In insects,the sense of smell is mainly mediated by olfactory receptors(Ors).Olfactory co-receptor(Orco),which is coexpressed with the Ors in almost all olfactory receptor neurons(ORNs),is demonstrated to be an essential component in the insect olfactory system.It can be potential target for developing novel olfactory-disruption strategy to control insect pests.In this study,two full-length cDNA sequences encoding Orcos(CmedOrco and ChsupOrco) were cloned from two Lepidopteran rice pests,the rice leaffolder,Cnaphalocrocis medinalis and the rice striped stem borer,Chilo suppressalis.The amino acid sequences of CmedOrco and ChsupOrco showed high similarity to the previously identified Orcos from other insect species. Bioinformatic prediction and cellular immunofluorescence indicated that CmedOrco and ChsupOrco were both seven-transmembrane proteins with intracellular N-termini and extracellular C-termini.mRNA expression levels of the two Orcos were much higher in male and female antennae than those in non-olfactory tissues,and the ChsupOrco transcripts reached a peak level in adults compared to other life stages.Our results provide a foundation from which it will be possible to elucidate the roles of Orco in moth olfaction and for the development of environment-friendly management strategies of these two rice insect pests. 展开更多

The fast convergence without initial value dependence is the key to solving large angle relative orientation.Therefore,a hybrid conjugate gradient algorithm is proposed in this paper.The concrete process is:①stochastic hill climbing(SHC)algorithm is used to make a random disturbance to the given initial value of the relative orientation element,and the new value to guarantee the optimization direction is generated.②In local optimization,a super-linear convergent conjugate gradient method is used to replace the steepest descent method in relative orientation to improve its convergence rate.③The global convergence condition is that the calculation error is less than the prescribed limit error.The comparison experiment shows that the method proposed in this paper is independent of the initial value,and has higher accuracy and fewer iterations. 展开更多

Molecular packing patterns are crucial factors determining electron/energy transfer processes that are critical for the optoelectronic properties of organic thin film devices.Herein,the polarization-selective ultraviolet/infrared(UV/IR)mixed frequency ultrafast spectroscopy is applied to investigate the relative molecular orientations in two organic thin films of 7-(diethylamino)coumarin-3-carboxylic acid(DEAC)and perylene.The signal anisotropy changes caused by intermolecular energy/electron transfers are utilized to calculate the cross angles between the electronic transition dipole moment of the donor and the vibrational transition dipole moments of the acceptor,yielding the relative orientation between two adjacent molecules.Using this method,the relative orientation angle in DEAC film is determined to be 53.4°,close to 60°of its single crystalline structure,and that of the perylene film is determined to be 6.2°,also close to-0.2°of its single crystalline structure.Besides experimental uncertainties,the small difference between the angles determined by this method and those of single crystals also results from the fact that the thin film samples are polycrystalline where some of the molecules are amorphous. 展开更多

The α alloy Ti-2Al-2.5Zr and near α alloy Ti-4Al-2V were hydrogenated to various levels. The morphology, orientation relation (OR), and habit plane of the hydrides were studied by means of transmission electron microscopy (TEM). It was found that in the two alloys most of the precipitates are δ-hydrides which have fcc structure with the lattice parameter a = 0.44 nm. Two basic orientation relationships and habit planes of the precipitates are determined. Twin structure was observed in both alloys. 展开更多

This paper presents a practical iterative algorithm for two-view metric reconstruction without any prior knowledge about the scene and motion in a nonsingular geometry configuration. The principal point is assumed to locate at the image center with zero skew and the same aspect ratio, and the interior parameters are fixed, so the self-calibration becomes focal-length cali- bration. Existing focal length calibration methods are direct solutions of a quadric composed of fundamental matrix, which are sensitive to noise. A quaternion-based linear iterative Least-Square Method is proposed in this paper, and one-dimensional searching for optimal focal length in a constrained region instead of solving optimization problems with inequality constraints is applied to simplify the computation complexity, then unique rotational matrix and translate vector are recovered. Experiments with simulation data and real images are given to verify the algorithm. 展开更多

In this paper, a low frequency detection model is established by using the principle of relative orientation, and the low frequency error is obtained by parallax elimination. Finally, the satellite attitude is compensated and the more accurate exterior orientation elements are obtained, thus improving the positioning accuracy and stability. The experimental results show that: the proposed methods are feasible, and by using the model to dynamically calibrate the exterior orientation angle elements on orbit, the plane and elevation errors of the ground points can be basically eliminated. The global uncontrollable positioning accuracy and stability of the photogrammetry satellite are improved. </div> 展开更多

Microstructures in X80 line pipe were classified by SEM analysis.The experimental results showed that the microstructures in X 80 line pipe steels were complicated consisting of polygonal ferrite,bainite and acicular ferrite.Orientation relation within acicular ferrite was investigated systematically by means of EBSD-OIM.The sub-structures were observed maximum in acicular ferrite which gives high strength and high toughness to line pipe steels.The K-S orientation relation was generally observed between acicular ferrite and austenite during phase transformation.The low energy CSL boundary characterized by Σ3 orientation relation according to Brandon criterion appeared with higher probability,which was benefit to improve the mechanical properties of line pipe steels.The orientations or texture of initial austenite grains could be deduced based on the Σ3 orientation relationship of acicular ferrite variants. 展开更多
