In this article, the effect of the passive structure and the toroidal rotation on the RWM stability in the experimental advanced superconducting tokamak (EAST) are simulated with CHEASE and MARS codes. A model using a one-dimensional (1D) surface to present the effect of the passive plate is proved to be credible. The no wall fiN limit is about 3li, and the ideal wall βN limit is about 4.5li on EAST. It is found that the rotation near the q = 2 surface and the plasma edge affects the RWM more.展开更多

Although many attempts have been made, the study of this structure is still not systematic enough especially in terms of its essential natures. The present study is designed to give a full explanation of natures of English passive construction from the perspective of theta theory, which can provide English learners with a deeper understanding of passive structure.展开更多

The results show that surface passivation influences the characteristics of electronic band structures significantly: the band gap widths and types (direct or indirect) of the Si1-xGe, NWs with different terminators show complex and robust variations, and the effective masses of the electrons in the NWs can be modulated dramatically by the terminators. The study of optical absorption shows that the main peaks of the parallel polarization component of Si1-x Gex NWs passivated with the functional groups exhibit prominent changes both in height and position, and are red-shifted with respect to those of corresponding pure Si NWs, indicating the importance of both the terminators and Ge concentrations. Our results demonstrate that the electronic and optical properties of Si1-xGex NWs can be tuned by utilizing selected functional groups as well as particular Ge concentrations for customizing purposes.展开更多

Therefore, the passive safety of structures is demanded. Security associations have analysed that most assaults came along with explosion and impact scenarios, which amount in 80% of assaults. Consequently, these are the extraordinary loads the structures have to be planned and designed for. To carry out such an engineering job, the engineer has to be educated in multiple disciplines as physics, material science , continuum mechanics, numerical mechanics, testing, structural engineering and related specific fields as wave propagation etc. In this paper we will concentrate on the subjects of numerical simulation and testing.展开更多
