Research Characteristics of Thermal Comfort of Urban Block Landscape Based on Knowledge Graph Analysis

The landscape environment of urban blocks plays a significant role in improving the comfort of urban thermal environment and promoting green and high-quality development.The 342 papers related to the research on the impact of urban block landscape environment on thermal comfort in China,collected by CNKI(China National Knowledge Infrastructure)from 2002 to 2022,are used as the research object.Through bibliometric statistical analysis,LLR algorithm,and cluster analysis,the current research status of the impact of urban block landscape environment on thermal comfort in China is analyzed and processed,and its external characteristics are identified.Using the information visualization software CiteSpace,the research topics in the field of the impact of urban block landscape environment on thermal comfort are presented in the form of knowledge graphs.Through co-occurrence analysis of keywords and trend of word frequency changes,the development trends of research hotspots and cutting-edge fields of the impact of urban block landscape environment on thermal comfort are determined,hoping to provide reference for future research in this field.

Changes of landscape pattern and its influence on environment in Dongling District，Shenyang City，China

Dongling District of Shenyang City is an ecotone between city and countryside. Human disturbance causes serious changes of the landscape pattern studed by using indices of landscape pattern: proportion in land cover types,average area and number of patches,fractal dimension of patches,indices of diversity, dominance and contagion and index of human disturbance.There are many changes of the landscape pattern of Dongling District for the last 30 years.The landscape pattern is breaking, the diversity is increasing and the dominance is decreasing.There are different fractal dimension and contagion in distinct geomorphological unit.The changes of landscape pattern bring some beneficial results but causes deterioration of ecological environment.

Impact of landscape on wind environment in residential area

Vegetation has positive effects on improving wind environment in residential areas which is important to the residents' pedestrian comfort. In order to reflect the impact of landscape on wind environment,a wind experiment was carried out in a typical residential area in Tsinghua University. Meanwhile,numerical simulation with reasonable plant models under the experimental boundary condition was held. By comparison between the experiment data and results of the simulation,wind direction of points in narrow passage and velocity of points in the first row facing the coming wind are almost accurate in simulation,but other points share big error percentage. The reason lies in the disturbing of wind model and settings of plant model. Moreover,by classifying measurement points according to relations between plants location and directions of coming wind,quantitative effects of vegetation are shown through simulations with plants and without plants. Plants directly facing the coming wind have most obvious function on decreasing the wind velocity,thus providing feasible scheme for vegetation design.

Landscape eco-environmental research on littoral zone in China

Littoral zone is a special land/ landscape type. As an important kind of land resource in support, the use of littoral zone is vital to eastern coastal areas in China. And the research on littoral zone relates to the key theory of landscape ecology. Based on the theory of landscape ecology, the littoral zone was divided into four types: mud flat, sand beach, bench, and biological flat. The distribution of each type in China is pointed out. As a typical open system, littoral zone has six landscape ecological characteristics: (1) high sensitivity to disturbance; (2) distinct edge effect; (3) spatial aggregation of natural resources; (4) frequently spatial oscillation; (5) obviously spatial heterogeneity; and (6) noticeably spatial differentiation. Some proposals are also put forward on the land use and development of littoral zone for environmental protection and environmental management.

A novel algorithm for SLAM in dynamic environments using landscape theory of aggregation

To tackle the problem of simultaneous localization and mapping(SLAM) in dynamic environments, a novel algorithm using landscape theory of aggregation is presented. By exploiting the coherent explanation how actors form alignments in a game provided by the landscape theory of aggregation, the algorithm is able to explicitly deal with the ever-changing relationship between the static objects and the moving objects without any prior models of the moving objects. The effectiveness of the method has been validated by experiments in two representative dynamic environments: the campus road and the urban road.

