Immediate, Fast, and Overcome Response of the Organism in Response to Energy Osteopathy on the Model of Primary Gonarthrosis (Polyparametric and Statistical Studies)

In 26 patients with confirmed primary verified gonarthrosis(PGA),a clinical and instrumental examination was conducted to evaluate the response energy osteopathy followed by statistical processing of the data.Three types of the body’s response to treatment were identified:immediate,fast,and delayed,which,despite the different informative value of the data of the polyparametric study,allowed judging the effectiveness of the method used.

Osteopathy and Emergency: A Model of Osteopathic Treatment Aimed at Managing the Post-Traumatic Stress—Brief and Useful Guide—Part 2

This work aims to describe a well standardized therapeutic path in reference to the article “Osteopathy and Emergency: A Model of Osteopathic Treatment Aimed at Managing the Post-Traumatic Stress—Part 1 in the form of a practical guide for manual therapist, Open Journal of Therapy and Rehabilitation, Vol. 10, No. 7, July 2018, https://doi.org/10.4236/health.2018.107074”. The osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) approach we propose can be complementary to the psychological therapy in use today, and consists of ten standardized techniques directed to the anatomical structures more involved in the stress answer. This protocol was designed to improve and sustain the management of subjects exposed to extraordinary exogenous stress or post-traumatic stress disorder patients (PTSD).

Investigation of Therapeutic Effect of Traditional Mongolian Osteopathy Manual Reduction with Medicinal Wine Spraying Massage and Small Splint External Fixation Therapy for Treatment of Neerll-type Distal Humerus Fracture

Objectives:To investigate the effect of traditional Mongolian osteopathy manual reduction with medicinal wine spraying massage and small splint external fixation therapy for treatment of Neerll-type distal humerus fractures.Methods:Sample selection was carried out during time period from November 2014 to May 2019.Sixty-six patients admitted to our hospital were selected as sample patients.The control group was given plaster treatment,while the observation group was given traditional Mongolian osteopathy manual reduction with medicinal wine spraying massage and small splint external fixation therapy.Efficacy for the two groups of patients was observed.Results:In this study,the total effective rate of observation group patients with treatment of traditional Mongolian osteopathy manual reduction with medicinal wine spraying massage and small splint external fixation therapy was 100%.Meanwhile,total effective rate of patients in control group was 87.88%.The difference was significant,P<0.05.Conclusions:In this study of clinical treatment,traditional Mongolian osteopathy manual reduction with medicinal wine spraying massage and small splint external fixation therapy could provide better therapeutic effect for treatment of patients with Neerll-type distal humerus fracture.At the same time,it reduces economic burden of patients.It has higher promotion value for clinical practice.

Classification and reduction manipulation of fractures in Chinese traditional Mongolian osteopathy

OBJECTIVE:To explore the concept of classification and reduction manipulation of fractures in Chinese traditional Mongolian osteopathy.METHODS:Based on the linear classification of fractures in Chinese traditional Mongolian osteopathy and the practice of reduction manipulation,a dynamic classification and reduction manipulation concept of fractures was established with the use of modern biomechanical principles and methods.RESULTS:We classified the linear classification and reduction manipulation of fractures in Chinese traditional Mongolian osteopathy based on the achievement of fracture line and used the cause of the formation of the fracture line for our dynamic classification and reduction manipulation of fractures concept.CONCLUSION:The etiology of the formation of fracture lines can be used to decrease diagnostic error,increase therapeutic effects of manipulation,and further provide a new concept and method for the development of the reduction concept of fractures.

Ideas, properties, and standards of fracture repositioning with osteopathy in traditional Mongolian medicine in China

OBJECTIVE: To explore the unique ideas, properties, and standards of fracture repositioning with osteopathy in traditional Mongolian medicine in China.METHODS: Based on the natural life concept of "integration of universe and man," osteopathy in traditional Mongolian medicine in China uses the modern principles and methods of physiology, psychol-ogy, and biomechanics. Against this background,we explored the unique ideas, properties, and standards of fracture repositioning in traditional Mongolian medicine.RESULTS: Fracture treatment with osteopathy in traditional Mongolian medicine in China is based on(a) the ideas of natural, sealed, self and dynamic repositioning of fractures;(b) the properties of structural continuity and functional completeness;(c) the standards of "integration of movement and stillness" and "force to force." CONCLUSION: The unique ideas, properties, and standards of fracture repositioning with osteopathy in traditional Mongolian medicine in China have resulted in the widespread use of such techniques and represents the future direction of the development of fracture repositioning.

