The perfect hybrid vector vortex beam(PHVVB)with helical phase wavefront structure has aroused significant concern in recent years,as its beam waist does not expand with the topological charge(TC).In this work,we inve...The perfect hybrid vector vortex beam(PHVVB)with helical phase wavefront structure has aroused significant concern in recent years,as its beam waist does not expand with the topological charge(TC).In this work,we investigate the spatial quantum coherent modulation effect with PHVVB based on the atomic medium,and we observe the absorption characteristic of the PHVVB with different TCs under variant magnetic fields.We find that the transmission spectrum linewidth of PHVVB can be effectively maintained regardless of the TC.Still,the width of transmission peaks increases slightly as the beam size expands in hot atomic vapor.This distinctive quantum coherence phenomenon,demonstrated by the interaction of an atomic medium with a hybrid vector-structured beam,might be anticipated to open up new opportunities for quantum coherence modulation and accurate magnetic field measurement.展开更多

It is a well-established proposition in portfolio theory that whe...Modern financial theory, commonly known as portfolio theory, provides an analytical framework for the investment decision to be made under uncertainty. It is a well-established proposition in portfolio theory that whenever there is an imperfect correlation between returns risk is reduced by maintaining only a portion of wealth in any asset, or by selecting a portfolio according to expected returns and correlations between returns. The major improvement of the portfolio approaches over prior received theory is the incorporation of 1) the riskiness of an asset and 2) the addition from investing in any asset. The theme of this paper is to discuss how to propose a new mathematical model like that provided by Markowitz, which helps in choosing a nearly perfect portfolio and an efficient input/output. Besides applying this model to reality, the researcher uses game theory, stochastic and linear programming to provide the model proposed and then uses this model to select a perfect portfolio in the Cairo Stock Exchange. The results are fruitful and the researcher considers this model a new contribution to previous models.展开更多

This is because both the two Scientific Approaches previously mentioned have not the property of “the perfect induction”. Consequently, although they can even reach an experimental confirmation of the theoretical results, and thus a “valid description” of the various phenomena of the surrounding world, such a description has not an “absolute value”. In fact, it always and only has an “operative validity”, that is, it exclusively and solely refers to an “experimental point of view”. This means that such an “operative validity” cannot represent the basis for a logical process characterized by a “perfect induction”. In addition, the Traditional Scientific Approach is also characterized by “Insoluble” Problems, “Intractable Problems”, Problems with “drifts”, which could generally be termed as “side effects”. On the other hand, the same com-possible Scientific Approach based on the Emerging Quality of Self-Organizing Systems, also presents its “Emerging Exits”. Consequently, none of the two mentioned scientific Approaches has the “gift” of “the perfect induction”. However, there are significant differences between the two. Differences that may “suggest” the most appropriate choice among them for an “operative point of view”. We discover that, if the spectrum of a Hamiltonian matches the symmetry of a fermion or boson system in a certain fashion, a perfect quantum state transfer can be implemented without any operation on the medium with pre-engineered nearest neighbor (NN). We also study a simple but realistic near half-filled tight-bindlng fermion system wlth uniform NN hopping integral. We show that an arbitrary many-particle state near the fermi surface can be perfectly transferred to its translational counterpart.展开更多

Recently, a cavity-based nonlinear perfect photon absorption extends the coherent perfect absorber(CPA)beyond the linear regime. As nanowire-based system is a more competitive candidate for full-optical device, we introduce a nonlinear CPA in the single two-level atom–nanowires coupling system in this work. Nonlinear input–output relations are derived analytically, and three contributions of atomic saturation nonlinearity are explicit. The consociation of optical nonlinearity and destructive interference makes it feasible to fabricate a nonlinear monoatomic CPA. Our results also indicate that a nonlinear system may work linearly even when the incoming lights are not weak any more. Our findings show promising applications in full-optical devices.展开更多

In order to maximize spectral efficiency (SE) under delay and packet error rate (PER) performance constraints, a state transition model and an optimization framework with perfect CSI are presented. Then the framework is extended to cooperative relay system with imperfect CSI. The numerical results show that the scheme can achieve maximum SE while satisfying transmitting delay requirements. Compared with the imperfect CSI, the average PER with perfect CSI is much lower and the spectral efficiency is much higher.展开更多

