This study aims to investigate the feasibility of using decoration waste powder(DWP)as a partial replacement for fly ash(FA)in the preparation of geopolymer masonry mortar,and to examine the effect of different DWP re...This study aims to investigate the feasibility of using decoration waste powder(DWP)as a partial replacement for fly ash(FA)in the preparation of geopolymer masonry mortar,and to examine the effect of different DWP replacement rates(0%-40%)on the fresh and mechanical properties of the mortar.The results showed that each group of geopolymer masonry mortar exhibited excellent water retention performance,with a water retention rate of 100%,which was due to the unique geopolymer mortar system and high viscosity of the alkaline activator solution.Compared to the control group,the flowability of the mortar containing lower contents of DWP(10%and 20%)was higher.However,as the DWP replacement rate further increased,the flowability gradually decreased.The DWP could absorb the free water in the reaction system of geopolymer mortar,thereby limiting the occurrence of geopolymerization reaction.The incorporation of DWP in the mortar resulted in a decrease in compressive strength compared to the mortar without DWP.However,even at a replacement rate of 40%,the compressive strength of the mortar still exceeded 15 MPa,which met the requirements of the masonry mortar.It was feasible to use DWP in the geopolymer masonry mortar.Although the addition of DWP caused some performance loss,it did not affect its usability.展开更多
Nests are important structures for birds to raise their offspring and for signaling.Many birds incorporate feathers into the nest,since feathers were traditionally thought to serve the function of insulation.Hypothese...Nests are important structures for birds to raise their offspring and for signaling.Many birds incorporate feathers into the nest,since feathers were traditionally thought to serve the function of insulation.Hypotheses in recent years have considered that some birds place feathers in conspicuous locations in the nest for decoration to trigger a fear response in the competitors.In this study,we investigated whether decorative feathers could deter nest usurpation by Crested Mynas(Acridotheres cristatellus)by manipulating nest box contents.The results revealed that Crested Mynas preferred black feathers to white feathers as decorations and occupied nest boxes decorated with black feathers significantly less than those decorated with white feathers,suggesting that black decorative feathers in the nest could be more effective in preventing nest usurpation by Crested Mynas and that white decorative feathers may have other functions.The black feathers in the nest are prominently placed at the edge of the nest to convey the message that“this nest is occupied”or“the owner of this nest has been preyed upon”to visitor Crested Mynas,thus effectively preventing them from usurping the nest at a later stage.展开更多

Many orb-web spiders of the genus Cyclosa add prey remains, plant debris, moults, and/or eggsacs to their webs called web decorations. Web decorations resembling spider body colour pattern have been considered to camouflage the spider from predators. While this camouflage is obvious from a human's perspective, it has rarely been investigated from a predator's perspective. In this study, we tested the visibility of web decorations by calculating chromatic and achromatic contrasts of detritus and eggsae decorations built by Cyclosa octotubereulata, against four different backgrounds viewed by both bird (e.g., blue tits) and hymenopteran (e.g. wasps) predators. We showed that both juvenile and adult spiders on webs with detritus or egg-sac deco- rations were undetectable by both hymenopteran and bird predators over short and long distances. Our results thus suggest that decorating webs with detritus or eggsacs by C octotuberculata may camouflage the spiders from both hymenopteran and bird predators in their common habitats [Current Zoology 56 (3): 379-387, 2010].展开更多

Solid oxide electrolysis cells(SOECs),displaying high current density and energy efficiency,have been proven to be an effective technique to electrochemically reduce CO_(2)into CO.However,the insufficiency of cathode ...Solid oxide electrolysis cells(SOECs),displaying high current density and energy efficiency,have been proven to be an effective technique to electrochemically reduce CO_(2)into CO.However,the insufficiency of cathode activity and stability is a tricky problem to be addressed for SOECs.Hence,it is urgent to develop suitable cathode materials with excellent catalytic activity and stability for further practical application of SOECs.Herein,a reduced perovskite oxide,Pr_(0.35)Sr_(0.6)Fe_(0.7)Cu_(0.2)Mo_(0.1)O_(3-δ)(PSFCM0.35),is developed as SOECs cathode to electrolyze CO_(2).After reduction in 10%H_(2)/Ar,Cu and Fe nanoparticles are exsolved from the PSFCM0.35 lattice,resulting in a phase transformation from cubic perovskite to Ruddlesden-Popper(RP)perovskite with more oxygen vacancies.The exsolved metal nanoparticles are tightly attached to the perovskite substrate and afford more active sites to accelerate CO_(2)adsorption and dissociation on the cathode surface.The significantly strengthened CO_(2)adsorption capacity obtained after reduction is demonstrated by in situ Fourier transform-infrared(FT-IR)spectra.Symmetric cells with the reduced PSFCM0.35(R-PSFCM0.35)electrode exhibit a low polarization resistance of 0.43Ωcm^(2)at 850℃.Single electrolysis cells with the R-PSFCM0.35 cathode display an outstanding current density of 2947 mA cm^(-2)at 850℃and 1.6 V.In addition,the catalytic stability of the R-PSFCM0.35 cathode is also proved by operating at 800℃with an applied constant current density of 600 mA cm^(-2)for 100 h.展开更多