The Environmental Landscape Evolution of the Loess under the Background of Global Climate Change

[Objective] The aim was to study the environment evolution of Shanbei Loess landscape under the background of global climate changes.[Method] The annual and monthly temperature and precipitation in Yulin area in north Shaanxi from 1952 to 2009 were selected,and by dint of linear regression and M-K mutation,the Loess land form evolution under the global climate change was studied.[Result] The temperature in Yulin area showed increasing tendency from 1952 to 2009 at a speed of 0.287℃/10 a.The year 1994 was a year of mutation of temperature;precipitation decreased at speed of 8.262 mm/10 a and the precipitation fluctuated largely in 1960s,and stably in 1970s,1980s and 1990s.It showed drying tendency.The climate in north Shanxi was becoming warmer.The extreme dry and flood incident,especially the rising drought occurrence frequency had more serious endangerment to the fragile ecological environment.The ' warmer drought' of climate worsened the environment in north Shaanxi,with temperature rising and worsening drought;reduction of precipitation made the wind and sand more active;the frequency of sandstorm increased;desertification of land furthered;the water and soil losses in Loess was serious and might led to degradation of land in north Shaanxi.[Conclusion] The study provided theoretical basis for the ecological and environmental construction in the region.

Landscape architecture and environment improvement of coal enterprises

The coal enterprise＇s spoiled environment situation was analyzed in this paper. The coal enterprises＇environment conditions must be improved under the trend of sustainable development and economic globalization. And it is important for using landscape architecture techniques to improve coal enterprises＇ environmental conditions. Four principles should be followed to improve the coal enterprises＇ environment by landscape architect were pointed out.

The Research on Land-Use Change and Ecological Environment Effect of Urban Landscape in China

The rapid expansion of urban construction land has become the major characteristic of urban land-use change in China today. Meanwhile, the rapid urbanization process has led to the great changes of urban landscape in China, and it also has had certain impacts on environmental factors such as climate, soil, hydrology, biodiversity, etc., then it has made the overall ecological environment deteriorated. This study is based on the summary and analysis of research on land-use change and ecological environment effect of urban landscape in recent 20 years in China, and it aims at providing scientific bases and theoretical supports for the planning and construction of urban landscape, the sustainable land-use of city and the protection of ecological environment in China.

Landscape Planning of Rural Environment

Based on personal experience in the planning of new countryside, characteristics of rural environment landscape planning were summarized. Landscape planning of rural environment should apply such concepts as respecting the locals, and inheriting cultural context on the basis of f ield investigation, and successful development mode of rural environment should be learnt. This study is to provide references for landscape planning of rural environment, and try to achieve the integration of urban and rural landscapes.

Heart of Landscape and Contribution of Building Environment: Discussions about Landscape Construction of Outdoor Environment Water Circulation System

Recently, the increasing concern about the environmental quality of human settlements makes people realize that the attractive environment given by natural ecology also deficiently needs the feedback and protection of nature in some forms so that the natural ecology can be endlessly cycled on its own. Taking the project of German Enterprise Center in Qingdao Sino-German Ecopark as an example, this paper discussed construction of outdoor environment water circulation system using the landscape building method.

Evidence-based Landscape Design of University Campus:Relationship Between Characteristics of Outdoor Environments and Actual Uses of Students

Several studies have shown a positive relationship between high quality outdoor environments and users’health.Education of agricultural professionals also demands high quality outdoor environments in order to promote students’wellbeing,which in turn supports scientific researches.This study analyzed relationship between students’actual uses and campus outdoor environments,identified what environmental characteristics that students prefered,how they used and why they participated in the outdoor activities.The results could be used as guidance of campus design and management.Investigation of three universities in Harbin provided 686 valid questionnaires.The results suggested that health awareness effectively promoted students’use frequencies of outdoor environments.Environment with"natural"and"cultural"characteristics,especially undulating landform,vibrant plants and landmarks in a serpentins design style attracted more uses.Female students showed more preferences on social interaction activities than males.Students who had good economic consumption levels and participated in outdoor activities frequntly in childhood prefered to join all the kinds of activities after university enrollment.

