Objective:To investigate and analyze the clinical efficacy of Huanglian ointment in the treatment of chronic eczema.Methods:114 cases of chronic eczema patients admitted to the Department of Dermatology of our hospita...Objective:To investigate and analyze the clinical efficacy of Huanglian ointment in the treatment of chronic eczema.Methods:114 cases of chronic eczema patients admitted to the Department of Dermatology of our hospital from January 2023 to January 2024 were selected as the study subjects.They were divided into a study group(n=57)and a reference group(n=57)using the double-blind method.The study group was treated with dialyzed Huanglian ointment,while the reference group was treated with conventional treatment.Symptom scores,inflammatory levels,treatment effects,and immune indexes of the two groups were similar before treatment.Results:After treatment,the symptom scores of the study group were significantly lower than those in the reference group(P<0.05).Besides,the interleukin-2(IL-2),tumor necrosis factor-a(TNF-a),interferon-(IFN-),and other inflammatory indicators of the study group were significantly better than those of the reference group(P<0.05).The total efficacy of treatment in the study group was significantly higher than that in the reference group(P<0.05).Furthermore,after treatment,the immunity indexes such as CD3+,CD4+,and CD8+of the study group were significantly better than those of the reference group,(P<0.05).Conclusion:Huanglian ointment is extremely effective for treating chronic eczema so this treatment program should be popularized.展开更多

[Method] The conventional method and medium dilution method were used for bacterial, mold and yeast counting in sample recovery test. [Result] The medium dilution method (1:10 test solution, 0.5 ml/plate) could effectively eliminate the inhibition effect of the Bupi Qiangli Ointment, and the recovery of Staphylococcus aureus was greater than 70% in the 3 batches of samples; and the conventional method exhibited the recoveries of E. coil, Bacillus subtilis, Candida albicans and Aspergillus greater than 70% in the 3 batches of samples. [Conclusion] Due to Bupi Qiangli Ointment has strongly antibacterial effect on Staphylococcus au- reus, the medium dilution method was used for bacterial counting, and the conventional method was used for mold and yeast counting; and the conventional method was used for controlled bacterium examination of E. coll.展开更多
Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of sodium fusidate ointment and mupirocin ointment in the treatment of bacteria-infected skin disease.Methods:The search terms“sodium fusidate ointment”,“mupirocin oint...Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of sodium fusidate ointment and mupirocin ointment in the treatment of bacteria-infected skin disease.Methods:The search terms“sodium fusidate ointment”,“mupirocin ointment”,“bacterial infection”,etc.were searched in the database of PubMed,EMbase,Cochrane,Web of Science,Wanfang,VIP,and CNKI.The search time was from inception to November 2019.Randomized controlled trials of sodium fusidate ointment and mupirocin ointment for the treatment of bacteria-infected skin disease were collected.Two studies independently performed literature screening,data extraction,and literature quality evaluation.Meta analysis was performed using RevMan 5.3 software.Results:A total of 14 literature were included,involving 1,825 patients,916 in the experimental group,and 909 in the control group.Meta analysis results showed that the total clinical effective rate of the experimental group(RR=1.12,95%CI(1.06,1.19),P<0.0001),degree of improvement in pruritus score(MD=−1.21,95%CI(−1.78,−0.64),P<0.0001),degree of improvement of eczema area and severity index score(MD=−2.47,95%CI(−3.92,−1.02),P=0.0008),and sensitivity rate of drug sensitivity test(RR=1.35,95%CI(1.24,1.46),P<0.00001)were better than those of control group.The incidence of adverse reactions(RR=0.18,95%CI(0.09,0.39),P<0.00001)was significantly smaller than that of control group.But the bacterial clearance rate(RR=1.22,95%CI(0.98,1.52),P=0.08)compared with the control group,the difference was not statistically significant.Conclusion:Sodium fusidate ointment is better than mupirocin ointment in the treatment of bacteria-infected skin disease,and it helps to improve the severity of disease and itching,and has good safety,which is worthy of clinical promotion.展开更多
Objective:To study the effects of Traditional Chinese Medicine Jianpi Chushi decoction and ointment on chronic eczema.Methods:DNCB acetone solution was used to sensitize the skin of back and ears of 36 rats in order t...Objective:To study the effects of Traditional Chinese Medicine Jianpi Chushi decoction and ointment on chronic eczema.Methods:DNCB acetone solution was used to sensitize the skin of back and ears of 36 rats in order to establish chronic eczema model.A total of 36 rats were divided into four groups of 9 randomly including oral medicine group,external inunctum group,combination therapy group,and model control group respectively.Besides,the blank group of 4 healthy rats were set.The oral medicine group was given Traditional Chinese Medicine Jianpi Chushi decoction [(Poria cocos,Chinese yam,Cortex dictamni,Zaocys dhumnade,Rhizoma atractylodis,Pericarpium citri reticulatae,Scutellaria baicalensis,Radix Sophorae Flavescentis,Raw Radix Paeoniae Alba,Licorice roots(Northwest Origin)] by gastric infusion(1.6 g/m L·5 m L/d); the external inunctum group was given Qingpeng ointment on the skin,the combination therapy group was given Jianpi Chushi decoction by gastric infusion and Qingpeng ointment combination therapy.The model control group was given normal saline(NS) of the same volume by gastric infusion and vaseline on skin.Continuous administration 15 d and stopped for 3 d.The thickness difference and weight difference of left and right ear of every group were measured and the degree of ear swelling were evaluated.The CD4^+ and CD8^+ content and the IL-2,IL-4 level of serum were detected,and the inflammatory cells counts of back skin were recorded.Results:After treatment,the degree of ear swelling of oral medicine group,external inunctum group and combination therapy group significant decreased compared with model control group(P<0.05).The CD4^+,CD8^+ cell content and IL-2 level of oral medicine group,external inunctum group,combination therapy group and model control group significant decreased compared with blank group,and IL-2 level and the inflammatory cells count increased.After 15 d of treatment,the CD4^+,CD8^+ cell content and IL-2 level of serum of oral medicine group,external inunctum group and combination therapy group raised and the IL-4 level and the inflammatory cells count had significant decreased compared with model control group,and the effect of combination therapy group was more obvious(P<0.05).Conclusions:Qral Jianpi Chushi decoction could treat chronic eczema effectively,and oral Chinese medicine combined with ointment could enhance and speed up the efficacy.展开更多
BACKGROUND Aplasia cutis congenita (ACC) in newborns is a condition in which congenital defects or hypoplasia is present in part of the epidermis,dermis and even subcutaneous tissue (including muscle and bones).First ...BACKGROUND Aplasia cutis congenita (ACC) in newborns is a condition in which congenital defects or hypoplasia is present in part of the epidermis,dermis and even subcutaneous tissue (including muscle and bones).First reported by Cordon in 1767,ACC is a rare disease with a low incidence of 1/100000 to 3/10000.Currently,there are 500 cases reported worldwide.ACC can be accompanied by other malformations.The onset mechanism of the disease remains unknown but is thought to be correlated to factors such as genetics,narrow uterus,foetal skin and amniotic membrane adhesion,use of teratogenic drugs in early pregnancy and viral infection.CASE SUMMARY In August 2018,we treated a newborn with ACC on the left lower limbs using a combination of ionic silver dressing and moist exposed burn ointment (MEBO) and achieved a satisfactory treatment outcome.The skin defects were observed on the external genitals and on areas from the left foot to 3/4 of the upper left side.Subcutaneous tissue and blood vessels were observed in the regions with skin defects.The following treatments were provided.First,the wound was rinsed with 0.9% sodium chloride solution followed by disinfection with povidone-iodine twice.And then MEBO was applied to the wound at a thickness of approximately 1 mm.After applying ionic silver dressing,the wound was covered with sterile gauze.The wound dressing was replaced every 2-3 d.At the 4-mo follow-up,the treatment outcome was satisfactory.There was minimal scar tissue formation,and limb function was not impaired.CONCLUSION The combination of ionic silver dressing and MEBO to ACC is helpful.展开更多

