices were utilized as a secondary means of detection and identification. Data was emphasized using HF and LF detectors and spectrum analyzers incorporating EM, ultrasonic, magnetic, and RF field transducers to record spectral data in these domains. Data collection concentrated on characterizing VIS, NIR, SWIR, LWIR, UVA, UVB, UVC, and the higher energy spectral range of ionizing radiation (alpha, beta, gamma, and X-ray) recorded by Geiger-Müller counters as well as special purpose semiconductor diode sensors.

Evaluation of Mountain Land Ecological Security Based on DPSIR Model and Entropy Weight Method

In the Report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,it stated that we must put the ecological safety and green development in the first place.To achieve rural revitalization,ecological livability is the most important factor.Taking Luquan Yi and Miao Autonomous County(national level poor county)in Jinsha River valley of Yunnan Province as an example,using DPSIR(drivers,pressures,states,impacts,responses)model,this paper established an evaluation indicator system.Besides,using the entropy method,it determined the indicator weight.In addition,it evaluated the land ecological security of Luquan County since the implementation of targeted poverty alleviation policy(2013-2017)using multi-factor comprehensive evaluation method.This study shows that Luquan County has improved its ecological security in the past five years.The ecological status has gone through four stages,from sensitive state to severe state to critical safety to excellent ecology,and the value of the comprehensive index of land ecological security shows a rising trend.Through analyzing the ecological security value of each criterion hierarchy,it obtained the main factors affecting the ecological security of Luquan County.On this basis,it came up with feasible measures and recommendations for studying the ecological security of land in the region,so as to guide the rational use of land and sustainable economic development,provide a reference for the implementation of rural revitalization strategies,and promote the construction of regional ecological civilization.

Analysis and Prediction of Residents' Income Gap in Poverty-stricken Areas of Yunnan Province

Taking Ludian County in Zhaotong City of Yunnan Province for example,according to the data on residents'income gap in Ludian County during the period 2002-2011,we analyze the residents'income gap in Ludian County,and offer the forecast value of residents'income gap in Ludian County during the period 2012-2015,using Compertz curve model and Eviews software for fitting.The forecast value shows that the residents'income gap will continue to widen in Ludian County.Finally we put forth the recommendations for bridging the residents'income gap in Ludian County,in order to provide a reference for settling the problems concerning residents'income gap in other state-level povertystricken counties of Yunnan Province.

基于Landsat TM数据的若尔盖县LUCC时空特征研究

若尔盖县是世界著名若尔盖湿地的主要组成部分,是青藏高原高寒生态系统的典型代表。基于1989年、1997年和2004年3期Landsat TM影像的土地利用/土地覆被分类结果,运用地理信息系统空间分析方法和数理统计学方法,深入分析了四川省若尔盖县近15年来各土地利用/覆被类型尤其是草地和沼泽的数量和空间变化特征。结果表明:①研究区主要土地利用与土地覆被类型为草地、沼泽、林地和裸地,其中草地与沼泽面积逐步减少,而裸地面积成倍增长。②通过建立研究区LUCC幅度、LUCC数量和空间变化模型以及趋势与状态指数模型,很好的表现了研究区LUCC的时空特征。从整个区域来看,前期综合LUCC趋势和状态指数为0.37,处于准平衡状态;后期小于前期,为0.23,处于平衡状态,整个时段其指数为0.35,为准平衡状态,呈现双向转换态势。③定位分析了研究区LUCC情况,发现区域草地和沼泽退化相当严重,而且前后两期退化区在空间上有所转移。

县域乡镇街道重构的驱动机制:以T县街道设置为例

县辖街道已在中国大规模实施,且日渐成为县城建设的重要政策工具,但这一现象尚未引起学界足够关注。论文结合一个县域撤乡镇设街道的现实案例,采用“过程-事件”分析范式,力图打开基层政区改革的“黑箱”决策过程,梳理其调整动因、方案设置与决策考量,并与政区改革三重逻辑理论展开对话,以充分审视并检验乡镇街道重构的动力机制。研究发现,T县街道设置的初始动因与具体方案的设置深受经济发展、权力博弈以及政治妥协相关因素影响,直接表现为捕获以建设用地为主的关键资源,降低开发区运行的不确定性,以及获取行政等级体系中的合法性,体现出市域撤县(市)设区逻辑在县域尺度的重复再生,而与公共服务密切相关的治理因素并未成为方案设置的重要依据。乡镇改街道存在潜在风险,未来应进一步厘清县城建设、城乡融合与街道设置之间的关系,谨防县域街道设置陷入短视化误区,背离其保障城市基层公共服务供给的基本职能。

