In contrast with related works, only the most fundamental requirements, i.e., boundedness and the local Lipschitz condition, are assumed for the allowable time delays. Moreover, we focus on the case where the reference is unknown beforehand, which renders the standard prescribed performance control designs under output constraints infeasible. To conquer these challenges, a novel robust prescribed performance control approach is put forward in this paper.Herein, a reverse tuning function is skillfully constructed and automatically generates a performance envelop for the tracking error. In addition, a unified performance analysis framework based on proof by contradiction and the barrier function is established to reveal the inherent robustness of the control system against the time delays. It turns out that the system output tracks the reference with a preassigned settling time and good accuracy, without constraint violations. A comparative simulation on a two-stage chemical reactor is carried out to illustrate the above theoretical findings.展开更多

In this study, the set stabilization problem and STC design of Boolean control networks are investigated via the semi-tensor product technique. On the one hand, the largest control invariant subset is calculated in terms of the strongly connected components of the state transition graph, by which a graph-theoretical condition for set stabilization is derived. On the other hand, a characteristic function is exploited to determine the triggering mechanism and feasible controls. And sensitivity analysis is an important method to study the influence weight of various parameters on damping force characteristics. A mathematical model of the output damping force on the MRF damper is established by the mechanism modeling method,a first order output sensitivity equation is deduced and the expression of the first order output sensitivity function is obtained. The first-order sensitivity functions of ten design parameters are solved, and the influence degree of system parameters change on the output force of MRF damper is analyzed by comparing the sensitivity index of the parameters. Two sensitivities of vibration velocity and control current are obtained through experiment to prove the other parameters sensitivity analysis conclusion by analogy verification, which provides guidance for the structure optimization design of MRF damper.展开更多

In order to cope with system uncertainties and input deadzone, the neural network technique is introduced because of its capability in approximation. In order to update the weights of the neural network, an adaptive control method is utilized to improve the system adaptability. Furthermore, the integral barrier Lyapunov function(IBLF) is adopt in control design to guarantee the condition of output constraints and boundedness of the corresponding tracking errors. The Lyapunov direct method is applied in the control design to analyze system stability and convergence. The results of conducted studies investigating the effects of videolaryngoscopies on hemodynamic response of tracheal intubation are conflicting. We know little about the effects of videolaryngoscopies on cardiac output changes during tracheal intubation. We compared cardiac output(COP) and hemodynamic responses in normal blood pressure(n=60) and hypertensive patients(n=60) among 3 intubation devices: the MAC, the UE videolaryngoscopy ?(UE), and the UE video intubation stylet ?(VS). Cardiac index(CI), stroke volume index(SVI), heart rate(HR), systolic blood pressure(SBP) and diastolic blood pressure(DBP) were recorded using Lidco Rapid V2? preinduction, preintubation, and every minute for the first 5 min after intubation. We assessed oropharyngeal and laryngeal structures injury as well. Intubation time was significantly shorter than MAC groups(P〈0.001) only in UE group of normotensive and hypertensive patients. In normotensive patients, there were no significant differences in any of COP variables or hemodynamic variables among the three devices. In hypertensive patients, SBP and DBP in the MAC group were significantly higher(P〈0.05 or 〈0.01) than the UE and VS groups at 1, 2 and 3 min after intubation, but there were no significant differences in CI, SVI and HR among the three devices. There was no significant difference in oropharyngeal and laryngeal structures injury among all groups. It was concluded that both the UE and VS attenuate only the hemodynamic response to intubation as compared with the MAC in hypertensive patients, but not in normotensive patients.展开更多

An adaptive output feedback NN tracking controller is designed by backstepping technique. NNs are used to approximate unknown functions dependent on time delay, Delay-dependent filters are introduced for state estimation. The domination method is used to deal with the smooth time-delay basis functions. The adaptive bounding technique is employed to estimate the upper bound of the NN approximation errors. Based on Lyapunov- Krasovskii functional, the semi-global uniform ultimate boundedness of all the signals in the closed-loop system is proved, The feasibility is investigated by two illustrative simulation examples.展开更多

Methods Patients who underwent orthopaedic surgery under general anesthesia and mechanical ventilation were divided into two groups randomly. Patients in the group Ⅰwere subjected to progressive central hypovolemia and correction of hypovolemia sequentially; patients in the Group Ⅱ were exposed to hypervolemia alone. Each step was implemented after 5 minutes when the hemodynamics was stable. SVV and cardiac index(CI) were recorded, and Pearson's product-moment correlation was used to analyze correlation between SVV and CI. Results Forty patients were included in this study, 20 cases in each group. For group Ⅰ patients, SVV was increased significantly along with blood volume reduction, and changes in CI were negatively correlated with changes in SVV(r=-0.605, P<0.01); SVV decreased significantly along with correction of blood volume; changes in CI were negatively correlated with changes in SVV(r=-0.651, P<0.01). For group Ⅱ patients, along with blood volume increase, SVV did not change significantly; changes in CI revealed no significant correlation with changes in SVV(r=0.067, P>0.05). Conclusion SVV is a useful indicator for hypovolemia, but not for hypervolemia.展开更多