It has been confirmed by basic pharmacodynamic experiments that Baimai ointment has some therapeutic effects on stroke. However, the detailed evaluations of Baimai ointment on clinically treating stroke patients for function recovery are still insufficient with little reports. OBJECTIVE: To observe the efficiency and safety of Baimai ointment on alleviating hypermyotonia following cerebral infarction DESIGN: A randomized, parallel and controlled experiment. SETTING: Department of Neurology, Beijing Aerospace General Hospital. PARTICIPANTS: A total of 120 patients with acute front-cycle cerebral infarction were selected from Department of Neurology, Beijing Aerospace General Hospital from July to December 2006 and met the diagnosis criteria modified by Forth National Seminar on Cerebrovascular Disease. The experiment had got confirmed consent from local ethic committee. All 120 patients with cerebral infarction were randomly divided into experimental group (n =80; 32 in the acute phase, 32 in the recovery phase and 16 in the sequela phase) and control group (n =40; 16 in the acute phase, 16 in the recovery phase and 8 in the sequela phase). METHODS: Within 4 weeks after the patients were enrolled in this study, no other traditional Chinese medicines containing similar components were adopted besides routine supporting therapy. The Baimai ointment being consisted of jianghuang, Roudoukou, Gansong, Yangqishi, Gancao, She, shannai, Zanghuixiang, Zangchangpu, Huajiao and dianhua was used by trial group (20 g/ampoule, Tibet Lingzhiqizheng Tibetan Drug Factory; batch number: 050403), 2-3 times per day, the ointment was moderately coated traveling parts of Baimai. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The evaluation of National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Modified Rankin Scale and Modified Ashworth Scale were performed before administration, 2 and 4 weeks after administration. RESULTS: All 120 patients with acute front-cycle cerebral infarction were involved in the final analysis. ① Evaluation of therapeutic effects: After 4 weeks, the comparison of overall muscular tension and muscular tension in acute phase between the two groups (acute phase, chronic phase and recovery phase) demonstrated that the experimental group improved significantly (Z = - 2.25, - 2.06, P 〈 0.05). After 2 weeks, the change of muscular tension was not significantly different from baseline (P 〉 0.05). Whereas after 4 weeks, the change of muscular tension in acute phase was significantly different from baseline (P 〈 0.05); however, the change of muscular tension in recovery phase and sequelae phase was not significantly different from baseline (P 〉 0.05). After the treatment, the overall NIHSS and disability score of both groups did not change significantly (P 〉 0.05). ② Adverse reaction and side effect: There were two adverse events in experimental groups. One patient underwent petechia, and the symptom disappeared following stopping medication which did not reappear after remedication. The other patient complained of a pain coming from the place where the medication was used, and the symptom went away without treatment. Two cases of adverse events were not significantly correlated with the usage of medication, so both of which could not be confirmed to be adverse reactions. CONCLUSION: Baimai ointment achieves some therapeutic effects on treating hypermyotonia of cerebral infarction patients, especially significantly preventing the hypermyotonia in acute phase with good safety.展开更多
BACKGROUND The most effective treatment for knee joint pain is total knee arthroplasty(TKA),but the risk of pain and swelling in patients after surgery is high.Ice application,ankle pump exercise and non-steroidal ant...BACKGROUND The most effective treatment for knee joint pain is total knee arthroplasty(TKA),but the risk of pain and swelling in patients after surgery is high.Ice application,ankle pump exercise and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory painkillers are the primary clinical treatments after surgery.However,long-term use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory pain relievers can easily cause gastrointestinal damage.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)ointments and tuina therapy integrate TCM and manipulation,which effectively promotes the penetration of TCM into the skin lesions,improves local blood circulation and inflammatory reaction and has good long-term effects on patients.AIM To evaluate the efficacy of TCM ointment combined with tuina therapy in the treatment of pain and swelling after TKA.METHODS The randomized controlled clinical trial enrolled 80 patients who underwent TKA via the same procedure.The patients were randomly divided among the treatment group(n=40)and the control group(n=40).The control group was given an analgesia pump in addition to oral painkillers as the postoperative intervention.The treatment group received TCM ointment with tuina therapy in addition to the analgesia pump and oral painkillers in the postoperative period.The following variables were recorded 3 d before surgery and 3 d,7 d and 14 d after surgery:Visual analogue scale(VAS)score;skin temperature;circumferences at 15 cm above and below the patella;maximum active knee flexion angle;and the knee injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome score(KOOS).RESULTS After treatment,VAS was significantly lower in the treatment group than the control group at 7 d(t=7.536,P<0.001)and 14 d(t=8.563,P<0.001).The skin temperature of participants in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group at 7 d(t=2.968,P=0.004)and 14 d(t=4.423,P<0.001).The circumference values of the two positions in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group at 7 d[t=2.315,P=0.023(above);t=2.121,P=0.037(below)]and 14 d[t=2.374,P=0.020(above);t=2.095,P=0.039(below)].After 14 d of treatment,the maximum active knee flexion angle and KOOS of the two groups were significantly improved but were significantly higher in the treatment group(P<0.05 for both).CONCLUSION TCM ointment and tuina therapy have significant advantages over standard care in the treatment of pain and swelling after TKA.This additional treatment may improve knee function but additional studies are needed to confirm our observations.展开更多