Individual and geospatial factors associated with receipt of colorectal cancer screening:a state-wide mixed-level analysis

Background Colorectal cancer(CRC)is the second leading cause of cancer death in US adults but can be reduced by screening.The roles of individual and contextual factors,and especially physician supply,in attaining universal CRC screening remains uncertain.Methods We used data from adults 50-75 years old participating in the 2018 New York(NY)Behavioural Risk Factor Surveillance System linked to county-level covariates,including primary care physician(PCP)density and gastroenterologist(GI)density.Data were analysed in 2023-2024.Our analyses included(1)ecological and geospatial analyses of county-level CRC screening prevalence and(2)individual-level Poisson regression models of receipt of screening,adjusted for socioeconomic and county-level contextual variables.Results Mean prevalence of up-to-date CRC screening was 71%(95%CI 70%to 73%)across NY’s 62 counties.County-level CRC screening demonstrated significant spatial patterning(Global Moran’s I=0.14,p=0.04),consistent with the existence of county-level contextual factors.In both county-level and individual-level analyses,lack of health insurance was associated with lower likelihood of up-to-date screening(?−1.09(95%CI−2.00 to-0.19);adjusted prevalence ratio 0.68(95%CI 0.60 to 0.77)),even accounting for age,race/ethnicity and education.In contrast,county-level densities of both PCPs and GIs were completely unassociated with screening at either the county or individual level.As expected,other determinants at the individual level included education status and age.Conclusion In this state-wide representative analysis,physician density was completely unassociated with CRC screening,although health insurance status remains strongly related.In similar screening environments,broadened insurance coverage for CRC screening is likely to improve screening far more effectively than increased physician supply.

第二次国共内战时期国统区县级财政改革及运行困境——以四川省县税捐稽征处为中心的考察

抗战胜利后,国民政府重新调整中央地方财政关系,强化县级财政能力,对县级税征机构进行了一系列调整,特别是在1947年改组税捐征收处为税捐稽征处,增强税捐稽征的专业性,试图对各类税捐实行自征;同时还裁汰部分税务人员,以缩减地方开支,但县级财政改革并未达到既定目标,在国统区的四川,反而因税征体系的调整使县税征税环境进一步恶化。战时状态下央地财权与事权分配的失衡和县级财政制度设计的缺陷是国民政府县级财政改革失败的主要原因。

政绩目标异化与基层治理结构转型

国家战略目标和政策资源输入成为促进基层治理结构转型的重要力量。而基层(县域)体制的能动性使得国家权力在基层的作用发生转向。在此背景下,县域体制主导基层治理体系的核心地位进一步强化,县乡村层级一体化,基层体制支配乡村社会的能力增强;基层治理规则和方式趋于行政化,科层主导的项目资源分配超脱于乡村社会层面,治理形态呈现出去公共性、弱社会动员、泛体制化等特征。国家推进涉农战略落地强化了农民政治认同和绩效合法性。但项目下乡产生了异化现象,使其并不能够有效渗透和建构新的基层社会利益关系与秩序,也难以激活基层社会层面的政治参与、村民自治和民主协商。因而基层治理结构进一步体制化,国家涉农政策的绩效合法性也随之受到影响。

全面抗战时期湖南醴陵基层警察薪饷状况研究

在民国时期的薪饷制度设计上,警察官与基层警察间存在巨大鸿沟。由于警长警士薪饷依地方酌量财政状况而定,因而薪饷普遍低微。全面抗战爆发后,湖南醴陵因身处大后方,其警察局得以扩充。然战时醴陵基层警察薪饷始终未能合乎法定标准,考其缘由,经费拮据乃其要因,此实民国困窘财政状况使然。薪饷低微固难以吸引优秀人才进入基层警察行业,已入职之长警亦不安心本职,逃警现象时有发生,在影响基层警察队伍素质同时,对基层社会治安亦产生不利影响。

山西阳曲狼孟古城考古调查简报

狼孟古城,位于太原市阳曲县黄寨镇北,是阳曲地区最早的城池之一。本次考古调查,对现存古城遗迹进行了全面了解,第一次在山西找到确定的汉代的角楼和马面遗址,城中遗址出土遗物说明该古城建设于战国时期,北朝时期仍在使用,证实了史书中战国时期赵国在此设置狼孟邑的记载。
