Inhibition of Notch1 signaling has been shown to promote astrocyte-derived neurogenesis after stroke.To investigate the regulatory role of Notch1 signaling in this process,in this study,we used a rat model of stroke based on middle cerebral artery occlusion and assessed the behavior of reactive astrocytes post-stroke.We used theγ-secretase inhibitor N-[N-(3,5-diuorophenacetyl)-1-alanyl]-S-phenylglycine t-butylester(DAPT)to block Notch1 signaling at 1,4,and 7 days after injury.Our results showed that only administration of DAPT at 4 days after stroke promoted astrocyte-derived neurogenesis,as manifested by recovery of white matter fiber bundle integrity on magnetic resonance imaging,which is consistent with recovery of neurologic function.These findings suggest that inhibition of Notch1 signaling at the subacute stage post-stroke mediates neural repair by promoting astrocyte-derived neurogenesis. 展开更多

Sleep plays a vital role in optimum working of the brain and the body.Numerous people suffer from sleep-oriented illnesses like apnea,insomnia,etc.Sleep stage classification is a primary process in the quantitative examination of polysomnographic recording.Sleep stage scoring is mainly based on experts’knowledge which is laborious and time consuming.Hence,it can be essential to design automated sleep stage classification model using machine learning(ML)and deep learning(DL)approaches.In this view,this study focuses on the design of Competitive Multi-verse Optimization with Deep Learning Based Sleep Stage Classification(CMVODL-SSC)model using Electroencephalogram(EEG)signals.The proposed CMVODL-SSC model intends to effectively categorize different sleep stages on EEG signals.Primarily,data pre-processing is performed to convert the actual data into useful format.Besides,a cascaded long short term memory(CLSTM)model is employed to perform classification process.At last,the CMVO algorithm is utilized for optimally tuning the hyperparameters involved in the CLSTM model.In order to report the enhancements of the CMVODL-SSC model,a wide range of simulations was carried out and the results ensured the better performance of the CMVODL-SSC model with average accuracy of 96.90%. 展开更多

A mathematical mechanism model was proposed for the description and analysis of the heat-stirring-acid leaching process.The model is proved to be effective by experiment.Afterwards,the leaching problem was formulated as a constrained multi-objective optimization problem based on the mechanism model.A two-stage guide multi-objective particle swarm optimization(TSG-MOPSO) algorithm was proposed to solve this optimization problem,which can accelerate the convergence and guarantee the diversity of pareto-optimal front set as well.Computational experiment was conducted to compare the solution by the proposed algorithm with SIGMA-MOPSO by solving the model and with the manual solution in practice.The results indicate that the proposed algorithm shows better performance than SIGMA-MOPSO,and can improve the current manual solutions significantly.The improvements of production time and economic benefit compared with manual solutions are 10.5% and 7.3%,respectively. 展开更多

目的 探究氨甲环酸(TXA)联合健康行为过程取向模型(HAPA)下阶段式康复干预(SRI-HAPAM)对行全髋关节置换术(THA)老年股骨颈骨折(FNF)患者的应用价值。方法 纳入2022年12月至2023年6月温州医科大学附属第一医院行单侧THA老年FNF患者为研... 目的 探究氨甲环酸(TXA)联合健康行为过程取向模型(HAPA)下阶段式康复干预(SRI-HAPAM)对行全髋关节置换术(THA)老年股骨颈骨折(FNF)患者的应用价值。方法 纳入2022年12月至2023年6月温州医科大学附属第一医院行单侧THA老年FNF患者为研究对象。根据随机数字表法,将患者为常规护理(RN)组和TXA+SRI-HAPAM组。RN组术后接受常规治疗,TXA+SRI-HAPAM组术后接受TXA联合SRI-HAPAM治疗。比较两组术后24 h出血指标[隐性失血量(HBL)、显性出血量(EBL)和输血量(BTV)]、血红蛋白(Hb)、C-反应蛋白(CRP)和D-二聚体(DD)水平。比较两组术后3个月髋关节功能[关节畸形(JD)、关节功能(JF)、关节疼痛(JP)、关节活动(JM)和髋关节功能总分(THF)]、焦虑抑郁情绪[焦虑自评量表(SAS)和抑郁自评量表(SDS)]、护理满意度和并发症发生情况。结果 研究共纳入100例因FNF行单侧THA老年患者,TXA+SRI-HAPAM组54例,RN组46例。术前,两组Hb、CRP、DD、JD、JF、JP、JM、THF、SAS差异无统计学意义(P> 0.05)。术后24 h,两组Hb较术前下降,而CRP和DD较术前上升(P <0.05);TXA+SRI-HAPAM组Hb的下降程度和CRP、DD的上升程度以及HBL、EBL和BTV均低于RN组(P <0.05)。术后3月,两组患者JD、JF、JP、JM和THF均较术前上升,而SAS和SDS较术前均下降(P <0.05);且TXA+SRI-HAPAM组JD、JF、JP、JM和THF评分显著高于RN组,SAS和SDS评分低于RN组(P <0.05)。术后3个月,TXA+SRI-HAPAM组护理满意度明显高于RN组,而总并发症发生率低于RN组(P <0.05)。结论 与常规护理比较,TXA联合SRIHAPAM可更有效地促进THA患者术后恢复。 展开更多