Subsequently, the organosulfur compound, bis-...The copper-coated iron oxide nanoparticles with core-shell were produced by deposition of a Cu shell on Fe3 O4 NPs through reduction of Cu2 tions in solution using NaB H4. Subsequently, the organosulfur compound, bis-(2,4,4-trimethylpentyl)-dithiophosphinic acid(b-TMP-DTPA), was used to form self-assembled monolayer in order to modify sorbent's surface via covalent bonding between Cu and thiol(–SH)terminal groups. The prepared magnetic nanoparticles were characterized by using Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR) spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy(SEM), transmission electron microscope(TEM), vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM) and thermo gravimetric analysis(TGA). Then, the application of this new sorbent was investigated to extract the steroid drugs in ointment samples with the aid of ultrasound. An external magnetic field was applied to collect the magnetic nanoparticles(MNPs). The extracted analytes were desorbed using acetonitrile. The obtained extraction solution was analyzed by HPLC-UV. The main affecting factors on the extraction efficiency including p H, sonication time, amount of sorbent, salt concentration, and desorption conditions were optimized in detail. Under the optimum conditions, good linearity was obtained in the range of 2.5–250.0 mg/L with reasonable linearity(R24 0.99) and the limits of detection(LODs) ranged between 0.5 and 1.0 mg/L(based on S/N ? 3).Repeatability(intra-day precision) based on five replicates and preconcentration factors were calculated to be 3.6%–4.7% and 87–116, respectively. Relative recoveries in ointment samples at two spiked levels of the target analytes were obtained in the range of 90.0%–103.2%. The results illustrated that the Fe3 O4@Cu@ b-TMP-DTPA NPs have the capability of extraction of steroid drugs from ointment samples.展开更多

Methods: Totally 50 KM mice were randomly divided into five groups, which were negative control group ,positive control group, high, middle and low dose groups of Callicarpa nudiflora ointment. Mice ear swelling test was conducted to investigate the effect of Callicarpa nudiflora induced by xylene, Bacteriostasis experiments were conducted to observe the bacteriostasis effects of Callicarpa nudiflora on five indicator bacteria, i.e. Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Candida albicans, Bacillus subtilis, and Staphylococcus aureus in vitro. A total of 30 new zealand white rabbit with half male and half female were randomly divided into five groups, which were negative control group, positive control group, high, middle and low groups of Callicarpa nudiflora ointment. The rabbits were treated with sterilizing blade and treated with external medicine to observe the effect of the extracts from Callicarpa nudiflora on wound healing. Orthogonal test was used to determine the preparation method of Callicarpa nudiflora ointment,Physical properties, centrifugal stratification test, heat and cold resistance test were conducted. Results:Bacteriostasis experiments in vitro showed high dose group of Callicarpa nudiflora extracts got 16.8 cm antimicrobial zone of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The experimental results showed that the ear swelling degree of mice induced by xylene was significantly reduced in the middle and high dose groups. All the treatment groups could promote skin healing of rabbit significantly compared with negative control group. There were significantly differences between all the treatment groups and negative control group on the wound healing rate. The optimum preparation process was determined by orthogonal screening test. The optimal formula was as follows: Twain-801.2 g, glycerin monostearate 4.7 g, glycerinum 0.9 g, liquid paraffin 10.8 g, Span801.4 g,solid paraffin 1.4 g,vaseline 0.9 g. The emulsification temperature was 65 ℃,and emulsification time was 25 min. Conclusions: The extract of Callicarpa nudiflora can be used as external preparation and the preparation is in compliance with Chinese pharmacopoeia 2015.展开更多

BD-loaded NLC was ...The purpose of this study was to design an innovative topical ointment containing betamethasone dipropionate loaded nanostructured lipid carrier (BD-NLC) for the treatment of atopic dermatitis (AD). BD-loaded NLC was produced with precirol ATO 5 and oleic oil (OA) by melt emulsification method. Effects of surfactant concentration, amount of solid lipid and liquid lipid on skin retention and skin penetration were investigated by in vitro percutaneous permeation experiment. The optimized BD-NLC showed a homogeneous particle size of 169.1 nm (with PI = 0.195), negatively charged surface (-23.4 mV) and high encapsulation efficiency (85%). Particle morphology assessed by TEM revealed a spherical shape. In vitro skin permeation study was carried out to investigate the percutaneous behaviors of W/O ointment with BD-NLC and Carbopol emulgel ointment with BD-NLC. W/O ointment with BDNLC showed high skin retention (35.43 μg/g) and low penetration (0.87 μg/ml). In vitro drug release studies were carried out to demonstrate the drug releasing properties of the two ointments. W/O ointment with BD-NLC showed an advantage for skin retention as it was better for drug release. The tissue distribution test suggested that BD distribution was skin > muscle > blood. Self-made topical ointment in mice showed no skin irritation. The animal experiments indicated that BD-loaded NLC ointment was effective and safe for topical use.展开更多

If left untreated may lead to infection or thrombus formation. Early detection and appropriate interventions reduce the occurrence and severity of cannula related phlebitis. Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of magnesium sulphate with glycerin dressing as compared to heparinoid ointment application on management of peripheral cannula induced phlebitis. Materials and Methods: A Quasi-experimental design was carried among admitted patients in Medical-Surgical Units of BPKIHS. Out among 50 admitted patients with cannula induced phlebitis. Simple random sampling technique was used to allocate the wards to each interventional group and purposive sampling technique to select samples where instruments baseline Performa and observation scale was used to collect data. Results: The study findings revealed significantly reduction of phlebitis score after 48 hours of treatment with both interventions. Thus it was concluded that both the applications were effective in reducing level of phlebitis. Regarding effectiveness, there was a statistically significant difference in phlebitis score in both experimental groups after comparison baseline within 8, 16, 32, 40, 48 hours of administration of intervention (P = 0.05). The mean visual infusion scale score was more in MSG group as compared with that of HPA group. It shows that there is more reduction of VIP score in Magnesium sulphate with glycerin (MSG) group. Conclusion: In the research, study findings revealed that Magnesium sulphate with glycerin dressing is more effective than heparinoid ointment on management of peripheral cannula induced phlebitis.展开更多

