Part-Time Nurse Faculty Intent to Remain Employed in Academia: A Cross-Sectional Study

The purpose of this study was to test and refine a model of part-time nurse faculty intent to remain employed in the academic organization. Cross-sectional survey methods were used. A total of 282 part-time nurse faculty working in colleges or universities in Ontario, Canada were invited to participate. Survey instruments and items measured demographic, workplace, nurse responses to the workplace, and external variables. Correlation, multiple regression, and mediation analyses were conducted using data from 119 participants (47.6% response rate). Of the 19 variables hypothesized to affect intent to remain employed in the academic organization, seven influenced intent to remain. The resulting model indicated that the older the part-time nurse faculty member, the lower the level of intent to remain and the more years worked in the organization, the higher the level of intent to remain. The more opportunities perceived to exist outside of the employing organization, the higher the level of intent to remain. Additionally, the more satisfied part-time nurse faculty were with their job overall, the higher their level of intent to remain. In the workplace, the more support from the leader, the more formal or informal recognition received, and the more fair work procedures were perceived to be, the higher levels of part-time nurse faculty intent to remain employed in the academic organization, mediated by job satisfaction. Although age, organizational tenure, and external career opportunities are non-modifiable variables, deans and directors can encourage part-time nurse faculty to remain employed in their academic job by focusing on enhancing overall job satisfaction. Effective strategies may include formal or informal acknowledgement of good performance, consistent verbal and behavioural support, and implementation of procedural practices, such as performance evaluations and pay raises in a fair manner.

The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian is a 2007 National Book Award novel for young adults by Sherman Alexie. Inspired by his own experiences of growing up, award-winning author Sherman Alexie chronicles the contemporary adolescence of one unlucky boy trying to rise above the life everyone expects him to live. As a bildungsroman, the novel honestly depicts the real life in reservation as well as protagonist Arnold＇s personal development in misfortune. The novel addresses various themes. Through close reading of the novel and with the help of some theories from postcolonial criticism, the present paper tries to analyze the bleak reality of reservation life and protagonist Arnold＇s struggle for social success, thus interpreting the themes of othering, alienation, unhomeliness, double consciousness, and hope presented in the novel

Part-Time Learners’Perceptions of Success During Emergency Remote Teaching and Implications for Future

The Faculty of Lifelong Learning at South East Technological University’s Carlow campus is one of the largest providers of part-time,adult learning in the Irish HE sector.Therefore,the perspectives of our part-time learners offer us valuable insights into adult learner experiences in the Irish HE sector.The outbreak of Covid 19 saw us pivot our provision to an emergency remote teaching(ERT)model in the first wave of the epidemic.The faculty undertook an extensive study of its learners in 2021 to examine the impacts of ERT on learners,and this article takes a qualitative approach to the findings of this study,looking specifically at learners’comments about success,and the barriers to success,which ERT posed.Our study provided an opportunity to learn about our learners’conceptions of student identity,and how they interpret success as part-time learners.

Difficulties and Breakthrough Strategies in the Team Construction of Part-time Teachers in Application-oriented Universities

Strengthening the team construction of part-time teachers is required by the transformation and development of the universities,the realization of their goals of being developed into an application-oriented universities and their talent cultivation and long-term development.The existing problem regarding the part-time teachers in current application-oriented universities are the low proportion of part-time teachers,a shortage of high level parttime teachers,the absence of relevant laws and regulations,a lack of systematic policies or financial support for part-time teachers as well as the unsound management mechanism with insufficient scientific and reasonable employment scheme for part-time teachers.To strengthen the team construction of the part-time teachers in application-oriented universities,firstly we should improve the existing laws,regulations and policies and broaden the financial support channels.Secondly,we should develop the recruitment channels for part-time teachers and pay attention to introducing high-tech and highly-skilled talents.Thirdly,we should improve the management over part-time teachers and promote their value.Fourthly,it should adopt a people-oriented management concept and establish an effective evaluation and incentive mechanism for part-time teachers.

Delivery Invoice Information Classification System for Joint Courier Logistics Infrastructure

With the growth of the online market,demand for logistics and courier cargo is increasing rapidly.Accordingly,in the case of urban areas,road congestion and environmental problems due to cargo vehicles are mainly occurring.The joint courier logistics system,a plan to solve this problem,aims to establish an efficient logistics transportation system by utilizing one joint logistics delivery terminal by several logistics and delivery companies.However,several courier companies use different types of courier invoices.Such a system has a problem of information data transmission interruption.Therefore,the data processing process was systematically analyzed,a practically feasible methodology was devised,and delivery invoice information processing standards were established for this.In addition,the importance of this paper can be emphasized in terms of data processing in the logistics sector,which is expected to grow rapidly in the future.The results of this study can be used as basic data for the implementation of the logistics joint delivery terminal system in the future.And it can be used as a basis for securing the operational reliability of the joint courier logistics system.

