The progress of international methods for phenolic compounds was reviewed from 1938 to the end of 1995. The references dealt mainly with the progress of study on optical determining methods, e.g. visible , UV , derivative , fluorescent , infrared absorptive , atomic absorptive photometries for phenolic compounds in waste water, and application of the above mentioned methods in environmental monitoring.展开更多
