The vacuum region on the right of POS is included in the model and the influence of downstream flow on the conduction characteristics is discussed. It is found that with the penetration of magnetic field, the pure hydrogen plasma is pushed downstream significantly; and POS still conducts current after the magnetic field arrives at the load edge of POS, which is different from the previous experimental results in a multispecies POS. It is because that the noticeable downstream plasma in the pure hydrogen POS may continue to conduct the current, while in the multispecies POS, the downstream plasma is unimportant so that the conduction phase ends soon after the magnetic field reaches the load edge. The scaling relation obtained from the simulations including the downstream region is consistent with the experimental results.展开更多

To understand the formation process of vacuum gap in coaxial microsecond conduction time plasma opening switch(POS),we have made measurements of the line-integrated plasma density during switch operation using a time-...To understand the formation process of vacuum gap in coaxial microsecond conduction time plasma opening switch(POS),we have made measurements of the line-integrated plasma density during switch operation using a time-resolved sensitive He-Ne interferometer.The conduction current and conduction time in experiments are about 120 kA and 1 s,respectively.As a result,more than 85%of conduction current has been transferred to an inductive load with rise time of 130 ns.The radial dependence of the density is measured by changing the radial location of the line-of-sight for shots with the same nominal POS parameters.During the conduction phase,the line-integrated plasma density in POS increases at all radial locations over the gun-only case by further ionization of material injected from the guns.The current conduction is observed to cause a radial redistribution of the switch plasma.A vacuum gap forms rapidly in the plasma at 5.5 mm from the center conductor,which is consistent with the location where magnetic pressure is the largest,allowing current to be transferred from the POS to the load.展开更多
Software-Defined Networking(SDN)is a new network technology that uses programming to complement the data plane with a control plane.To enable safe connection,however,numerous security challenges must be addressed.Floo...Software-Defined Networking(SDN)is a new network technology that uses programming to complement the data plane with a control plane.To enable safe connection,however,numerous security challenges must be addressed.Flooding attacks have been one of the most prominent risks on the internet for decades,and they are now becoming challenging difficulties in SDN networks.To solve these challenges,we proposed a unique firewall application built on multiple levels of packet filtering to provide a flooding attack prevention system and a layer-based packet detection system.This study offers a systematic strategy for wrapping up the examination of SDN operations.The Mininet simulator examines the effectiveness of SDN-based firewalls at various network tiers.The fundamental network characteristics that specify how SDN should operate.The three main analytical measures of the network are jitter,response time,and throughput.During regular operations,their behavior evaluates in the standard SDN conditions of Transmission Control Protocol(TCP)flooding and User Datagram Protocol(UDP)flooding with no SDN occurrences.Low Orbit Ion Cannon(LOIC)is applied to launch attacks on the transmission by the allocated server.Wireshark and MATLAB are used for the behavioral study to determine how sensitive the parameters are used in the SDN network and monitor the fluctuations of those parameters for different simulated scenarios.展开更多

A precision of about 0.2° in phase measurements was achieved with a minimum line-integrated plasma density as low as 8.3× 10^13 cm^-2. With this interferometer, the characteristics of the plasma generated by a cable plasma gun was investigated systematically. The reproducibility, spatial and temporal distributions and the averaged injection velocity of the plasma are presented. In addition, the interaction of the plasma flow with a conductor was studied by placing a metal plate in the downstream of the cable gun.展开更多
Pneumatic proportional control servo regulator is the core component of a pneumatic-loading experimental system,which is very important in solving the overcharging problem.However,previous research on control of pneum...Pneumatic proportional control servo regulator is the core component of a pneumatic-loading experimental system,which is very important in solving the overcharging problem.However,previous research on control of pneumatic proportional regulator in a pneumatic-loading experimental system led to failure in analysis of the influence of opening error of the switch regulator because it did not analyze the regulator basic working principle and process.The traditional control method cannot fully solve the overcharging problem nor ensure adequate control performance of the regulator.After seriously studying the working principle and key mechanical parameters of the valve,a fuzzy parameter-adaptive controller is designed by introducing a linear mixture of the pressure and opening errors of the switch regulator to reduce pressure overshoot and optimize its control performance.According to the fuzzy-control strategy based on the working characteristics and mechanical parameters of the valve,the overshoot phenomenon of the pneumatic-loading system is solved,and the pressure overshoot is eliminated.The error of the output air pressure of the regulator is 1.24%,which is small.The adjustable pressure range of the regulator is 0.2–0.6 MPa.The maximum deviation is 0.012 MPa.The linearity of the case is 1.34%F.S.展开更多