In this study, it is aimed to determine the ranking importance levels of the stages to be taken into consideration for new product development on a global scale in the automotive design process. New product design activity and stage-gate process differences between local automotive firms (serial production factory and stage-gate department in Turkey) and global automotive companies (serial production factory and stage-gate department in Turkey) are examined comparatively in the research area. In the automotive industry, which has been developing for a century, the question of how the local company products operating in the last sixty years have not been able to spread globally or how to develop global products is the background question of the research. For this purpose, one on one interviews were held with the managers of 3 national and 3 international automotive companies, who worked in the same region and who had previously designed a new vehicle, with design and product development departments.?According to?the data obtained by the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) in the automotive design process, the importance of the criteria that should be taken into account for global product development has revealed. According to the results of the study, it was found that design validation stages were the most important globalization criterion in automotive design process as a new study area. In the comprehensive survey of the study, no other publication has been encountered to measure or evaluate the stages in the automotive design and new product development process in other sectors, including the vehicle industry. As in every industry sector, in the automotive industry, with the new product companies provide market development or competitive advantage. The new product is the life channel of a company and in the realization of this new vehicle;the disciplines of the automotive industry are formed by a hundred years of experience. 展开更多

Many industrial products are normally processed through multiple manufacturing process stages before it becomes a final product.Statistical process control techniques often utilize standard Shewhart control charts to monitor these process stages.If the process stages are independent,this is a meaningful procedure.However,they are not independent in many manufacturing scenarios.The standard Shewhart control charts can not provide the information to determine which process stage or group of process stages has caused the problems(i.e.,standard Shewhart control charts could not diagnose dependent manufacturing process stages).This study proposes a selective neural network ensemble-based cause-selecting system of control charts to monitor these process stages and distinguish incoming quality problems and problems in the current stage of a manufacturing process.Numerical results show that the proposed method is an improvement over the use of separate Shewhart control chart for each of dependent process stages,and even ordinary quality practitioners who lack of expertise in theoretical analysis can implement regression estimation and neural computing readily. 展开更多

Based on the characteristics of pickling wastewater in the cold-rolling production of stainless steel, a new processing route, featuring source sludge reduction, wastewater two-stage treatment, heavy metal-contained sludge and calcium salt sludge separating recovery, was proposed. As shown by the research results, after the two-stage process treatment, the effluent water can steadily reach the emission standards, the sludge yield can be decreased by more than 8% ; within the heavy metal-contained sludge, the recovery rates of Fc,Cr and Ni can either reach or surpass 95% ,and the total content ofF and S can drop to around 3%. Therefore,the sludge in the front part can be used as ferric dust. In the calcium salt sludge ,the recovery rate of F can either reach or surpass 85% ,and the total contents of Fe,Cr and Ni can fall below 0.5%. So the sludge in the rear part can be used as fluorgypsum or fluorite. Meanwhile,the results of the analysis on heavy metals leaching toxicity and morphologic distribution indicate that the two kinds of sectionalized sludge are not classified as hazardous wastes, which have a stable behavior and better utilization values compared with the former mixed- sludge. 展开更多

