Studies have shown that the organic products... With the improvement of people's standard of living, the demand for or- ganic rice is increasing and its production has also attracted more and more atten- tion of people. Studies have shown that the organic products contain more iron, magnesium, calcium and other trace elements and vitamins C, and lower contents of heavy metals and carcinogenic nitrates. In recent years, organic rice wins the fa- vor of consumers due to its pure natural and pollution-free advantages. Based on the planting area selection, organic rice variety screening, fertilization, control of dis- eases and insect pests and harvesting, this article specifically discussed the cultiva- tion techniques of organic rice and developed the cultivation technology regulation of organic rice in Yellow Rive irrigated area of Ningxia, in order to lay the foundation for speeding up the development of organic rice industry and establishing highly standardized and normalized organic rice production base, thereby promoting the standardization of organic rice production. 展开更多

In the current study,the ecosystem services(ES) of conventional and organic rice paddies in Wannian,Jiangxi Province,China are investigated.First,the ES at the field level under organic and conventional paddies were investigated.Total economic value of ES in organic rice paddies was 30093.08 yuan RMB/ha per year and that of conventional rice paddies was 22 793.31 yuan RMB/ha per year.The total indirect value of ES was 14 813.7 yuan RMB/ha per year in organic rice paddies and 12 424.56 yuan RMB/ha per year in conventional ones.There were significant differences between organic and conventional rice paddies for the economic values.Then,this economic information was used to extrapolate and to calculate the total and indirect value of ES from rice paddies in Wangnian.The total and indirect economic values of ES from conventional rice paddies in Wannian were 6791 million and 3702 million yuan RMB per year respectively,and the total and indirect economic values of ES from organic rice paddies in Wannian were 1311 million and 646 million yuan RMB per year.If half the area had being converted to organic farming in Wannian,the total and indirect economic values of ES from conventional rice paddies were 3397 million and 1851 million yuan RMB per year,and the total and indirect economic values of ES from organic rice paddies were 5794 million and 2852 million yuan RMB per year.Finally,the total economic value of ES in rice paddies in Wannian was demonstrated through geographic information system techniques. 展开更多

[Result] The content of organic matter improved generally in fields of organic rice in Daizhuang. Specifically, the contents of N, P and K were not high, and the contents of N and P declined in the fields with crop rotation of organic rice Astragalus sin# cus, but the content of K increased. [Conclusion] It is of great significance for soil fertility to develop and promote crop rotation of organic rice Astragalus sinicus, which also advances quality of organic rice. 展开更多

Diclofop-methyl(DM),a widely used herbicide in food crops,may partly contaminate the soil surface of natural ecosystems in agricultural area and exert toxic effects at low dose to nontarget plants.Even though rhizosphere microorganisms strongly interact with root cells,little is known regarding their potential modulating effect on herbicide toxicity in plants.Here we exposed rice seedlings(Xiushui 63) to 100 μg/L DM for 2 to 8 days and studied the effects of DM on rice rhizosphere microorganisms,rice systemic acquired resistance(SAR) and rice-microorganisms interactions.The results of metagenomic 16 S rDNA Illumina tags show that DM increases bacterial biomass and affects their community structure in the rice rhizosphere.After DM treatment,the relative abundance of the bacterium genera Massilia and Anderseniella increased the most relative to the control.In parallel,malate and oxalate exudation by rice roots increased,potentially acting as a carbon source for several rhizosphere bacteria.Transcriptomic analyses suggest that DM induced SAR in rice seedlings through the salicylic acid(but not the jasmonic acid) signal pathway.This response to DM stress conferred resistance to infection by a pathogenic bacterium,but was not influenced by the presence of bacteria in the rhizosphere since SAR transcripts did not change significantly in xenic and axenic plant roots exposed to DM.The present study provides new insights on the response of rice and its associated microorganisms to DM stress. 展开更多
