The copper flash smelting process is characterized by its involvement of wide energy sources and high energy consumption, so the energy conservation is usually a highly concerned topic for the flash smelting enterprises. However, due to the complexity of the system, it is quite difficult to perform a timely comprehensive analysis of the energy consumption of the whole production system. Aiming to realize an online assessment of the energy consumption of the system, great effort was first made in Jinguan Copper, Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group Co. Ltd. Methods were proposed to solve technical difficulties such as the acquisition and processing of data with different sampling frequencies, the online evaluation of the electricity consumption, and timely evaluation of product output in the periodic process. As a result, a software system was developed to make the online analysis of the energy consumption and efficiency from the three levels ranging from the system to the equipment. The analytical results at the system level was introduce. It’s found that electricity is the most consumed energy in the system, accounting for 77.3% of the total energy consumption. The smelting unit has the highest energy consumption, accounting for 52.8% of the total energy consumed in the whole enterprise. 展开更多

The period of existence and spread of Corona virus has led to the use of all means of remote education as an urgent necessity for all educational facilities, especially universities. Aim: Therefore, it was necessary to study the impacts of online remote education on the learning process among nursing students through studying of two courses;health information management at 6th semester and gerontology nursing course at 4th semester. Tool of Data Collection: A modified questionnaire comprised of forty statements was used through paper-based survey and online survey. Sample: A total samples (224) of nursing students were participated in the survey who enrolled in 2019 and 2020 spring semesters. Setting: The field of study was the nursing department of Applied Medical Science at Misr University for Science and Technology. Results: Induced positive impacts of online education on the learning process for nursing students experience were proven as more than half of the students (53.9%) had prior experience on online system use, and more than two thirds (62.5%) were competent in mobile/computer applications. Almost, two thirds (59.3%) agreed about online assessment experience, except that the online exam was anxious, and the time was insufficient to answer all questions. Also, more than two thirds (64.7%) agreed about the learning process of the two nursing courses. Conclusion: The study concluded that there were positive impacts of online education system on the learning process for nursing students except that the students were not able to decide that the remote online education system can replace traditional face-to-face learning as the clinical experience was not evaluated through this study. Recommendation: This study is recommended to be repeated on a large scale of participants to assess the possibility of achieving clinical experience through online remote education if Corona virus still coexists. 展开更多

Technology-enhanced formative assessment integration in classrooms transforms traditional teaching, learning and assessment. This paper introduces a pilot study as part of a three-year research project funded by China's Ministry of Education on the use of technology-enhanced formative assessment in the classroom. Initial pilot-study results from nine elementary schools and three junior high schools showed positive writing gains with the experimental group and revealed that students became more motivated and autonomous and tended to write and revise more, and teachers switched their roles from spoon-feeding to that of a supporter and facilitator. 展开更多