Transition metal nitrides have become the focus of research in sodium ion batteries(SIBs)due to their unique metal properties and high theoretical capacity.However,the low actual capacity is still the main bottleneck ...Transition metal nitrides have become the focus of research in sodium ion batteries(SIBs)due to their unique metal properties and high theoretical capacity.However,the low actual capacity is still the main bottleneck for their application.Herein,using Mo-aniline frameworks as precursors,the carbon encapsulated nitrogen-rich Mo_(x)N is decorated by few-layered MoSe_(2) nanosheets(MoSe_(2)@Mo_(x)N/C-I)after the facile calcinating,selenizing,and nitriding.The carbon encapsulation can effectively strengthen the structural stability of Mo_(x)N.The nitrogen-rich Mo_(x)N and decoration of few-layered MoSe_(2) can create rich heterointerfaces and extra active sites for rapid sodium-ion storage,thus promoting reaction kinetics and improving actual capacity.The MoSe_(2)@Mo_(x)N/C-I as an anode achieves a large reversible capacity of 522.8 mAh g^(-1)at 0.1 A g^(-1),and 254.3 mAh g^(-1)capacity is obtained after 6000 cycles at 5.0 A g^(-1),showing signally improved sodium-ion storage properties.The storage mechanisms and kinetic behaviors are described systematically via the advanced testing techniques and density functional theory(DFT)calculations.It is found that the nitrogen-rich Mo_(x)N as the substrate is the basis of long cycling stability,and the few-layered MoSe_(2) are the key to improving actual capacity.This work indicates that the decoration of few-layered selenides has a broad application prospect in high-performance metal-ion batteries.展开更多

背景:目前运动疗法是非药物治疗腰痛的有效方法,运动疗法可通过骨骼和肌肉之间的机械-化学偶联维持腰椎的稳定,但目前尚无关于运动疗法通过机械-化学偶联缓解慢性非特异性下背痛之间研究进展及最佳治疗方案的明确阐述。目的:综述运动疗...背景:目前运动疗法是非药物治疗腰痛的有效方法,运动疗法可通过骨骼和肌肉之间的机械-化学偶联维持腰椎的稳定,但目前尚无关于运动疗法通过机械-化学偶联缓解慢性非特异性下背痛之间研究进展及最佳治疗方案的明确阐述。目的:综述运动疗法时椎旁肌通过机械-化学偶联影响腰椎稳定性进而缓解慢性非特异性下背痛的相关研究进展,以及目前运动疗法治疗慢性非特异性下背痛的最佳方案。方法:在万方数据库、中国知网、维普、Web of Science和PubMed数据库进行文献检索,以“慢性非特异性下背痛,腰椎稳定,椎旁肌,运动疗法”为中文检索词,以“chronic nonspecific low back pain,lumbar stabilization,paravertebral muscle,exercise therapy”为英文检索词,检索各数据库建库至2024年1月发表的相关文献,最终纳入93篇文献进行归纳总结。结果与结论:运动疗法可以通过适当的机械刺激作用于椎旁肌和骨骼并使其产生相应的变化。运动疗法主要通过机械-化学偶联方式来提高椎旁肌的质量,进而维持腰椎稳定,从而更好地缓解慢性非特异性下背痛,是慢性非特异性下背痛的重要干预措施。但是,对于运动疗法通过腰椎稳定来治疗慢性非特异性下背痛的确切有效方案尚无明确报道。个体化运动方案的制定对于慢性非特异性下背痛的治疗和预后尤为重要。同一个体的肌肉质量与骨骼质量是密切相关的,影像学评估椎旁肌的质量和体积对于疾病的发现和干预具有重要意义。展开更多

文摘The purpose of this study was to empirically examine the influence of marketing mix towards customer decision-making in the interior decoration industry of Guangxi,China.The interior decoration industry in Guangxi is growing at rapid pace.Therefore,this study is specially helpful for the interior decoration industry in Guangxi,China,and the interior decoration industry in Guangxi can use marketing mix for their business gained.In order to carry out this study,the population was taken to be those customers of the interior decoration.A sample(N=425)customers were taken using simple random sampling from the interior decoration consumers of Guangxi,China.It was hypothesized that marketing mix had positive influence on customer decision-making.It was hypothesized that marketing mix predicts customer decision-making.The results were analyzed with help SPSS software.Descriptive statistical analysis,Pearson correlation test,and regression analysis were used to test hypothesis.The results showed significant positive relationship and marketing mix was a predictor of customer decision-making.This research is significant and useful for all the interior decoration enterprises in Guangxi.
文摘背景:目前运动疗法是非药物治疗腰痛的有效方法,运动疗法可通过骨骼和肌肉之间的机械-化学偶联维持腰椎的稳定,但目前尚无关于运动疗法通过机械-化学偶联缓解慢性非特异性下背痛之间研究进展及最佳治疗方案的明确阐述。目的:综述运动疗法时椎旁肌通过机械-化学偶联影响腰椎稳定性进而缓解慢性非特异性下背痛的相关研究进展,以及目前运动疗法治疗慢性非特异性下背痛的最佳方案。方法:在万方数据库、中国知网、维普、Web of Science和PubMed数据库进行文献检索,以“慢性非特异性下背痛,腰椎稳定,椎旁肌,运动疗法”为中文检索词,以“chronic nonspecific low back pain,lumbar stabilization,paravertebral muscle,exercise therapy”为英文检索词,检索各数据库建库至2024年1月发表的相关文献,最终纳入93篇文献进行归纳总结。结果与结论:运动疗法可以通过适当的机械刺激作用于椎旁肌和骨骼并使其产生相应的变化。运动疗法主要通过机械-化学偶联方式来提高椎旁肌的质量,进而维持腰椎稳定,从而更好地缓解慢性非特异性下背痛,是慢性非特异性下背痛的重要干预措施。但是,对于运动疗法通过腰椎稳定来治疗慢性非特异性下背痛的确切有效方案尚无明确报道。个体化运动方案的制定对于慢性非特异性下背痛的治疗和预后尤为重要。同一个体的肌肉质量与骨骼质量是密切相关的,影像学评估椎旁肌的质量和体积对于疾病的发现和干预具有重要意义。
