The results showed that the peak strength strain was independent of the hardening ductility parameter DH,but affected by AH,BH,and CH. The softening ductility was mainly related to the softening ductility parameter AS,but not affected by the damage ductility exponent BS. In case that the model with default parameters failed to match the AS-controlled damage softening phase,an optimized model with an AS correction was developed. The corrected model with the AS value of 2 matched well with the code model, and exhibited good feasibility in predicting the stress-strain curve of different grades of concrete. Moreover, the practicability of the corrected model was further validated by the conventional triaxial test. The simulated curve exhibited favorable consistence with the trial curve. Therefore, the model with parameter correction could provide a prospective reference for predicting the mechanical properties of concrete.展开更多

This paper proposes a new force correction method based on online discrete tangent stiffness estimation(online DTSE) to provide accurate online estimation of the instantaneous stiffness of the physical substructure. Following the discrete curve parameter recognition theory, the online DTSE method estimates the instantaneous stiffness mainly through adaptively building a fuzzy segment with the latest measurements, constructing several strict bounding lines of the segment and calculating the slope of the strict bounding lines, which significantly improves the calculation efficiency and accuracy for the instantaneous stiffness estimation. The results of both computational simulation and real-time hybrid simulation show that:(1) the online DTSE method has high calculation efficiency, of which the relatively short computation time will not interrupt RTHS; and(2) the online DTSE method provides better estimation for the instantaneous stiffness, compared with other existing estimation methods. Due to the quick and accurate estimation of instantaneous stiffness, the online DTSE method therefore provides a promising technique to correct restoring forces in RTHS.展开更多

The PECs of the electronic states involved are modified by the Davidson correction and extrapolated to the complete basis set (CBS) limit. With these PECs, the spectroscopic parameters of the three electronic states are determined and compared in detail with the experimental data. The comparison shows that excellent agreement exists between the present results and the available experimental data. The complete vibrational states are computed for the W3Au and WlAu electronic states when the rotational quantum number J equals zero and the vibrational level G(v), the inertial rotation constant By, and the centrifugal distortion constant Dv of the first 30 vibrational states are reported, which accord well with the experimental data. The present results show that the two-point extrapolation scheme can obviously improve the quality of spectroscopic parameters and molecular constants.展开更多

The error-correction variable, which represents the short-run discrepancy from the equilibrium state in a cointegrated system, plays an important role in the ECM. It is natural to ask how the error-correction mechanism works, or equivalently, how the short-run discrepancy affects the development of the cointegrated system? This paper examines the effect or local influence on the error-correction variable in an error-correction model. Following the argument of the second-order approach to local influence suggested by reference [5], we develop a diagnostic statistic to examine the local influence on the estimation of the parameter associated with the error-correction variable in an ECM. An empirical example is presented to illustrate the application of the proposed diagnostic. We find that the short-run discre pancy may have strong influence on the estimation of the parameter associated with the error-correction model. It is the error-correction variable that the short-run discrepancies can be incorporated through the error-correction mechanism.展开更多

The calcula- tions were carried out with the full valence complete active space self-consistent field method followed by the highly accurate valence internally contracted multireference configuration in- teraction (MRCI) approach in combination with correlation-consistent basis sets. Effects of the core-valence correlation and relativistic corrections on the PECs are taken into account. The core-valence correlation correction is carried out with the cc-pCVDZ basis set. The way to consider the relativistic correction is to use the second-order Douglas-Kroll Hamiltonian approximation, and the correction is performed at the level of cc-pV5Z basis set. To obtain more reliable results, the PECs determined by the MRCI calculations are also corrected for size-extensivity errors by means of the Davidson modification (MRCI+Q). These PECs are extrapolated to the complete basis set limit by the two-point energy extrapolation scheme. With these PECs, the spectroscopic parameters are determined.展开更多