Objectve:To investigate the effect and mechanism of Hai Tongpi decoction ointment on analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects in mice after transdermal administration.Methods:The hot plate method and the acetic acid wr...Objectve:To investigate the effect and mechanism of Hai Tongpi decoction ointment on analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects in mice after transdermal administration.Methods:The hot plate method and the acetic acid writhing experiment were used to verify the analgesic effect of Hai tong-pi extract on pain model mice;the xylene-induced auricular swelling model and the carrageenan-induced right foot swelling model were used,combined with the ELISA method to determine the analgesic effect.The levels of TNF-α,IL-1βand IL-6 in the serum of mice were observed.Anti-inflammatory effect of Haitongpi Tang decoction ointment on inflammation model mice.Results:In terms of analgesia,compared with the model group,both the treatment group 1 and the treatment group 2 can significantly prolong the hot plate pain threshold and the latency of the writhing response(P<0.05),and significantly reduce the writhing in the mice.The number of times(P<0.001),and the effect of process 1 is more obvious(P<0.05);In terms of antiinflammatory,compared with the blank group,the swelling degree and swelling rate of the right hind paw of the mice in the model group were significantly increased(P<0.01),indicating that the acute inflammation model was successfully established in the mice.Compared with the model group,both the process group 1 and the process group 2 can significantly reduce the swelling degree and swelling rate of the mice feet(P<0.05),and reduce the auricle swelling degree of the mice,and increase the swelling inhibition rate(P<0.05),and the effective effect of process 1 group was more significant(P<0.05).At the same time,compared with the blank group,the contents of TNF-α,IL-1βand IL-6 in the model group were significantly increased(P<0.01).Compared with the process group 2,the process group 1 had a more significant decrease in the content of IL-1β(P<0.05),and IL-6 content of the two had no statistical difference(P>0.05).Conclusion:The Hai tong-pi decoction ointment prepared by two different processes have good analgesic and antiinflammatory effects on mice after transdermal administration.inflammatory cytokine expression.The anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect of process group 1 was better than that of process group 2,which may be related to the separate extraction and storage of volatile oil of traditional Chinese medicine,which ensured the long-term pharmacological activity of volatile oil.展开更多
[Objectives]This study aimed to study the sleep-improving effect of Anshen Babu ointment on insomnia mice and its mechanism of action.[Methods]Mouse models of insomnia were established by p-chlorophenylalanine(PCPA)in...[Objectives]This study aimed to study the sleep-improving effect of Anshen Babu ointment on insomnia mice and its mechanism of action.[Methods]Mouse models of insomnia were established by p-chlorophenylalanine(PCPA)injection.They were given high,middle and low doses of Anshen Babu ointment,for 7 consecutive days,and then,the spontaneous activity of insomnia mice and the effect on hypnotic time and subthreshold hypnotic dose of pentobarbital sodium were observed,and the levels of 5-HT,IL-6 and TNF-α in the hippocampus of mice were determined.[Results]High and middle-dose Anshen Babu ointment significantly reduced the spontaneous activity of insomnia mice and shorten the hypnotic time of pentobarbital sodium;high and middle-dose Anshen Babu ointment increased the 5-HT content and inhibited the IL-6 and TNF-α expression in the hippocampus of mice.[Conclusions]Anshen Babu ointment has hypnotic and sedative effect on insomnia mice.The mechanism may be achieved by increasing 5-HT and reducing IL-6 and TNF-α levels.展开更多
Objective:To study the effect of Baiban Ointment on gene expression profile of vulvar lichen sclerosus before and after treatment,and to provide theoretical basis for the early diagnosis and clinical treatment of vulv...Objective:To study the effect of Baiban Ointment on gene expression profile of vulvar lichen sclerosus before and after treatment,and to provide theoretical basis for the early diagnosis and clinical treatment of vulvar lichen sclerosus.Methods:Nine patients with vulvar lichen sclerosus diagnosed pathologically were selected as the study object,and the Baiban ointment was applied locally for 3 months.Gene chip technology was used to detect the vulva skin tissue in the same area before and after treatment,and the peripheral normal skin was used as the normal control group to analyze the change of gene expression profile.FC and P values were used as research indicators,and the standard of differential expression was FC value≥1.5,P value<0.05.The differentially expressed genes were screened,and GO analysis and KEGG database gene pathway analysis were carried out.Results:Compared with the normal control group,there were 22 differentially expressed genes in Group A before treatment,of which 21 were up-regulated and 1 was down regulated;compared with Group B before treatment,there were 23 differentially expressed genes,all of which were up regulated.The differentially expressed genes related to Baiban ointment treatment included TBK1、STAT1、ITGAM、VCAN、PRKACB、PROM1、PLAT、SERPINA1.Go analysis showed that the up-regulated differential genes were mainly concentrated in the extracellular exosome,cytosol,extracellular space,Golgi apparatus and other cellular component,using the biological process such as positive regulation of cell metabolism,signal transduction regulation,cell adhesion,etc.,to play a role in protein binding,enzyme activity regulation and other molecular functions.KEGG signaling pathway showed that the differentially expressed genes were significantly enriched in Toll like receptor signaling pathway,Nod like receptor signaling pathway and Fc RI signaling pathway,all of which were up-regulated signaling pathways.Among them,Toll like receptor signaling pathway and Nod like receptor signaling pathway are most closely related to the disease.Conclusion:Baiban ointment may play a role in regulating metabolism,inflammation and immune response by regulating the expression of related genes,affecting the signal transduction such as Toll like receptor signal pathway.The pathway and the genes screened in this study will provide a direction for the future study of this disease.展开更多
Objective:To discuss the main active components and potential mechanisms of moist burn ointment in the treat-ment of diabetic ulcer were discussed by network pharmacology and molecular docking technology.Methods:Based...Objective:To discuss the main active components and potential mechanisms of moist burn ointment in the treat-ment of diabetic ulcer were discussed by network pharmacology and molecular docking technology.Methods:Based on the TC-MSP database,the main active components and targets of MEBO were screened.The targets related to diabetic ulcers were searched from GeneCards,OMIM,PharmGkb,TTD,and DrugBank databases.The STRING 11.5 database was used to con-struct a protein-protein interaction(PPI)network to screen the core targets.The'drug-target-disease'network diagram was made in Cytoscape 3.8.2 software to screen the core active components.GO enrichment analysis and KEGG pathway enrichment analysis were performed using R language software.Finally,molecular docking was used to preliminarily verify the screening results.Results:A total of 37 active components of MEBO were screened to map 100 targets,5527 targets for diabetic ulcer dis-ease,and 77 intersection targets.PPI network topology analysis suggested that TP53,TNF,HSP90AA1 and other targets were key targets;the network diagram of ‘drug-target-disease’showed that acacetin,wogonin,quercetin,and rutaecarpine were the core active ingredients.GO function analysis mainly involved angiogenesis,ion transport,diameter regulation,cytokine receptor binding,and other processes.KEGG enrichment analysis mainly included PI3K-Akt,AGE-RAGE,and other signaling pathways.Molecular docking showed that the core active ingredients and key targets had good docking activity.Conclusion:The treatment of diabetic ulcer with MEBO is the result of multi-component,multi-target,and synergistic regulation,which provides a theoretical basis for the clinical application of MEBO and the treatment of diabetic ulcer.展开更多

Method: SD rat model with acute skin injury were randomly divided into groups. The experimental group was treated with external application of Zizhu ointment, and the control group was given external saline. The wound healing rate of the two groups was compared at 4d, 7d, 14d and 21d after trauma. The morphology of wounds was observed by HE staining, and the autophagosomes of wounds were observed by transmission electron microscopy. Expression and changes of autophagy marker proteins Beclin-1 and LC3 were detected by immunohistochemistry and WB assay. Result: Compared with the control group, experimental group had a high healing rate, a short healing time, and a faster epithelialization rate. Under the electron microscope, autophagosomes of experimental group were reduced, and the expression of LC3 and Beclin-1 was significantly decreased. Conclusion: Zizhu ointment may promote wound healing by inhibiting autophagy activity of cells.展开更多