An adaptive observer is proposed to identify the topology of a complex dynamical networks based on the Lyapunov stability theory. Here the output of the network and the states of the observer are used to construct the updating law of the topology such that the communication resources from the network to its observer are saved. Some convergent criteria of the adaptive observer are derived in the form of linear inequality matrices. 文摘Sustainable intensification of cultivated land use(SICLU) and large-scale operations(LSO) are widely acknowledged strategies for enhancing agricultural performance. However, the existing literature has faced challenges in precisely defining SICLU and constructing comprehensive indicators, which has hindered the exploration of factors influencing LSO within the SICLU framework. To address this gap,we integrated self-efficacy theory into the design of an index framework for evaluating SICLU.We subsequently employed econometric models to analyze the significant factors that impact LSO.Our findings reveal that SICLU can be divided into four key dimensions:intensive management, efficient output, resource conservation, and ecological environment optimization.Furthermore,it is crucial to incorporate belief-based cognitive factors into the index system,as farmers’ understanding of fertilizer and pesticide application significantly influences their willingness to engage in LSO.Moreover,we identify grain market turnover as the most influential factor in promoting LSO,with single-factor contribution rates reaching 70.9% for cultivated land transfer willingness and 62.5% for the total planting areas.Interestingly, unlike irrigation and agricultural machinery inputs, increased labor inputs correspond to larger planting areas for farmers. This trend may be attributed to reduced labor availability because of rural labor migration, whereas the reduction in irrigation and agricultural input is contingent on innovations in production practices and the transfer of cultivated land management rights.Importantly,SICLU dynamically influences LSO,with each index related to SICLU having an optimal range that fosters LSO.These insights offer valuable guidance for policymakers, emphasizing farmers as their central focus, with the adjustment of input and output factors as a means to achieve LSO as the ultimate goal.In conclusion,we propose research avenues for further enriching the SICLU framework to ensure that it aligns with the specific characteristics of regional agricultural development.

文摘With many features, the magnetorheological fluid( MRF) damper is widely applied in the semiactive vibration control system. Two sensitivities of vibration velocity and control current are obtained through experiment to prove the other parameters sensitivity analysis conclusion by analogy verification, which provides guidance for the structure optimization design of MRF damper.
文摘In this paper, a combination of model based adaptive design along with adaptive linear output feedback controller is used to compensate for robotic manipulator with output deadzone nonlinearity. The deadzone dynamics are utilized to adaptively estimate the deadzone parameter and a switching function is designed to eliminate the error produced in the adaptive observer dynamics. The overall design of the closed loop system ensures stability in the BIBO criterion.
文摘<div style="text-align:justify;"> <span style="font-family:Verdana;">We first recall the sufficient conditions for the existence of a periodic output of a modified Elman neural network with a periodic input found by using Mawhin’s continuation theorem of coincidence degree theory. Using this result, we obtain sufficient conditions for the existence of a periodic output for an output hidden feedback Elman neural network with a periodic input. 文摘In this paper, a study of control for an uncertain2-degree of freedom(DOF) helicopter system is given. The2-DOF helicopter is subject to input deadzone and output constraints. Finally, numerical simulations are conducted to prove the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed control based on the model of Quanser's 2-DOF helicopter.
文摘Tracheal intubation with Macintosh laryngoscope(MAC) might result in severe cardiovascular complications. It was concluded that both the UE and VS attenuate only the hemodynamic response to intubation as compared with the MAC in hypertensive patients, but not in normotensive patients.

文摘This paper extends the adaptive neural network (NN) control approaches to a class of unknown output feedback nonlinear time-delay systems. Based on Lyapunov- Krasovskii functional, the semi-global uniform ultimate boundedness of all the signals in the closed-loop system is proved, The feasibility is investigated by two illustrative simulation examples.
文摘Objective To observe the sensitivity of stroke volume variation(SVV) for assessing volume change during induction period of general anesthesia. Conclusion SVV is a useful indicator for hypovolemia, but not for hypervolemia.

文摘This paper studies the problem of fixed-time output consensus tracking for high-order multi-agent systems(MASs)with directed network topology with consideration of data packet dropout.First,a predictive compensation based distributed observer is presented to compensate for packet dropout and estimate the leader’s states.Next, stability analysis is conducted to prove fixed time convergence of the developed distributed observer. Then, adaptive fixed-time dynamic surface control is designed to counteract mismatched disturbances introduced by observation error, and stabilize the tracking error system within a fixed time, which overcomes explosion of complexity problem and singularity problem. Finally, simulation results are provided to verify the effectiveness and superiority of the consensus tracking strategy proposed. The contribution of this paper is to provide a fixed-time distributed observer design method for high-order MAS under directed graph subject to packet dropout, and a novel fixed-time control strategy which can handle mismatched disturbances and overcome explosion of complexity and singularity problem.

文摘A problem of topology identification for complex dynamical networks is investigated in this paper. Several numerical examples are shown to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed observer.