An exploration of the origin and flow of the development of traditional Chinese medicine orthopedic and chiropractic massage

Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)chiropractic massage is a kind of orthopedic therapy that corrects the abnormal anatomical position of bone or joint and corrects the dislocation of joint by manipulation so that the bone is soft and the Qi and blood are reconciled(Qi:The intangible,high-mobility nutritive substance that maintains vital activities).Manipulation treatment is the first of the four major orthopedic diseases.At the same time,TCM chiropractic massage is also an essential part of TCM.TCM orthopedic chiropractic practice originated from the struggle between humanity and nature,sprouted from the Warring States period to the two Han Dynasty,formed in the Sui,Tang,and Song Dynasties,matured in the Ming and Qing Dynasties,and flourished in the modern era.In more than 2,000 years of development,many practical techniques have been produced,which have profoundly influenced the inheritance and development of modern techniques,making the TCM orthopedic chiropractic massage in the contemporary era form the characteristics of“tendon and bone”and“point-line-face combination”.At present,the development of TCM chiropractic massage is facing the great challenges of modern medicine and modern advanced science and technology such as American chiropractic and the limitations of its development.Therefore,in the future,the development direction of Chinese medicine orthopedic chiropractic massage should be“hybrid to treat”.In the face of modern medicine,we should take its essence to its dross,eclectic,organically integrate its advantages into itself,enrich its theoretical framework,and strengthen the construction of disciplines and departments to enhance its competitiveness.It is believed that Chinese medicine orthopedic chiropractic massage can have better development in the future and can make more contributions to the health of the world’s people.

Refining the Reference Values of Diers 4D Formetric System and Introducing a Qualitative Spine Profile Based on Percentile Ranking

Background: In order to detect possible abnormalities of the spine posture of an individual patient, it is mandatory to dispose of adequate reference values based on measurements in a normal, symptom-free population. The Diers formetric?system allows for non-invasive and accurate assessment of the vertebral column based on the registration of external aspect of the back surface using the Moiré principle. Objective: To create a qualitative spine profile based on the percentile ranking of measurements obtained by the Diers formetric system taking into account possible confounding factors. Materials and Methods: Statistical analysis of formetric recordings in 216 symptom-free volunteers. Results: Maximal kyphotic angle, maximal scoliotic angle, sagittal imbalance, flèche cervicale, and pelvic inclination are significantly influenced by gender and by body mass index (BMI). A synoptic chart was created presenting the percentile ranking taking into account gender and BMI. The percentile ranking was summarized in both a table with colour code and depicted in a histogram of the individual’s Qualitative Spine Profile (QSP). Clinical Significance: Percentile ranking and the Quantitative Spine Profile taking into account gender and BMI should permit a more precise and reliable assessment of possible posture deviations related to the patient’s complaints, and may assist the therapist in selecting the best mode of treatment.

Research Progress on Biological Activity of Sciadopitysin

Sciadopitysin(SP)belongs to flavonoids.Recent studies showed that sciadopitysin has anti-tumor,anti-oxidation,treatment of osteoporosis,diabetic osteopathy,Alzheimer's disease and other effects.This study will review the biological activity and related action mechanism of the sciadopitysin in recent years,in order to provide theoretical basis and reference for the future research and drug development of the sciadopitysin.