文摘[Objectives]Using wild-type AB strain of zebrafish as experimental animal,this study investigated the damaging effect of Wufang Babu Ointment on skin cells,in order to evaluate the skin toxicity of Wufang Babu Ointment.[Methods]Wild-type AB strain of zebrafish with an age of 2 d were taken and fed in different concentrations of Wufang Babu Ointment solution for 24 h.The number of deaths in each group of zebrafish was recorded,and the mortality rate was calculated.Using Origin 8.0 software,the maximum non lethal concentration(MNLC)was simulated.Zebrafish raised in different concentrations of Wufang Babu Ointment solution for 24 h were placed under an anatomical microscope for taking photos,to analyze and calculate the incidence of skin damage in zebrafish.Based on the statistical analysis results of this indicator,the skin toxicity of Wufang Babu Ointment was evaluated.[Results]The MNLC of Wufang Babu Ointment on zebrafish was 671μg/mL;Wufang Babu Ointment can induce skin damage at the concentrations of 224μg/mL(1/3 MNLC)and 671μg/mL(MNLC).[Conclusions]Wufang Babu Ointment had certain skin toxicity to zebrafish.
文摘Objective:To investigate and analyze the clinical efficacy of Huanglian ointment in the treatment of chronic eczema.Methods:114 cases of chronic eczema patients admitted to the Department of Dermatology of our hospital from January 2023 to January 2024 were selected as the study subjects.They were divided into a study group(n=57)and a reference group(n=57)using the double-blind method.The study group was treated with dialyzed Huanglian ointment,while the reference group was treated with conventional treatment.Symptom scores,inflammatory levels,treatment effects,and immune indexes of the two groups were similar before treatment.Results:After treatment,the symptom scores of the study group were significantly lower than those in the reference group(P<0.05).Besides,the interleukin-2(IL-2),tumor necrosis factor-a(TNF-a),interferon-(IFN-),and other inflammatory indicators of the study group were significantly better than those of the reference group(P<0.05).The total efficacy of treatment in the study group was significantly higher than that in the reference group(P<0.05).Furthermore,after treatment,the immunity indexes such as CD3+,CD4+,and CD8+of the study group were significantly better than those of the reference group,(P<0.05).Conclusion:Huanglian ointment is extremely effective for treating chronic eczema so this treatment program should be popularized.