快递员秋冬季可拆卸职业装创新设计

为满足秋冬季快递员职业装舒适保暖、安全便捷、功能性强的需求,主要以结构与工艺改良对秋冬季可拆卸快递员职业装进行设计。通过对秋冬季快递员职业装及可拆卸服装的综合分析,进行二者交叉设计的可行性尝试,归纳可拆卸服装的优缺点,在款式、色彩、面料、功能等方面进行优化处理,结合服装流行趋势进行系列服装创新设计,并完成快递员服装的样衣制作。旨在改善当今快递员秋冬季职业装设计的不足,增加快递员职业装的附加值,保障快递员的效率与安全,为快递员职业装设计提供新思路,从服装设计层面提高行业竞争力。

论明清时期的贵州驿站管理及其变迁

明清时期,贵州的驿道交通在历代的基础上又有较大的发展。驿站的日常运行、设施维护、人员配置、经费支出,是驿道交通管理的重要环节。明朝时期,贵州的驿站分为地方“三司”管理的驿站和宣慰司等直接或参与管理的驿站;清朝时期,随着“改土归流”的实施,贵州各地的驿站管理又出现了较大变化,即清廷将各地的驿站划归所在地的府、州、县管理。在整个明清时期,贵州的驿站在经费支出、设施维护、物资供给以及人员配备方面呈现了一个不断调整变化的过程。笔者通过查阅相关史料,对这一变化过程进行分析研究。

快递员职业伤害保障机制现状及对策研究

为了解新业态劳动者职业伤害保障现状,促进快递员职业伤害保障水平有效提升,首先,对国内外新业态劳动者职业伤害保障现状进行梳理,对比不同国家和地区在快递员等新业态劳动者职业伤害保障方面的政策和制度;然后,对快递员职业伤害类型及相关保障存在的问题进行分析,得到快递员职业伤害保障机制存在的核心问题,包括劳动关系认定困难、工伤认定复杂、主体责任缺失等;最后,针对上述问题从政府职能、企业责任和工会作用3个方面提出相应的对策与建议。该研究可对我国快递员职业伤害保障机制的进一步完善提供参考,同时也可为其他行业新业态劳动者相关保障水平的提升提供借鉴。

河南省居民快递垃圾处置支付意愿影响因素研究

文章探究居民快递垃圾处置支付意愿,有助于解决快递垃圾污染环境问题。基于河南省413份居民调研数据,使用Oprobit模型实证分析影响居民快递垃圾处置支付意愿的关键因素。结果表明,家庭可支配收入是影响居民付费意愿的关键因素,高收入群体的付费意愿更强;适当采用惩罚机制能够引导和约束居民的行为,提升快递垃圾处置付费意愿;文化程度较高的居民对网络消费成本较为敏感,付费意愿较低。建议通过增加居民收入、调动居民参与热情,制定适度惩罚机制等手段来提高居民快递垃圾处置支付意愿。

剑门蜀道驿站文化开发现状与对策研究

剑门蜀道驿站始于西汉、东汉,兴于隋、唐,衍于宋、元、明,废于清,作为连接南北方政治、经济、文化的重要衔接点,见证了古蜀道的历史兴衰、时代变迁,具有极其重要的文化、艺术、科学等价值。然而,目前剑门蜀道驿站文化开发存在遗址遗迹损毁严重、整体保护机制缺乏、内涵挖掘流于表面、宣传推广单一过时、文创产品低端同质等问题。针对这些问题,需从全面修缮本体、注重整体保护、厚植文化底蕴、突出宣传营销、做好创意设计方面着力,以更好推动剑门蜀道驿站开发,促进剑门蜀道驿站文化的传承发展,最终达到擦亮剑门蜀道文化金名片的目的。

基于sEMG的快递职业上装与肌肉疲劳度关系的研究

为了研究快递员职业上装与肌肉疲劳度之间的关系,以顺丰速运有限公司的夏、秋两套职业装为例,招募了7名男性受试者来模拟快递员的行为特征,测量了受试者工作状态下指伸肌、肱二头肌长头、斜方肌3个肌群的表面肌电信号,运用统计学分析方法分析了工作状态中的肌肉疲劳特征。在模拟快递员工作的实验中,结合受试者的主观分析及表面肌电信号数据可知,肱二头肌长头相比其他测试部位肌肉疲劳感最为强烈,穿着样衣2^(#)时的疲劳感比穿着样衣1^(#)时显著增加(p<0.05)。研究结果可为快递员职业上装的版型设计提供参考。

