With the progress and development of information society,electronic business(e-Business) becomes a new model of business.E-Business does lower the cost of trading significantly;furthermore it allows restructuring the ...With the progress and development of information society,electronic business(e-Business) becomes a new model of business.E-Business does lower the cost of trading significantly;furthermore it allows restructuring the supply chain,business processes, and the nature of business.Open standard plays an important role in expanding e-Business,ranging from the Internet protocol(TCP/IP,HTTP...) to nearly all aspects of information technology that related to e-Business.More importantly,openness has emerged as a strategy with many of the most successful e-Business ventures granting business partner and consumers unparallel access to their inner working and personnel.Open standards have given rise to a prodigious international expansion in the number of users and range of applications relevant to daily life.The traditional market failure argument suggests that because innovation is expensive to produce and cheap to copy,so more intellectual property incorporated into the standards,and e-Business is inevitable.This paper defines the new framework of e-Business,which describes the relationship of the public benefit from Open Standard and the private benefit from intellectual property and try to find a balance between the benefits of the patent holders,industry,and end-users in order to realize a winning situation for all parties.展开更多

Before AR can be used in the mass market, there are a number of obstacles that need to be overcome. Several of these can be overcome by adopting open standards. A global grassroots community seeking open, interoperable AR content and experiences began to take shape in early 2010. This community is working collaboratively to reduce the barriers to the flow of data from content provider to AR end user. Standards development organizations and industry groups that provide open interfaces for AR meet regularly to provide updates, identify complementary work, and seek harmonization. The community also identifies deployer and implementer needs, communicates requirements, and discusses emerging challenges that could be resolved with standards. In this article, we describe current activities in international standards-development organizations. We summarize the AR standards gap analysis and shed light on special considerations for using standards in mobile AR.展开更多

Surrounding the theme of this year's World Standards Day - "Standards for a Safer World", the meeting made publicized the status of construction and implementation of the food safety and production safety standard system of our country,the result of clearance on national standards and the announcement of formal operation of the system for online free-of-charge access to the full text of national compulsory standards, and the system for online distribution and service of national standards. Attending the meeting were Li Changjiang, Director of AQSIQ, Li Chuanqing,Party Group Secretary of AQSIQ, Li Zhonghai, Director of SAC, high-ranking officers of relevant departments of the State Council, Chen Xiaohong, Vice-minister of Ministry of Health, Wang Xianzheng, Vice-director of the National General Bureau of Supervision and Administration on Production Safety, and representatives and experts from enterprises of various sectors with a total of over 300 people.