文摘[Objective] This study was conducted to establish a microbial limit test method for Bupi Qiangli Ointment. [Method] The conventional method and medium dilution method were used for bacterial, mold and yeast counting in sample recovery test. [Result] The medium dilution method (1:10 test solution, 0.5 ml/plate) could effectively eliminate the inhibition effect of the Bupi Qiangli Ointment, and the recovery of Staphylococcus aureus was greater than 70% in the 3 batches of samples; and the conventional method exhibited the recoveries of E. coil, Bacillus subtilis, Candida albicans and Aspergillus greater than 70% in the 3 batches of samples. [Conclusion] Due to Bupi Qiangli Ointment has strongly antibacterial effect on Staphylococcus au- reus, the medium dilution method was used for bacterial counting, and the conventional method was used for mold and yeast counting; and the conventional method was used for controlled bacterium examination of E. coll.
文摘Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of sodium fusidate ointment and mupirocin ointment in the treatment of bacteria-infected skin disease.Methods:The search terms“sodium fusidate ointment”,“mupirocin ointment”,“bacterial infection”,etc.were searched in the database of PubMed,EMbase,Cochrane,Web of Science,Wanfang,VIP,and CNKI.The search time was from inception to November 2019.Randomized controlled trials of sodium fusidate ointment and mupirocin ointment for the treatment of bacteria-infected skin disease were collected.Two studies independently performed literature screening,data extraction,and literature quality evaluation.Meta analysis was performed using RevMan 5.3 software.Results:A total of 14 literature were included,involving 1,825 patients,916 in the experimental group,and 909 in the control group.Meta analysis results showed that the total clinical effective rate of the experimental group(RR=1.12,95%CI(1.06,1.19),P<0.0001),degree of improvement in pruritus score(MD=−1.21,95%CI(−1.78,−0.64),P<0.0001),degree of improvement of eczema area and severity index score(MD=−2.47,95%CI(−3.92,−1.02),P=0.0008),and sensitivity rate of drug sensitivity test(RR=1.35,95%CI(1.24,1.46),P<0.00001)were better than those of control group.The incidence of adverse reactions(RR=0.18,95%CI(0.09,0.39),P<0.00001)was significantly smaller than that of control group.But the bacterial clearance rate(RR=1.22,95%CI(0.98,1.52),P=0.08)compared with the control group,the difference was not statistically significant.Conclusion:Sodium fusidate ointment is better than mupirocin ointment in the treatment of bacteria-infected skin disease,and it helps to improve the severity of disease and itching,and has good safety,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
文摘Objective:To study the effects of Traditional Chinese Medicine Jianpi Chushi decoction and ointment on chronic eczema.Methods:DNCB acetone solution was used to sensitize the skin of back and ears of 36 rats in order to establish chronic eczema model.A total of 36 rats were divided into four groups of 9 randomly including oral medicine group,external inunctum group,combination therapy group,and model control group respectively.Besides,the blank group of 4 healthy rats were set.The oral medicine group was given Traditional Chinese Medicine Jianpi Chushi decoction [(Poria cocos,Chinese yam,Cortex dictamni,Zaocys dhumnade,Rhizoma atractylodis,Pericarpium citri reticulatae,Scutellaria baicalensis,Radix Sophorae Flavescentis,Raw Radix Paeoniae Alba,Licorice roots(Northwest Origin)] by gastric infusion(1.6 g/m L·5 m L/d); the external inunctum group was given Qingpeng ointment on the skin,the combination therapy group was given Jianpi Chushi decoction by gastric infusion and Qingpeng ointment combination therapy.The model control group was given normal saline(NS) of the same volume by gastric infusion and vaseline on skin.Continuous administration 15 d and stopped for 3 d.The thickness difference and weight difference of left and right ear of every group were measured and the degree of ear swelling were evaluated.The CD4^+ and CD8^+ content and the IL-2,IL-4 level of serum were detected,and the inflammatory cells counts of back skin were recorded.Results:After treatment,the degree of ear swelling of oral medicine group,external inunctum group and combination therapy group significant decreased compared with model control group(P<0.05).The CD4^+,CD8^+ cell content and IL-2 level of oral medicine group,external inunctum group,combination therapy group and model control group significant decreased compared with blank group,and IL-2 level and the inflammatory cells count increased.After 15 d of treatment,the CD4^+,CD8^+ cell content and IL-2 level of serum of oral medicine group,external inunctum group and combination therapy group raised and the IL-4 level and the inflammatory cells count had significant decreased compared with model control group,and the effect of combination therapy group was more obvious(P<0.05).Conclusions:Qral Jianpi Chushi decoction could treat chronic eczema effectively,and oral Chinese medicine combined with ointment could enhance and speed up the efficacy.
文摘BACKGROUND Aplasia cutis congenita (ACC) in newborns is a condition in which congenital defects or hypoplasia is present in part of the epidermis,dermis and even subcutaneous tissue (including muscle and bones).First reported by Cordon in 1767,ACC is a rare disease with a low incidence of 1/100000 to 3/10000.Currently,there are 500 cases reported worldwide.ACC can be accompanied by other malformations.The onset mechanism of the disease remains unknown but is thought to be correlated to factors such as genetics,narrow uterus,foetal skin and amniotic membrane adhesion,use of teratogenic drugs in early pregnancy and viral infection.CASE SUMMARY In August 2018,we treated a newborn with ACC on the left lower limbs using a combination of ionic silver dressing and moist exposed burn ointment (MEBO) and achieved a satisfactory treatment outcome.The skin defects were observed on the external genitals and on areas from the left foot to 3/4 of the upper left side.Subcutaneous tissue and blood vessels were observed in the regions with skin defects.The following treatments were provided.First,the wound was rinsed with 0.9% sodium chloride solution followed by disinfection with povidone-iodine twice.And then MEBO was applied to the wound at a thickness of approximately 1 mm.After applying ionic silver dressing,the wound was covered with sterile gauze.The wound dressing was replaced every 2-3 d.At the 4-mo follow-up,the treatment outcome was satisfactory.There was minimal scar tissue formation,and limb function was not impaired.CONCLUSION The combination of ionic silver dressing and MEBO to ACC is helpful.
文摘Baimai ointment has Shujin and Huoluo efficiency. It has been confirmed by basic pharmacodynamic experiments that Baimai ointment has some therapeutic effects on stroke. However, the detailed evaluations of Baimai ointment on clinically treating stroke patients for function recovery are still insufficient with little reports. OBJECTIVE: To observe the efficiency and safety of Baimai ointment on alleviating hypermyotonia following cerebral infarction DESIGN: A randomized, parallel and controlled experiment. SETTING: Department of Neurology, Beijing Aerospace General Hospital. PARTICIPANTS: A total of 120 patients with acute front-cycle cerebral infarction were selected from Department of Neurology, Beijing Aerospace General Hospital from July to December 2006 and met the diagnosis criteria modified by Forth National Seminar on Cerebrovascular Disease. The experiment had got confirmed consent from local ethic committee. All 120 patients with cerebral infarction were randomly divided into experimental group (n =80; 32 in the acute phase, 32 in the recovery phase and 16 in the sequela phase) and control group (n =40; 16 in the acute phase, 16 in the recovery phase and 8 in the sequela phase). METHODS: Within 4 weeks after the patients were enrolled in this study, no other traditional Chinese medicines containing similar components were adopted besides routine supporting therapy. The Baimai ointment being consisted of jianghuang, Roudoukou, Gansong, Yangqishi, Gancao, She, shannai, Zanghuixiang, Zangchangpu, Huajiao and dianhua was used by trial group (20 g/ampoule, Tibet Lingzhiqizheng Tibetan Drug Factory; batch number: 050403), 2-3 times per day, the ointment was moderately coated traveling parts of Baimai. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The evaluation of National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Modified Rankin Scale and Modified Ashworth Scale were performed before administration, 2 and 4 weeks after administration. RESULTS: All 120 patients with acute front-cycle cerebral infarction were involved in the final analysis. ① Evaluation of therapeutic effects: After 4 weeks, the comparison of overall muscular tension and muscular tension in acute phase between the two groups (acute phase, chronic phase and recovery phase) demonstrated that the experimental group improved significantly (Z = - 2.25, - 2.06, P 〈 0.05). After 2 weeks, the change of muscular tension was not significantly different from baseline (P 〉 0.05). Whereas after 4 weeks, the change of muscular tension in acute phase was significantly different from baseline (P 〈 0.05); however, the change of muscular tension in recovery phase and sequelae phase was not significantly different from baseline (P 〉 0.05). After the treatment, the overall NIHSS and disability score of both groups did not change significantly (P 〉 0.05). ② Adverse reaction and side effect: There were two adverse events in experimental groups. One patient underwent petechia, and the symptom disappeared following stopping medication which did not reappear after remedication. The other patient complained of a pain coming from the place where the medication was used, and the symptom went away without treatment. Two cases of adverse events were not significantly correlated with the usage of medication, so both of which could not be confirmed to be adverse reactions. CONCLUSION: Baimai ointment achieves some therapeutic effects on treating hypermyotonia of cerebral infarction patients, especially significantly preventing the hypermyotonia in acute phase with good safety.
文摘BACKGROUND The most effective treatment for knee joint pain is total knee arthroplasty(TKA),but the risk of pain and swelling in patients after surgery is high.Ice application,ankle pump exercise and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory painkillers are the primary clinical treatments after surgery.However,long-term use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory pain relievers can easily cause gastrointestinal damage.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)ointments and tuina therapy integrate TCM and manipulation,which effectively promotes the penetration of TCM into the skin lesions,improves local blood circulation and inflammatory reaction and has good long-term effects on patients.AIM To evaluate the efficacy of TCM ointment combined with tuina therapy in the treatment of pain and swelling after TKA.METHODS The randomized controlled clinical trial enrolled 80 patients who underwent TKA via the same procedure.The patients were randomly divided among the treatment group(n=40)and the control group(n=40).The control group was given an analgesia pump in addition to oral painkillers as the postoperative intervention.The treatment group received TCM ointment with tuina therapy in addition to the analgesia pump and oral painkillers in the postoperative period.The following variables were recorded 3 d before surgery and 3 d,7 d and 14 d after surgery:Visual analogue scale(VAS)score;skin temperature;circumferences at 15 cm above and below the patella;maximum active knee flexion angle;and the knee injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome score(KOOS).RESULTS After treatment,VAS was significantly lower in the treatment group than the control group at 7 d(t=7.536,P<0.001)and 14 d(t=8.563,P<0.001).The skin temperature of participants in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group at 7 d(t=2.968,P=0.004)and 14 d(t=4.423,P<0.001).The circumference values of the two positions in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group at 7 d[t=2.315,P=0.023(above);t=2.121,P=0.037(below)]and 14 d[t=2.374,P=0.020(above);t=2.095,P=0.039(below)].After 14 d of treatment,the maximum active knee flexion angle and KOOS of the two groups were significantly improved but were significantly higher in the treatment group(P<0.05 for both).CONCLUSION TCM ointment and tuina therapy have significant advantages over standard care in the treatment of pain and swelling after TKA.This additional treatment may improve knee function but additional studies are needed to confirm our observations.

