The aircraft movement model was built. According to the degree of coupling, the model can be classified into a simple model or a complicated model. Using an optimal control method, two different movement models gave out the aircraft's attitude angle optimal flight path. Complicated model's optimal solution can be found by the genetic algorithm. This method can transfer the analytic solution of complicated model to a numerical value solution. Comparing the simulation results of different methods, it showed that the genetic algorithm combined with the complicated model's numerical value solution had the best performance in control strategy. This method solved the problem in which the highly coupling complicated model's analytic solution was hard to obtain. It verified that the genetic algorithm has validity in the field of extended range solution searching.展开更多
Machine Learning(ML)systems often involve a re-training process to make better predictions and classifications.This re-training process creates a loophole and poses a security threat for ML systems.Adversaries leverag...Machine Learning(ML)systems often involve a re-training process to make better predictions and classifications.This re-training process creates a loophole and poses a security threat for ML systems.Adversaries leverage this loophole and design data poisoning attacks against ML systems.Data poisoning attacks are a type of attack in which an adversary manipulates the training dataset to degrade the ML system’s performance.Data poisoning attacks are challenging to detect,and even more difficult to respond to,particularly in the Internet of Things(IoT)environment.To address this problem,we proposed DISTINIT,the first proactive data poisoning attack detection framework using distancemeasures.We found that Jaccard Distance(JD)can be used in the DISTINIT(among other distance measures)and we finally improved the JD to attain an Optimized JD(OJD)with lower time and space complexity.Our security analysis shows that the DISTINIT is secure against data poisoning attacks by considering key features of adversarial attacks.We conclude that the proposed OJD-based DISTINIT is effective and efficient against data poisoning attacks where in-time detection is critical for IoT applications with large volumes of streaming data.展开更多
In order to ensure the effective analysis and reconstruction of forests,it is key to ensure the quantitative description of their spatial structure.In this paper,a distance model for the optimal stand spatial structur...In order to ensure the effective analysis and reconstruction of forests,it is key to ensure the quantitative description of their spatial structure.In this paper,a distance model for the optimal stand spatial structure based on weighted Voronoi diagrams is proposed.In particular,we provide a novel methodological model for the comprehensive evaluation of the spatial structure of forest stands in natural mixed conifer-broadleaved forests and the formulation of management decision plans.The applicability of the rank evaluation and the optimal solution distance model are compared and assessed for different standard sample plots of natural mixed conifer-broadleaved forests.The effect of crown width on the spatial structure unit of the trees is observed to be higher than that of the diameter at breast height.Moreover,the influence of crown length is greater than that of tree height.There are nine possible spatial structure units determined by the weighted Voronoi diagram for the number of neighboring trees in the central tree,with an average intersection of neighboring crowns reaching 80%.The rank rating of natural forest sample plots is correlated with the optimal solution distance model,and their results are generally consistent for natural forests.However,the rank rating is not able to provide a quantitative assessment.The optimal solution distance model is observed to be more comprehensive than traditional methods for the evaluation of the spatial structure of forest stands.It can effectively reflect the trends in realistic stand spatial structure factors close to or far from the ideal structure point,and accurately assesses the forest spatial structure.The proposed optimal solution distance model improves the integrated evaluation of the spatial structure of forest stands and provides solid theoretical and technical support for sustainable forest management.展开更多
To control missile's miss distance as well as terminal impact angle, by involving the timeto-go-nth power in the cost function, an extended optimal guidance law against a constant maneuvering target or a stationary t...To control missile's miss distance as well as terminal impact angle, by involving the timeto-go-nth power in the cost function, an extended optimal guidance law against a constant maneuvering target or a stationary target is proposed using the linear quadratic optimal control theory.An extended trajectory shaping guidance(ETSG) law is then proposed under the assumption that the missile-target relative velocity is constant and the line of sight angle is small. For a lag-free ETSG system, closed-form solutions for the missile's acceleration command are derived by the method of Schwartz inequality and linear simulations are performed to verify the closed-form results. Normalized adjoint systems for miss distance and terminal impact angle error are presented independently for stationary targets and constant maneuvering targets, respectively. Detailed discussions about the terminal misses and impact angle errors induced by terminal impact angle constraint, initial heading error, seeker zero position errors and target maneuvering, are performed.展开更多

The method is based on a system which can predict the final R(f) v...A computer-assisted method is presented for optimization of mobile phase compositions and development distance in gradient two-step development HPTLC. The method is based on a system which can predict the final R(f) values for gradient two-step development from values measured using five preliminary runs. The statistical scanning method is then used for optimization, using R(f) difference as the selection criterion. The method was evaluated using a mixture of eight components. Excellent agreement was obtained between predicted and experimental results.展开更多
