Computer controlled automatic balancing experiments with phase magnitude control tactics were performed on a flexible rotor system. Results of the experiments prove that the energy feeding method and the control tactics are effective in the automatic balancing head for vibration controlling.展开更多

First, the reagents and their doses for the experiment are selected according to the characteristics of the zinc sulfate solution. Then, the reagent doses are optimized by analyzing the influence of reagent dose on the polarographic parameters(i.e. half-wave potential E_(1/2) and limiting diffusion current I_p). Finally, the optimization results are verified by simultaneously determining trace amounts of Cu^(2+), Cd^(2+) and Co^(2+) in the presence of an extremely large excess of Zn^(2+). The determination results indicate that the optimized reagents exhibit wide linearity, low detection limits, high accuracy and good precision for the simultaneous determination of trace amounts of Cu^(2+), Cd^(2+) and Co^(2+) in the presence of an extremely large excess of Zn^(2+).展开更多

Preconcentration and determination are based on (i) the quantitative and fast adsorption of chromium (VI) on the high surface area nanometer-size TiO2 (anatase) powders, which prepared by a sol-gel method from hydrolysis of TiCI4 and (ii) the quantitative and reproducible elution of Cr (VI) by 2. 0 mol. L-1 HCI. A mini-column system for preconcentration is developed, Cr(VI)on the mini-column is eluted and merged with a stream water and DPCB (1, 5-diphenylcarbazide ) as the chromogenic reagent. The Proposed system permits throughputs of 6 sample h--l (0. 001 μg mL-1 Cr(VI) ) or 20 sample h-1 (0. 1 μg mL-1Cr (VI) . The preconcentration factor is 55. The detection limit is 0. 8 ng·mL-1 Cr(VI). The reproducibility is satisfactory with a relative standard deviation of less than 3. 35% (0. Of μg'mL-1Cr (VI), n = 5).展开更多

Assigning weights of importance of the criteria Face Decision-maker (DM) means, in essence, a priori purpose variant of the winner. There are a number of problematic situations involving a large number of criteria: (1) problems where the evaluation of alternatives represent the degree of satisfaction of basic performance requirements object bidders. Matrix estimates with different low variability and a very large number of requirements (criteria); (2) the use of cognitive maps for modeling problem situations. If the alternatives are considered not only divisible strategy (options impact on concepts), matrix estimates accepts small size. If the task is allowed to use an alternative strategy mixtures fraction (e.g., 25% influences on the concept 1, 50% influences on the concept 2, 10% influences on the concept 3, etc.), the matrix ratings also gaining greater dimension. It is clear that in such cases the appointment criteria weights DMP becomes a problem.展开更多

Antimony(Ⅲ) was preconcentrated on a micro-column packed with CPG-8Q chelating ion-exchanger using time-based sample loading and eluted by 4 mol l^(-1) HCl directly into the hydride generation AAS system. A detection limit (3σ) of 0.0015μg l^(-1) Sb(Ⅲ) was obtained on the basis of a 20 fold enrichment and with a sampling frequency of 60h^(-1). The precision was 1.0% r.s.d.(n=11) at the 0.5μg l^(-1) Sb(Ⅲ) level. Recoveries for the analysis of antimony in tap water, snow water and sea water samples were in the range 97-102%.展开更多

However, BATS can’t consider whether it cause overloading of devices after it acts. In this paper, we introduce the design principle of Automatic BATS control from whole architecture including its function, strategy and a rule of on-off. On the other hand, the running experience and effect is also introduced. Site operation shows that the proposed method is feasible and it can ensure power grid reliability.展开更多

The main idea of this system is to detect failure using current and voltage signals acquired without any type of internal interference in the generator operation. The detected failures could be mechanical or electrical origins, such as: problems in bearings, unwanted vibrations, partial discharges, misalignment, unbalancing, among others. It is possible because the generator acts as a transducer for mechanical problems, and they appear in current and voltage signals. This automatic system based on electric signature analysis has been installed in Itapebi Power Plant generators since 2012. Some results are presented in this paper.展开更多

The nominal pressure ratio of the machine is near 2.Such a pressure ratio often characterizes what would typically be called a compressor, especially if the compression work is performed in one stage. For the subject machine of the present study, the compression work is split into 4 stages. This paper describes the design procedure for this blower, initially focusing in depth on the tradeoffs between work split, rotor diameter, and rotor vane back-sweep angle. The paper then presents a further design and optimization work of different variants of diffuser and deswirler based on aerodynamic performance for this 4 stages radial blower. The number of deswirler blades in the return channel was reduced from 19 to 10 in consideration of manufacturing requirements. To minimize losses in performance due to reduced blade number, several candidates of varied geometry shape deswirler blades were obtained from an automatic design and optimization workflow combining with 3D CFD calculation. All candidates of deswirler were implemented to the entire 4 stages radial blower to analyze machine performance by 3D CFD calculation and the best 10-blade deswirler geometry was determined. 3D CFD analysis shows that 10 blades of deswirler is unable to provide the same pressure rise and efficiency as the original design with 19 blades when all other parts of the design, such as rotor and diffuser are maintained the same. To further improve the blower performance, the similar automatic workflow was applied to study vaned diffuser influence to the blower performance based on the new blower configuration. The number and geometry of best diffuser blades was obtained from the automatic workflow and entire blower performance with vaned diffuser was analyzed and validated by 3D CFD calculation. After finalizing the aerodynamic flow path geometries and configuration of new blower design, performance for new blower and old one are predicted by 1D method with loss model correction and 3D CFD calculation. 1D and 3D CFD calculation results are compared and good agreement is achieved. Though, small discrepancy between them is noticed and reasons are analyzed. Furthermore, 3D CFD calculations with stall determination method based on several stall-indication metrics were performed to determine surge points of the 2 new blower configurations with vaned and vaneless diffuser. A future publication is intended to show the validation of the design with tested performance data.展开更多