Empirical Study of Classification Process for Two-stage Turbo Air Classifier in Series 被引量:1

The suitable process parameters for a two-stage turbo air classifier are important for obtaining the ultrafine powder that has a narrow particle-size distribution, however little has been published internationally on the classification process for the two-stage turbo air classifier in series. The influence of the process parameters of a two-stage turbo air classifier in series on classification performance is empirically studied by using aluminum oxide powders as the experimental material. The experimental results show the following: 1) When the rotor cage rotary speed of the first-stage classifier is increased from 2 300 r/min to 2 500 r/min with a constant rotor cage rotary speed of the second-stage classifier, classification precision is increased from 0.64 to 0.67. However, in this case, the final ultrafine powder yield is decreased from 79% to 74%, which means the classification precision and the final ultrafine powder yield can be regulated through adjusting the rotor cage rotary speed of the first-stage classifier. 2) When the rotor cage rotary speed of the second-stage classifier is increased from 2 500 r/min to 3 100 r/min with a constant rotor cage rotary speed of the first-stage classifier, the cut size is decreased from 13.16 μm to 8.76 μm, which means the cut size of the ultrafine powder can be regulated through adjusting the rotor cage rotary speed of the second-stage classifier. 3) When the feeding speed is increased from 35 kg/h to 50 kg/h, the 'fish-hook' effect is strengthened, which makes the ultrafine powder yield decrease. 4) To weaken the 'fish-hook' effect, the equalization of the two-stage wind speeds or the combination of a high first-stage wind speed with a low second-stage wind speed should be selected. This empirical study provides a criterion of process parameter configurations for a two-stage or multi-stage classifier in series, which offers a theoretical basis for practical production. 展开更多

As the non-periodic inspections are common in practice,a two-stage inspection model based on a three-stage failure process is proposed. The two-stage inspection means that the system is inspected with the first inspection interval T_1 and the second inspection interval T_2. Because of the three color schemes commonly used in industry,three stages are divided by the system lifetime:normal, minor defective and severe defective stages. Upon the failure of the system,replacement is carried out. Maintenance is done once identifying the severe defective stage. However,when the minor defective stage is identified by the second inspection interval T_2,action of halving the subsequent inspection interval is adopted.Otherwise,no action is required. Our objective function is to optimize the inspection intervals so as to minimize the expected cost per unit time. Test results show that TSTP process is quick start-up in 51 d, and the maximum VFA of hydrolytic acidification reactor effluent reaches 876 mg/L. Under the condition of volume loading of 6.56 kgCOD/m3·d, COD removal rate of the first-order EC reactor is about 85%, and under the condition of volume loading of 1.02 kgCOD/m3·d, COD removal rate of the second-order EC reactor is about 50%. When the inflow COD of TSTP process is between 7000-11000 mg/L, its effluent COD is lower than 600 mg/L. In the biological conversion process of methanol into methane,the production of acetic acids as an intermediate product can be ignored and the direct production of methane from methanol is predominant. 展开更多

The result shows that the average CODCr, BOD5 , suspended solid (SS), and ammonia-nitrogen removal rate are 94.5 %, 93.2 %, 91.7 % and 46.9 %, respectively, under the conditions of a total air/water ratio of 5∶1 , an air/water ratio of 3:1 for oxidation tank 1 and 2:1for oxidation tank 2and a hydraulic retention time of 1 h for each stage. 间歇过程产品质量与过程特性或过程反应原理密切相关,为解决其过程数据呈现的多阶段性、时序性和动态性的问题,提出一种基于带外源输入的非线性自回归(NARX)神经网络进行多阶段质量预测.首先,对间歇过程数据进行K均值(K-means)聚类阶段... 间歇过程产品质量与过程特性或过程反应原理密切相关,为解决其过程数据呈现的多阶段性、时序性和动态性的问题,提出一种基于带外源输入的非线性自回归(NARX)神经网络进行多阶段质量预测.首先,对间歇过程数据进行K均值(K-means)聚类阶段划分和核熵成分分析(KECA)数据降维,保证输入数据阶段特征的同时提升后续预测过程的效率;然后,在各阶段内构造NARX预测模型,利用改进蝙蝠算法(MBA)优化网络的隐含层节点数,实现间歇过程在线质量预测;最后,利用青霉素仿真实验数据验证所提方法的有效性.研究结果表明:NARX神经网络开环模式具有较好的预测效果,核熵成分分析的数据降维方式更有利于后续的质量预测研究;MBA对于网络隐含层节点数的优化效率高、稳定性好,阶段划分可以一定程度上提高间歇过程的预测性能,提出的多阶段质量预测模型预测性能较高,均方根误差和平均绝对百分比误差分别达到0.02和1.20%. 展开更多