The Gestalt Function of Landscape Building in Terrain Environment

The outstanding value of landscape building is mainly reflected in the isomorphic relationship with the environment.If properly placed,it can play a key role in the natural landscape,which puts forward higher requirements for the site selection,modeling,volume and material selection of buildings.As a prerequisite,site selection is more demanding.Based on the previous studies of geomancy,the author summed up four types of site selection:gathering potential,blocking pass,bundle vein and acupoint from the isomorphic relationship between the landscape building and terrain in Wuling Area,analyzed its gestalt function and ecological ethics from the perspective of Gestalt psychology and ecological perception theory,explored the fit between the traditional Fengshui regulations and the Gestalt theory,and further revealed the influence of the accumulated genetic function of local living experience and survival wisdom on people’s deep psychological structure.

Research on Landscape System of Traditional Living Environment in Jingzhou

With the aid of the research method of land landscape,on the basis of briefly analyzing the construction process of regional traditional living environment in Jingzhou,a hierarchical analysis of the regional landscape system was carried out from the aspects of natural landscape,water conservancy construction,agricultural production and urban construction,and the overall pattern of traditional living environment landscape system in Jingzhou was summarized to provide new ideas for the exploration of landscape system.In view of the many problems in the current urban development of Jingzhou,the enlightenment of traditional human settlement experience and wisdom in Jingzhou to the current urban construction of Jingzhou was summarized to provide an example reference for building a living environment that integrates mountains,water and a city.

Impact of Geographical Environment on British Landscape Garden Design

The study attempts to analyze the regional cultural characteristics of Britain under the unique geographical environment by taking the development process and characteristics of British landscape garden as the research object.British culture is an important carrier of British landscape garden culture,and the impact of the unique culture of“the empire on which the sun never sets”on formation and development,formal characteristics,temperament and connotation of landscape garden is discussed.

Landscape Environment Design on the Front Area of Campus Square:A Case Study of Northwest A & F University

How to design a graceful campus with its culture and landscape respect is always a hot research topic of contemporary campus environment construction because the campus is very essential to promote the harmonious development of people’s physical and mental health. For the design of campus, the most important issue is to make the green landscape become the carrier of cultural heritage. The center square of campus is the core of space in the campus area, which is the key carrier to reflect the campus culture and the essence of environment.“Harvest Square” is the front part of the campus in Northwest A&F University, which takes green as theme to show the cultural taste and campus features. The article takes this square as an example to elaborate its design ideas, in order to explain the landscape design of front greening square in campus.

Application of Earth Art in Landscape Reconstruction of Urban Industrial Wasteland

The ecological environment of industrial wasteland has been severely damaged,and problems such as environmental pollution,sharp decline in biodiversity,and ecological damage frequently occur.Therefore,reasonable renovation of industrial wasteland has become an urgent issue to be resolved.Earth art originates from nature and integrates with industrial wasteland,which plays a guiding role in promoting the upgrading and transformation of industrial wasteland landscapes,and is of great significance for the healthy development of urban environment,improving urban human settlements,and other issues.The combination of land art and urban industrial wasteland landscape transformation can guide the healthy development of urban environment.

Design of Urban Parent-Child Interaction Landscape Spaces:A Case Study of Wuhan Overseas Chinese Town(OCT) Park

From the perspective of the design of parent-child interaction landscapes,this paper took Wuhan Overseas Chinese Town (OCT) Park for example,explored children’s physiology,psychology and emotions as well as external factors,translated them into building landscape spaces,children’s emotion spaces,children’s exploration spaces,children’s social spaces,so as to facilitate parent-child interactions in these spaces,thereby to enhance the family-care education and parent-child emotional exchanges,and provide references for the construction of parent-child interaction spaces.

Research on Indoor Landscaping and Eco-environment Construction in Modern Library

After the analysis of ecological significance and function of indoor plants decorations in the library,it considers that plants can help to reduce air pollution and purify reading environment and are beneficial to reader's physical and psychological health.It emphasizes that plants decorations in the library should follow ecological,aesthetic,practical and economic principle.Then,the selection and arrangement of plant species have been analyzed for different positions in the library.