Subsequently, the organosulfur compound, bis-(2,4,4-trimethylpentyl)-dithiophosphinic acid(b-TMP-DTPA), was used to form self-assembled monolayer in order to modify sorbent's surface via covalent bonding between Cu and thiol(–SH)terminal groups. The prepared magnetic nanoparticles were characterized by using Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR) spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy(SEM), transmission electron microscope(TEM), vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM) and thermo gravimetric analysis(TGA). Then, the application of this new sorbent was investigated to extract the steroid drugs in ointment samples with the aid of ultrasound. An external magnetic field was applied to collect the magnetic nanoparticles(MNPs). The extracted analytes were desorbed using acetonitrile. The obtained extraction solution was analyzed by HPLC-UV. The main affecting factors on the extraction efficiency including p H, sonication time, amount of sorbent, salt concentration, and desorption conditions were optimized in detail. Under the optimum conditions, good linearity was obtained in the range of 2.5–250.0 mg/L with reasonable linearity(R24 0.99) and the limits of detection(LODs) ranged between 0.5 and 1.0 mg/L(based on S/N ? 3).Repeatability(intra-day precision) based on five replicates and preconcentration factors were calculated to be 3.6%–4.7% and 87–116, respectively. Relative recoveries in ointment samples at two spiked levels of the target analytes were obtained in the range of 90.0%–103.2%. The results illustrated that the Fe3 O4@Cu@ b-TMP-DTPA NPs have the capability of extraction of steroid drugs from ointment samples.

文摘Objective:Based on data mining,to explore the clinical characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine ointment in the treatment of diabetic foot ulcer.Methods:to search the literatures about the treatment of diabetic foot ulcer by traditional Chinese medicine ointment in CNKI,Wangfang and VIP.In this paper,the prescription of traditional Chinese medicine ointment in the literature of treating diabetic foot ulcer was extracted,and the database of prescription was established by using v2.5 to analyze and mine the rule of medication.Results:95 prescriptions for diabetic foot ulcer were sorted out,involving 158 prescriptions.Among them,dragon's blood and Lithospermum are the most frequently used drug combinations.The core combination of 10 groups and 5 new prescriptions are obtained by evolution.Conclusion:the treatment of diabetic foot ulcer with traditional Chinese medicine ointment mainly includes clearing away heat,promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis,and tonifying deficiency.

文摘Objective: To study the effect of the extracts from Callicarpa nudiflora on wound healing and the preparation of ointment. Methods: Totally 50 KM mice were randomly divided into five groups, which were negative control group ,positive control group, high, middle and low dose groups of Callicarpa nudiflora ointment. Mice ear swelling test was conducted to investigate the effect of Callicarpa nudiflora induced by xylene, Bacteriostasis experiments were conducted to observe the bacteriostasis effects of Callicarpa nudiflora on five indicator bacteria, i.e. Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Candida albicans, Bacillus subtilis, and Staphylococcus aureus in vitro. A total of 30 new zealand white rabbit with half male and half female were randomly divided into five groups, which were negative control group, positive control group, high, middle and low groups of Callicarpa nudiflora ointment. The rabbits were treated with sterilizing blade and treated with external medicine to observe the effect of the extracts from Callicarpa nudiflora on wound healing. Orthogonal test was used to determine the preparation method of Callicarpa nudiflora ointment,Physical properties, centrifugal stratification test, heat and cold resistance test were conducted. Results:Bacteriostasis experiments in vitro showed high dose group of Callicarpa nudiflora extracts got 16.8 cm antimicrobial zone of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The experimental results showed that the ear swelling degree of mice induced by xylene was significantly reduced in the middle and high dose groups. All the treatment groups could promote skin healing of rabbit significantly compared with negative control group. There were significantly differences between all the treatment groups and negative control group on the wound healing rate. The optimum preparation process was determined by orthogonal screening test. The optimal formula was as follows: Twain-801.2 g, glycerin monostearate 4.7 g, glycerinum 0.9 g, liquid paraffin 10.8 g, Span801.4 g,solid paraffin 1.4 g,vaseline 0.9 g. The emulsification temperature was 65 ℃,and emulsification time was 25 min. Conclusions: The extract of Callicarpa nudiflora can be used as external preparation and the preparation is in compliance with Chinese pharmacopoeia 2015.
文摘The purpose of this study was to design an innovative topical ointment containing betamethasone dipropionate loaded nanostructured lipid carrier (BD-NLC) for the treatment of atopic dermatitis (AD). BD-loaded NLC was produced with precirol ATO 5 and oleic oil (OA) by melt emulsification method. Effects of surfactant concentration, amount of solid lipid and liquid lipid on skin retention and skin penetration were investigated by in vitro percutaneous permeation experiment. The optimized BD-NLC showed a homogeneous particle size of 169.1 nm (with PI = 0.195), negatively charged surface (-23.4 mV) and high encapsulation efficiency (85%). Particle morphology assessed by TEM revealed a spherical shape. In vitro skin permeation study was carried out to investigate the percutaneous behaviors of W/O ointment with BD-NLC and Carbopol emulgel ointment with BD-NLC. W/O ointment with BDNLC showed high skin retention (35.43 μg/g) and low penetration (0.87 μg/ml). In vitro drug release studies were carried out to demonstrate the drug releasing properties of the two ointments. W/O ointment with BD-NLC showed an advantage for skin retention as it was better for drug release. The tissue distribution test suggested that BD distribution was skin > muscle > blood. Self-made topical ointment in mice showed no skin irritation. The animal experiments indicated that BD-loaded NLC ointment was effective and safe for topical use.
文摘Background: Phlebitis is the inflammation of the tunica intima of the vein. If left untreated may lead to infection or thrombus formation. Early detection and appropriate interventions reduce the occurrence and severity of cannula related phlebitis. Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of magnesium sulphate with glycerin dressing as compared to heparinoid ointment application on management of peripheral cannula induced phlebitis. Materials and Methods: A Quasi-experimental design was carried among admitted patients in Medical-Surgical Units of BPKIHS. Out among 50 admitted patients with cannula induced phlebitis. Simple random sampling technique was used to allocate the wards to each interventional group and purposive sampling technique to select samples where instruments baseline Performa and observation scale was used to collect data. Results: The study findings revealed significantly reduction of phlebitis score after 48 hours of treatment with both interventions. Thus it was concluded that both the applications were effective in reducing level of phlebitis. Regarding effectiveness, there was a statistically significant difference in phlebitis score in both experimental groups after comparison baseline within 8, 16, 32, 40, 48 hours of administration of intervention (P = 0.05). The mean visual infusion scale score was more in MSG group as compared with that of HPA group. It shows that there is more reduction of VIP score in Magnesium sulphate with glycerin (MSG) group. Conclusion: In the research, study findings revealed that Magnesium sulphate with glycerin dressing is more effective than heparinoid ointment on management of peripheral cannula induced phlebitis.