Posterior pedicle screw fixation combined with local steroid injections for treating axial eosinophilic granulomas and atlantoaxial dislocation:A case report

BACKGROUND Eosinophilic granuloma(EG)is a proliferative condition that affects the cells of bone tissue.There are no specific clinical signs or imaging manifestations in the early stages of the disease,making it simple to overlook and misdiagnose.Because of the disease's rarity,there is presently no standardized treatment principle.There are few accounts of such occurrences affecting the axis among children.We discovered a case of a child whose EG resulted in atlantoaxial joint dislocation and destruction of the axial bone.CASE SUMMARY After having pharyngeal discomfort for more than six months without a clear explanation,a 6-year-old boy was brought to our hospital.Following a careful evaluation,the pathology indicated a strong likelihood of an axial EG.Ultimately,we decided to treat the boy with posterior pedicle screw fixation and local steroid injections.CONCLUSION EGs of the upper cervical spine are quite uncommon in children,and they are exceedingly easy to overlook or misdiagnose.Posterior pedicle screw fixation and local steroid injections are effective treatments for patients with axial EGs affecting the atlantoaxial junction.

The Influence of Health Qigong on the Subjectively Expressed Psychophysical State of Patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis,Rheum,Osteoporosis,Osteopenia

This study assesses the impact of exercise on the health of the Qigong(Jibengong,Health Qigong Ba Duan Jin and Health Qigong Yi Jin Jing)in patients with rheumatoid arthritis,rheumatism,osteoporosis,osteopenia.Through the given questionnaire we have come up with data showing how and how much health qigong affects the patients with rheumatoid arthritis,rheumatism,osteoporosis,osteopenia according to the subjective assessment.

Dura Mater: Anatomy and Clinical Implication

The dura mater is of similar embryological origin to the fascial organ. It contains several fibroblasts which make the dura mater a flexible structure. Dura mater is the outermost of the three layers of meninges, a thick and rigid inelastic membrane that covers the brain and spinal cord and that is impermeable to the cerebrospinal fluid. The cranial dura mater in certain respects differs anatomically from the dura material in the spinal cord, and it is important to classify them separately. This article reviews the anatomical structure of spinal and cranial dura mater and its anatomy with muscle, fascia, bone structure and ligaments. Dura mater is a structure in the body that is connected with systemic functions.

Using simulation in complementary medicine education:an overview of clinical trials

Backgroundand Aim:Using simulation in learning medical interventions is a common practice.Simulation techniques provided a safe environment for trainees and students to acquire clinical skills and knowledge to practice in a real clinical environment.The aim of this review is to assess the use of health simulation in the field of complementary medicine education.Methods:Three medical databases were searched from inception to 15 November 2021.The inclusion criteria were clinical trials that used simulation in the field of complementary medicine training and in English language and the full text can be retrieved.Results:After searching,495 articles were retrieved,235 articles were excluded for duplication and 249 articles were excluded after screening of titles/abstracts and applying inclusion and exclusion criteria.Finally,11 articles were included in this review.These clinical trials had 719 participants and reported positive impact of using simulation in complementary medicine education.Conclusion:Simulation wasused for training of some complementary medicine therapies such as chiropractic,acupuncture,massage therapy,cupping therapy and osteopathy.Using simulation in complementary medicine education is recommended to ensure a safe environment for training.Conducting high quality clinical trials to evaluate the use of simulation in complementary medicine education is highly recommended.

Biological macro-idea and criterion of osteopathic fracture immobilization in China's traditional mongolian medicine

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the biological macro-idea and criterion of osteopathic fracture immobilization in China's traditional Mongolian medicine.METHODS:Based on biological naturalism regarding the relationship between man and universe(including psychosomatic integration) in osteopathic fracture immobilization in China's traditional Mongolian medicine,we used modern physiopsychological and biomechanical principles and methods to investigate the biological macro-characteristics of humanization,behaviorism,and wholism in "dynamic" fixation of fractures.RESULTS:Osteopathic fracture immobilization in China's traditional Mongolian medicine is based on the fixation criterion of macro-idea and method as well as on geometry,mechanics,motion,and stress and psychological stability in "non-sheltered fixation" of fractures contained in the life view of nature,regarding the relationship between man and universe(including psychosomatic integration) and on harmony between the limbs and the whole body,between body and function,and between man and nature.CONCLUSIONS:Osteopathic fracture immobilization in China's traditional Mongolian medicine is fixation without trauma or shelter.The principle and method of whole,dynamic,and functional fixation of fractures is not only radical,but also represents a new direction for developing the principle and method of fracture immobilization.