城际铁路快件转运产品设计研究

城际铁路是国家铁路网的重要组成部分,利用城际铁路富余运能开展快件转运业务成为提高物流服务质量、促进区域间经济协调发展的有益探索。文章从广东省快递业发展趋势、城际铁路开展快件转运业务资源禀赋等方面,分析利用城际铁路开展快件转运业务的可行性。从时效性出发,基于质量屋(HOQ)和KANO模型设计出“随时转”“当日转”“次晨转”3种城际铁路快件转运产品。为验证城际铁路快件转运产品的适应性,选取广清城际铁路及广州东环城际铁路作为试点线路进行试验。结果表明,利用城际铁路富余运能,开展高附加值快件转运业务切实可行,有助于广东省物流业的高质量发展。

中国东部大陆与东海海域地质构造的相关性分析

分析了中国大陆东部地区和东海海域地球物理场、大地构造、地球动力学特征.根据分析得出:东海海域的重磁场特征与中国大陆重磁场特征密切相关,分布趋势与走向均与大陆边缘重磁场相同,是大陆地球物理场向海域的延伸.东海陆架盆地地区具有大陆地球物理场特征,东海东部边缘、海槽具有大陆边缘地球物理场特征.根据研究区的重磁资料计算了该区莫霍、居里界面深度与分布.地壳结构特征表明:莫霍界面在中国东部的主要走向为NE—NNE向,与东海莫霍界面的走向基本一致,说明是大陆地壳向海域的延伸.在冲绳海槽以东海域,地壳厚度由十几公里迅速减薄到几公里,表明地壳由过渡壳向洋壳的转变,因此冲绳海槽应该是大陆地壳的自然终结.中国大陆东部居里界面的差异,反映了地壳结构的不同,陆区及陆架区的磁场特征主要反映了上地壳的磁性结构,相应的也形成了不同的磁场特征与居里界面特征.地球动力学特征表明:东海海域地球动力学特征与中国东部大陆地球动力学特征关系密切,这一地区是欧亚板块与菲律宾海板块的结合地带,构造活动十分强烈,是研究中国大陆及其邻域构造运动,进行地球动力学特征分析的极为有利、重要的地区.

Impacts of Part-time Farming on Agricultural Land Use in Ecologically-vulnerable Areas in North China

Part-time farming has been increasing steadily in China. It is currently the largest segment among all the farm sectors in the country. Based on rural household survey data in Taipusi County as a case site ofecologically-vulnerable areas in North China, we firstly classify farm households into four types according to the proportion of non-farm income in total income, and then compare their agricultural land use patterns to empirically examine the impacts of part-time farming on agricultural land use in this area. The results suggest that non-farming households rent out all their land and give up farming, and this satisfies the expectation of other households to expand land area. The crop planting structure was not significantly different among the households, which reflected the farmers＇ will to pursuit labor productivity. Part-time farming households invest more capital and materials than full-time faming households because the income derived from non-farm employment relaxes the financial constraint of households. However, the amount of labor input of part-time farming households tends to be less, and farming practices are dominated by the elderly, female and laborers withrelative low educations.Yields of crops and the benefit of agricultural land use incline to reduce, which suggest that the potential of land use productivity is more elastic to labor inputs than capital inputs in the study area.

平台型灵活就业的劳动关系研究——以外卖骑手为例

随着互联网信息技术的迅猛发展,平台型灵活就业作为重要的新就业形态之一,一方面大大促进了劳动就业,另一方面也存在较多亟待研究和解决的问题。以外卖骑手为例,平台型灵活就业由于劳动关系模糊、参与主体权责不清、无集体协商机制等特点,导致外卖骑手地位太过弱势、名义工资高而实际工资低、对劳动者隐性控制严格、平台企业的机会主义行为明显等问题。为构建和谐劳动关系,推动平台型灵活就业健康持续发展,政府应完善相关政策法规和管理制度,加强平台企业监管和劳动者权益保护;应探索建立平台型就业者的工会组织,为劳动者维权提供组织基础;平台企业应转变"用工"理念,改善就业者的安全和保障性待遇;劳动者自身应提升认识水平,增强维权意识。

基于CZIPA法的快递企业服务质量评价研究

服务质量的优化改进是提高顾客满意度和提升快递企业核心竞争力的关键。文章以SERVQUAL模型为基础,借助内容分析法和专家访谈法,构建了由可靠性、保证性、便利性、有形性、安全性和补救性构成的快递服务质量6维模型和评价体系,并将融合了差距分析和竞争性容忍区间的CZIPA法引入到快递服务质量评价中,利用问卷调研数据,以竞争对手的顾客感知质量和服务重要性为参照,对申通快递进行了测评。研究发现,申通快递服务的安全性、便利性、保证性和补救性维度依次处于优先改进的前4位,可靠性和有形性维度无须优先改进;在25个属性指标中,有10个指标无须优先改进,而"服务人员不滥用顾客个人信息"等15个指标需要根据企业资源能力和发展战略依次优先改进。