文摘Objectve:To investigate the effect and mechanism of Hai Tongpi decoction ointment on analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects in mice after transdermal administration.Methods:The hot plate method and the acetic acid writhing experiment were used to verify the analgesic effect of Hai tong-pi extract on pain model mice;the xylene-induced auricular swelling model and the carrageenan-induced right foot swelling model were used,combined with the ELISA method to determine the analgesic effect.The levels of TNF-α,IL-1βand IL-6 in the serum of mice were observed.Anti-inflammatory effect of Haitongpi Tang decoction ointment on inflammation model mice.Results:In terms of analgesia,compared with the model group,both the treatment group 1 and the treatment group 2 can significantly prolong the hot plate pain threshold and the latency of the writhing response(P<0.05),and significantly reduce the writhing in the mice.The number of times(P<0.001),and the effect of process 1 is more obvious(P<0.05);In terms of antiinflammatory,compared with the blank group,the swelling degree and swelling rate of the right hind paw of the mice in the model group were significantly increased(P<0.01),indicating that the acute inflammation model was successfully established in the mice.Compared with the model group,both the process group 1 and the process group 2 can significantly reduce the swelling degree and swelling rate of the mice feet(P<0.05),and reduce the auricle swelling degree of the mice,and increase the swelling inhibition rate(P<0.05),and the effective effect of process 1 group was more significant(P<0.05).At the same time,compared with the blank group,the contents of TNF-α,IL-1βand IL-6 in the model group were significantly increased(P<0.01).Compared with the process group 2,the process group 1 had a more significant decrease in the content of IL-1β(P<0.05),and IL-6 content of the two had no statistical difference(P>0.05).Conclusion:The Hai tong-pi decoction ointment prepared by two different processes have good analgesic and antiinflammatory effects on mice after transdermal administration.inflammatory cytokine expression.The anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect of process group 1 was better than that of process group 2,which may be related to the separate extraction and storage of volatile oil of traditional Chinese medicine,which ensured the long-term pharmacological activity of volatile oil.

文摘[Objectives]This study aimed to study the sleep-improving effect of Anshen Babu ointment on insomnia mice and its mechanism of action.[Methods]Mouse models of insomnia were established by p-chlorophenylalanine(PCPA)injection.They were given high,middle and low doses of Anshen Babu ointment,for 7 consecutive days,and then,the spontaneous activity of insomnia mice and the effect on hypnotic time and subthreshold hypnotic dose of pentobarbital sodium were observed,and the levels of 5-HT,IL-6 and TNF-α in the hippocampus of mice were determined.[Results]High and middle-dose Anshen Babu ointment significantly reduced the spontaneous activity of insomnia mice and shorten the hypnotic time of pentobarbital sodium;high and middle-dose Anshen Babu ointment increased the 5-HT content and inhibited the IL-6 and TNF-α expression in the hippocampus of mice.[Conclusions]Anshen Babu ointment has hypnotic and sedative effect on insomnia mice.The mechanism may be achieved by increasing 5-HT and reducing IL-6 and TNF-α levels.

文摘Objective:To study the effect of Baiban Ointment on gene expression profile of vulvar lichen sclerosus before and after treatment,and to provide theoretical basis for the early diagnosis and clinical treatment of vulvar lichen sclerosus.Methods:Nine patients with vulvar lichen sclerosus diagnosed pathologically were selected as the study object,and the Baiban ointment was applied locally for 3 months.Gene chip technology was used to detect the vulva skin tissue in the same area before and after treatment,and the peripheral normal skin was used as the normal control group to analyze the change of gene expression profile.FC and P values were used as research indicators,and the standard of differential expression was FC value≥1.5,P value<0.05.The differentially expressed genes were screened,and GO analysis and KEGG database gene pathway analysis were carried out.Results:Compared with the normal control group,there were 22 differentially expressed genes in Group A before treatment,of which 21 were up-regulated and 1 was down regulated;compared with Group B before treatment,there were 23 differentially expressed genes,all of which were up regulated.The differentially expressed genes related to Baiban ointment treatment included TBK1、STAT1、ITGAM、VCAN、PRKACB、PROM1、PLAT、SERPINA1.Go analysis showed that the up-regulated differential genes were mainly concentrated in the extracellular exosome,cytosol,extracellular space,Golgi apparatus and other cellular component,using the biological process such as positive regulation of cell metabolism,signal transduction regulation,cell adhesion,etc.,to play a role in protein binding,enzyme activity regulation and other molecular functions.KEGG signaling pathway showed that the differentially expressed genes were significantly enriched in Toll like receptor signaling pathway,Nod like receptor signaling pathway and Fc RI signaling pathway,all of which were up-regulated signaling pathways.Among them,Toll like receptor signaling pathway and Nod like receptor signaling pathway are most closely related to the disease.Conclusion:Baiban ointment may play a role in regulating metabolism,inflammation and immune response by regulating the expression of related genes,affecting the signal transduction such as Toll like receptor signal pathway.The pathway and the genes screened in this study will provide a direction for the future study of this disease.

文摘Objective:To discuss the main active components and potential mechanisms of moist burn ointment in the treat-ment of diabetic ulcer were discussed by network pharmacology and molecular docking technology.Methods:Based on the TC-MSP database,the main active components and targets of MEBO were screened.The targets related to diabetic ulcers were searched from GeneCards,OMIM,PharmGkb,TTD,and DrugBank databases.The STRING 11.5 database was used to con-struct a protein-protein interaction(PPI)network to screen the core targets.The'drug-target-disease'network diagram was made in Cytoscape 3.8.2 software to screen the core active components.GO enrichment analysis and KEGG pathway enrichment analysis were performed using R language software.Finally,molecular docking was used to preliminarily verify the screening results.Results:A total of 37 active components of MEBO were screened to map 100 targets,5527 targets for diabetic ulcer dis-ease,and 77 intersection targets.PPI network topology analysis suggested that TP53,TNF,HSP90AA1 and other targets were key targets;the network diagram of ‘drug-target-disease’showed that acacetin,wogonin,quercetin,and rutaecarpine were the core active ingredients.GO function analysis mainly involved angiogenesis,ion transport,diameter regulation,cytokine receptor binding,and other processes.KEGG enrichment analysis mainly included PI3K-Akt,AGE-RAGE,and other signaling pathways.Molecular docking showed that the core active ingredients and key targets had good docking activity.Conclusion:The treatment of diabetic ulcer with MEBO is the result of multi-component,multi-target,and synergistic regulation,which provides a theoretical basis for the clinical application of MEBO and the treatment of diabetic ulcer.

文摘Objective: To observe the effect of Zizhu ointment on acute wound healing and its effect on the expression of autophagy proteins LC3 and Becin1. Method: SD rat model with acute skin injury were randomly divided into groups. The experimental group was treated with external application of Zizhu ointment, and the control group was given external saline. The wound healing rate of the two groups was compared at 4d, 7d, 14d and 21d after trauma. The morphology of wounds was observed by HE staining, and the autophagosomes of wounds were observed by transmission electron microscopy. Expression and changes of autophagy marker proteins Beclin-1 and LC3 were detected by immunohistochemistry and WB assay. Result: Compared with the control group, experimental group had a high healing rate, a short healing time, and a faster epithelialization rate. Under the electron microscope, autophagosomes of experimental group were reduced, and the expression of LC3 and Beclin-1 was significantly decreased. Conclusion: Zizhu ointment may promote wound healing by inhibiting autophagy activity of cells.
