Then it stresses on the importance of applied process ontology. Next the mai... The paper is devoted to the new sphere of applied process ontology. It first makes a short review of the recent investigations in that area. Then it stresses on the importance of applied process ontology. Next the main methodological approaches of applied process ontology are considered: the "top down" and "bottom up" approaches. It is argued about the necessity and fruitfulness to combine both "top down" and "bottom up" approaches, and not to rely on one of them only. An example is given of the important role of process ontology as general methodological framework for the building up of regional formal ontology. Finally, the idea of variable ontological categories is stressed on and argued for its fruitfulness. 展开更多

Equipment selection for industrial process usually requires the extensive participation of industrial experts and technologists, which causes a serious waste of resources. This work presents an equipment selection knowledge base system for industrial styrene process(S-ESKBS) based on the ontology technology. This structure includes a low-level knowledge base and a top-level interactive application. As the core part of the S-ESKBS, the low-level knowledge base consists of the equipment selection ontology library, equipment selection rule set and Pellet inference engine. The top-level interactive application is implemented using S-ESKBS, including the parsing storage layer, inference query layer and client application layer. Case studies for the industrial styrene process equipment selection of an analytical column and an alkylation reactor are demonstrated to show the characteristics and implementability of the S-ESKBS. 展开更多

The expression of UC001 kfo m RNA in t... The differential expression of genes in HepG2 cells caused by UC001 kfo RNAi was investigated using RNA-seq. HepG2 cells were infected by Lenti-sh UC001 kfo lentivirus particles. The expression of UC001 kfo m RNA in the HepG2-sh UC001 kfo cell line was detected by real-time PCR. RNA-seq technology was used to identify the difference in the expression of genes regulated by lnc RNA UC001 kfo in the HepG2 cell line. Gene ontology and signaling pathway analysis were performed to reveal the biological functions of the genes encoding of significantly different m RNAs. The results showed that m RNAs were differentially expressed between the HepG2-sh UC001 kfo cell line and the HepG2 cell line. The UC001 kfo m RNA was significantly down-regulated in the stable cell line HepG2-sh UC001kfo(P〈0.001). Additionally, we found 19 signaling pathways or functional classifications encompassing 30 genes that played a role in cancer characteristics, cell adhesion, invasion and migration. The results also showed that the expression of many genes associated with cancer cell invasion and metastasis was decreased with the down-regulation of the lnc RNA UC001 kfo. Lnc RNA UC001 kfo may play a role in regulating cancer cell invasion and metastasis. It was suggested that m RNAs were differentially expressed in the HepG2 cell line after the down-regulation of lnc RNA-UC001 kfo. Some took part in the extracellular matrix, cell adhesion, motility, growth, and localization. The genes encoding of differentially expressed m RNAs may participate in cell invasion and metastasis. 展开更多
