In accordance with the situation, the goal of language teaching is shifting from linguistic competence to communicative competence. To accomplish this goal, we have made some investigations into students＇ current oral proficiency and their English language needs, as well as a detailed analysis of the factors constraining the development of oral proficiency. And in the light of the principles of communicative language teaching, practical ways of reform are proposed in this thesis. Among the factors teaching methodology is highlighted, which is crucial in the enhancement of learners＇ oral competence in EFL situation.展开更多