As a two-dimensional(2D)material,monolayer MoS2which limits its optical applications has a low absorption efficiency.In this paper,we propose a three-band perfect metamaterial absorber in the visible light range based...As a two-dimensional(2D)material,monolayer MoS2which limits its optical applications has a low absorption efficiency.In this paper,we propose a three-band perfect metamaterial absorber in the visible light range based on monolayer MoS_(2).The peak absorptivity of the structure at each resonance wavelength is nearly perfect,moreover,the light absorption of monolayer MoS2is obviously enhanced at the three resonant wavelengths.The dielectric–dielectric–metal structure we designed produces the coupling of Fabry–Perot resonance and high-order diffraction guided-mode resonance at different absorption peaks,which has been proved by the slab waveguide theory.In addition,the multi-modal absorption phenomenon is explained by extracting the equivalent impedance.The results show that we can adjust the absorption peak wavelength by regulating the parameters of the structure.This structure not only provides an idea for enhancing the interaction between light and two-dimensional materials but also has potential applications for optical detection devices.展开更多
We propose an efficient method for the generation of perfect W states on three microwave superconducting resonators,of which the two nearest neighbors are coupled by a symmetric direct current superconducting quantum ...We propose an efficient method for the generation of perfect W states on three microwave superconducting resonators,of which the two nearest neighbors are coupled by a symmetric direct current superconducting quantum interference device(dc-SQUID).With suitable external magnetic fluxes applied to the dc-SQUID symmetry loops,on-chip tunable interactions between neighboring resonators can be realized,and different perfect W states can be deterministically created on-demand in one step.Numerical simulations show that high-fidelity target states can be generated and our scheme is robust against imperfect parameter tuning and environment-induced decoherence.The present work may have potential applications for implementing quantum computation and quantum information processing based on microwave photons.展开更多
In numerical simulation of wave propagation,both viscoelastic materials and perfectly matched layers(PMLs)attenuate waves.The wave equations for both the viscoelastic model and the PML contain convolution operators.Ho...In numerical simulation of wave propagation,both viscoelastic materials and perfectly matched layers(PMLs)attenuate waves.The wave equations for both the viscoelastic model and the PML contain convolution operators.However,convolution operator is intractable in finite-difference time-domain(FDTD)method.A great deal of progress has been made in using time stepping instead of convolution in FDTD.To incorporate PML into viscoelastic media,more memory variables need to be introduced,which increases the code complexity and computation costs.By modifying the nonsplitting PML formulation,I propose a viscoelastic model,which can be used as a viscoelastic material and/or a PML just by adjusting the parameters.The proposed viscoelastic model is essentially equivalent to a Maxwell model.Compared with existing PML methods,the proposed method requires less memory and its implementation in existing finite-difference codes is much easier.The attenuation and phase velocity of P-and S-waves are frequency independent in the viscoelastic model if the related quality factors(Q)are greater than 10.The numerical examples show that the method is stable for materials with high absorption(Q=1),and for heterogeneous media with large contrast of acoustic impedance and large contrast of viscosity.展开更多

文摘As a two-dimensional(2D)material,monolayer MoS2which limits its optical applications has a low absorption efficiency.In this paper,we propose a three-band perfect metamaterial absorber in the visible light range based on monolayer MoS_(2).The peak absorptivity of the structure at each resonance wavelength is nearly perfect,moreover,the light absorption of monolayer MoS2is obviously enhanced at the three resonant wavelengths.The dielectric–dielectric–metal structure we designed produces the coupling of Fabry–Perot resonance and high-order diffraction guided-mode resonance at different absorption peaks,which has been proved by the slab waveguide theory.In addition,the multi-modal absorption phenomenon is explained by extracting the equivalent impedance.The results show that we can adjust the absorption peak wavelength by regulating the parameters of the structure.This structure not only provides an idea for enhancing the interaction between light and two-dimensional materials but also has potential applications for optical detection devices.

文摘We propose an efficient method for the generation of perfect W states on three microwave superconducting resonators,of which the two nearest neighbors are coupled by a symmetric direct current superconducting quantum interference device(dc-SQUID).With suitable external magnetic fluxes applied to the dc-SQUID symmetry loops,on-chip tunable interactions between neighboring resonators can be realized,and different perfect W states can be deterministically created on-demand in one step.Numerical simulations show that high-fidelity target states can be generated and our scheme is robust against imperfect parameter tuning and environment-induced decoherence.The present work may have potential applications for implementing quantum computation and quantum information processing based on microwave photons.
文摘In numerical simulation of wave propagation,both viscoelastic materials and perfectly matched layers(PMLs)attenuate waves.The wave equations for both the viscoelastic model and the PML contain convolution operators.However,convolution operator is intractable in finite-difference time-domain(FDTD)method.A great deal of progress has been made in using time stepping instead of convolution in FDTD.To incorporate PML into viscoelastic media,more memory variables need to be introduced,which increases the code complexity and computation costs.By modifying the nonsplitting PML formulation,I propose a viscoelastic model,which can be used as a viscoelastic material and/or a PML just by adjusting the parameters.The proposed viscoelastic model is essentially equivalent to a Maxwell model.Compared with existing PML methods,the proposed method requires less memory and its implementation in existing finite-difference codes is much easier.The attenuation and phase velocity of P-and S-waves are frequency independent in the viscoelastic model if the related quality factors(Q)are greater than 10.The numerical examples show that the method is stable for materials with high absorption(Q=1),and for heterogeneous media with large contrast of acoustic impedance and large contrast of viscosity.
