Design of a Multifrequency Signal Parameter Estimation Method for the Distribution Network Based on HIpST

The application of traditional synchronous measurement methods is limited by frequent fluctuations of electrical signals and complex frequency components in distribution networks.Therefore,it is critical to find solutions to the issues of multifrequency parameter estimation and synchronous measurement estimation accuracy in the complex environment of distribution networks.By utilizing the multifrequency sensing capabilities of discrete Fourier transform signals and Taylor series for dynamic signal processing,a multifrequency signal estimation approach based on HT-IpDFT-STWLS(HIpST)for distribution networks is provided.First,by introducing the Hilbert transform(HT),the influence of noise on the estimation algorithm is reduced.Second,signal frequency components are obtained on the basis of the calculated signal envelope spectrum,and the interpolated discrete Fourier transform(IpDFT)frequency coarse estimation results are used as the initial values of symmetric Taylor weighted least squares(STWLS)to achieve high-precision parameter estimation under the dynamic changes of the signal,and the method increases the number of discrete Fourier.Third,the accuracy of this proposed method is verified by simulation analysis.Data show that this proposed method can accurately achieve the parameter estimation of multifrequency signals in distribution networks.This approach provides a solution for the application of phasor measurement units in distribution networks. 展开更多

In this paper,we study the accuracy of delay-Doppler parameter estimation of targets in a passive radar using orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM)signal.A coarse-fine joint estimation method is proposed to achieve better estimation accuracy of target parameters without excessive computational burden.Firstly,the modulation symbol domain(MSD)method is used to roughly estimate the delay and Doppler of targets.Then,to obtain high-precision Doppler estimation,the atomic norm(AN)based on the multiple measurement vectors(MMV)model(MMV-AN)is used to manifest the signal sparsity in the continuous Doppler domain.At the same time,a reference signal compensation(RSC)method is presented to obtain highprecision delay estimation.Simulation results based on the OFDM signal show that the coarse-fine joint estimation method based on AN-RSC can obtain a more accurate estimation of target parameters compared with other algorithms.In addition,the proposed method also possesses computational advantages compared with the joint parameter estimation. 展开更多

Multi-azimuth walkaway vertical seismic profiling is an established technique for the estimation of in situ slowness surfaces and inferring anisotropy parameters.Normally,this technique requires the assumption of lateral homogeneity,which makes the horizontal slowness components at depths of downhole receivers equal to those measured at the surface.Any violations of this assumption,such as lateral heterogeneity or nonzero dip of intermediate interfaces,lead to distortions in reconstructed slowness surfaces and,consequently,to errors in estimated anisotropic parameters.In this work,we relax the assumption of lateral homogeneity and discuss how to correct vertical seismic profile data for weak lateral heterogeneity.We describe a procedure of downward continuation of recorded traveltimes that accounts for the presence of both vertical inhomogeneity and weak lateral heterogeneity,which produces correct slowness surfaces at depths of downhole receivers,noticing that sufficiently dense receiver coverage along a borehole is required to separate influences of vertical and lateral heterogeneity on measured traveltimes and obtain accurate estimates of the slowness surfaces.Once the slowness surfaces are found and a desired type of anisotropic model to be inverted is selected,the corresponding anisotropic parameters,providing the best fit to the estimated slownesses,can be obtained.We invert the slowness surfaces of P-waves for parameters of the simplest anisotropic model describing dipping fractures(transversely isotropic medium with a tilted symmetry axis).Five parameters of this model,namely,the P-wave velocity V0 in the direction of the symmetry axis,Thomsen's anisotropic coefficients e and d,the tilt n,and the azimuth b of the symmetry axis,can be estimated in a stable manner when maximum source offset is greater than half of receiver depth. 展开更多

In this paper, a filtering method is presented to estimate time-varying parameters of a missile dual control system with tail fins and reaction jets as control variables. In this method, the long-short-term memory(LSTM) neural network is nested into the extended Kalman filter(EKF) to modify the Kalman gain such that the filtering performance is improved in the presence of large model uncertainties. To avoid the unstable network output caused by the abrupt changes of system states,an adaptive correction factor is introduced to correct the network output online. In the process of training the network, a multi-gradient descent learning mode is proposed to better fit the internal state of the system, and a rolling training is used to implement an online prediction logic. Based on the Lyapunov second method, we discuss the stability of the system, the result shows that when the training error of neural network is sufficiently small, the system is asymptotically stable. With its application to the estimation of time-varying parameters of a missile dual control system, the LSTM-EKF shows better filtering performance than the EKF and adaptive EKF(AEKF) when there exist large uncertainties in the system model. 展开更多