A survey of the population densities of rice planthoppers is important for forecasting decisions and efficient control. Tra- ditional manual surveying of rice planthoppers is time-consuming, fatiguing, and subjective. A new three-layer detection method was proposed to detect and identify white-backed planthoppers (WBPHs, Sogatella furcifera (Horvath)) and their developmental stages using image processing. In the first two detection layers, we used an AdaBoost classifier that was trained on a histogram of oriented gradient (HOG) features and a support vector machine (SVM) classifier that was trained on Gabor and Local Binary Pattern (LBP) features to detect WBPHs and remove impurities. We achieved a detection rate of 85.6% and a false detection rate of 10.2%. In the third detection layer, a SVM classifier that was trained on the HOG features was used to identify the different developmental stages of the WBPHs, and we achieved an identification rate of 73.1%, a false identification rate of 23.3%, and a 5.6% false detection rate for the images without WBPHs. Multi-stage hydraulic fracturing of horizontal wells is the main stimulation method in recovering gas from tight shale gas reservoirs, and stage spacing deter- mination is one of the key issues in fracturing design. The initiation and propagation of hydraulic fractures will cause stress redistribution and may activate natural fractures in the reservoir. Due to the limitation of the analytical method in calculation of induced stresses, we propose a numerical method, which incorporates the interaction of hydraulic fractures and the wellbore, and analyzes the stress distri- bution in the reservoir under different stage spacing. Simulation results indicate the following: (1) The induced stress was overestimated from the analytical method because it did not take into account the interaction between hydraulic fractures and the horizontal wellbore. (2) The hydraulic fracture had a considerable effect on the redis- tribution of stresses in the direction of the horizontal wellbore in the reservoir. The stress in the direction per- pendicular to the horizontal wellbore after hydraulic frac- turing had a minor change compared with the original in situ stress. (3) Stress interferences among fractures were greatly connected with the stage spacing and the distance from the wellbore. When the fracture length was 200 m, and the stage spacing was 50 m, the stress redistribution due to stage fracturing may divert the original stress pat- tern, which might activate natural fractures so as to generate a complex fracture network. 展开更多

During the last decades, the initial treatment for these women has been debated and largely varies through different countries. Thus, radical concurrent chemoradiation is the standard of care in United Sated and Canada, and neoadjuvant chemotherapy followed by radical surgery is the first line of treatment in some institutions of Europe, Asia and Latin America. Until today, there is no evidence of which strategy is better over the other. Based on the remote sensing images of algae, the present work analyzes the horizontal distribution characteristics of algal blooms in Chaohu Lake, China, which also reveals the frequency of algal blooms under different wind directions. Further, an unstructured-grid, three-dimensional finite-volume coastal ocean model (FVCOM) is applied to investigate the wind-induced currents and the transport pro- cess to explain the reason why algal blooms occur at the detected places. We first deduce the primary distribution of biomass from overlaid satellite images, and explain the formation mechanism by analyzing the pollution sources, and simulating the flow field and transportation process under prevailing wind over Chaohu Lake. And then, we consider the adjustment action of the wind on the corresponding day and develop a two-time scale approach to describe the whole formation process of algae horizontal distribution in Chaohu Lake. That is, on the longer time scale, i.e., during bloom season, prevailing wind determines the primary distribution of biomass by inducing the characteristic flow field; on the shorter time scale, i.e., on the day when bloom occurs, the wind force adjusts the primary distribution of biomass to form the final distribution of algal bloom. 展开更多

The proposed method is applied to a simulated airplane model built in Automatic Dynamic Analysis of Mechanical Systems software.