The statistical linear mode... Compositional data, such as relative information, is a crucial aspect of machine learning and other related fields. It is typically recorded as closed data or sums to a constant, like 100%. The statistical linear model is the most used technique for identifying hidden relationships between underlying random variables of interest. However, data quality is a significant challenge in machine learning, especially when missing data is present. The linear regression model is a commonly used statistical modeling technique used in various applications to find relationships between variables of interest. When estimating linear regression parameters which are useful for things like future prediction and partial effects analysis of independent variables, maximum likelihood estimation (MLE) is the method of choice. However, many datasets contain missing observations, which can lead to costly and time-consuming data recovery. To address this issue, the expectation-maximization (EM) algorithm has been suggested as a solution for situations including missing data. The EM algorithm repeatedly finds the best estimates of parameters in statistical models that depend on variables or data that have not been observed. This is called maximum likelihood or maximum a posteriori (MAP). Using the present estimate as input, the expectation (E) step constructs a log-likelihood function. Finding the parameters that maximize the anticipated log-likelihood, as determined in the E step, is the job of the maximization (M) phase. This study looked at how well the EM algorithm worked on a made-up compositional dataset with missing observations. It used both the robust least square version and ordinary least square regression techniques. The efficacy of the EM algorithm was compared with two alternative imputation techniques, k-Nearest Neighbor (k-NN) and mean imputation (), in terms of Aitchison distances and covariance. 展开更多

The convergence analysis demonstrates that under persistent excitation conditions, the adaptive law converges exponentially to zero, indicating that the estimated parameters converge exponentially to their true values. Numerical simulations confirm the effectiveness. Furthermore, it is shown that within a certain range of the reaction coefficient, the auxiliary system acts as a state observer, providing an accurate estimate of the system state at an exponential rate. . 展开更多

Estimation of construction parameters is crucial for optimizing tunnel construction schedule.Due to the influence of routine activities and occasional risk events,these parameters are usually correlated and imbalanced.To solve this issue,an improved bidirectional generative adversarial network(BiGAN)model with a joint discriminator structure and zero-centered gradient penalty(0-GP)is proposed.In this model,in order to improve the capability of original BiGAN in learning imbalanced parameters,the joint discriminator separately discriminates the routine activities and risk event durations to balance their influence weights.Then,the self-attention mechanism is embedded so that the discriminator can pay more attention to the imbalanced parameters.Finally,the 0-GP is adapted for the loss of the discrimi-nator to improve its convergence and stability.A case study of a tunnel in China shows that the improved BiGAN can obtain parameter estimates consistent with the classical Gauss mixture model,without the need of tedious and complex correlation analysis.The proposed joint discriminator can increase the ability of BiGAN in estimating imbalanced construction parameters,and the 0-GP can ensure the stability and convergence of the model. 展开更多

In order to decrease the asymptotic error, a corrector of maximum likelihood (CML) estimation with its recursive algorithm is given. It has been proved that the corrector has smaller asymptotic error than the least square methods. A simulation example shows that the corrector of maximum likelihood estimation is of higher approximating precision to the true parameters than the least square methods. 展开更多

Study on solving nonlinear least squares adjustment by parameters is one of the most important and new subjects in modern surveying and mapping field . Many researchers have done a lot of work and gained some solving methods. These methods mainly include iterative algorithms and direct algorithms mainly. The former searches some methods of rapid convergence based on which surveying adjustment is a kind of problem of nonlinear programming. Among them the iterative algorithms of the most in common use are the Gauss-Newton method, damped least quares, quasi-Newton method and some mutations etc. Although these methods improved the quantity of the observation results to a certain degree, and increased the accuracy of the adjustment results, what we want is whether the initial values of unknown parameters are close to their real values. Of course, the model of the latter has better degree in linearity, that is to say, they nearly have the meaning of deeper theories researches. This paper puts forward a kind of method of solving the problems of nonlinear least squares adjustment by parameters based on neural network theory, and studies its stability and convergency. The results of calculating of living example indicate the method acts well for solving parameters problems by nonlinear least squares adjustment without giving exact approximation of parameters. 展开更多

Methods Artificial stator bars is designed to simulat e the generator bars. The partial didcharge( PD) and dielectric loss experiments are performed in order to obtain the nondestructive parameters, and the residua l breakdown voltage acquired by AC damage experiment. In order to eliminate the dimension effect on measurement data, raw data is preprocessed by centered-compr ess. Based on the idea of extracting principal components, a partial least squar e (PLS) method is applied to screen and synthesize correlation information betwe en the nondestructive parameters and residual breakdown voltage easily. Moreover , various data message about condition parameters are also discussed. Re sults Graphical analysis function of PLS is easily to understand vario us data message of the stator bars condition parameters. The analysis Results ar e consistent with result of aging testing. After the method of solving the automatic search of step length was put forward, the optimization estimation computing formulas were also obtained by adapting conjugate gradient method. Then the steps of dynamic Bayesian estimation were given in detail. Through analysis of a Classic example, the criterion of judging the precision of the known information is gained as well as some other important conclusions about dynamic Bayesian stochastic estimation of displacement parameters of continuous curve box. 展开更多
