Analysis of the Application Value of Virtual Reality Combined with Flipped Classroom Teaching Mode in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Teaching

Objective:To analyze the value of using virtual reality combined with the flipped classroom teaching model in teaching cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR).Methods:Two classes of our nursing program were randomly selected for the study from September 2022 to September 2023,Class A(52 students,conventional teaching method)and Class B(52 students,virtual reality combined with flipped classroom teaching mode).The assessment scores and independent learning ability scores of the students in the two classes were compared.Results:CPR theory and operation scores,passing rate,and independent learning ability scores of Class B were higher than those of Class A(P<0.05).Conclusion:the use of virtual reality combined with the flipped classroom teaching mode in CPR teaching is conducive to the improvement of students’assessment scores and independent learning ability.

Can a Teacher Salary Increase Promote Students' Educational Performance?

Policymakers in China have attempted to improve the quality of rural education by investing in teacher salaries through initiatives like the Rural Teachers Support Plan(RTSP).This study estimates the efects of teacher salary increase on students'educational outcomes in rural China by utilizing the exogenous variations of rural teacher salaries induced by the RTSP.It employs an intensity-based difference-in-differences strategy and panel data from 2010 to 2018 with 3,351 rural children.The findings reveal that an increase in teacher salaries had a significant positive impact on students'examination results.Moreover the results of mechanism analysis indicate that salary increases could have both quality and quantity effects on students'outcomes by increasing the proportion of highly educated teachers and reducing the student-teacher ratio.Our findings contribute to the discussion on the importance of teacher salary incentives in education production functions and provide insights for other countries undertaking rural education reforms.

Problems Challenging the Academic Performance of Physics Students in Higher Governmental Institutions in the Case of Arbaminch, Wolayita Sodo, Hawassa and Dilla Universities

This study was conducted to examine problems that challenged academic performance of physics students in higher governmental institutions in the case of Arbaminch, Wolayita Sodo, Hawassa and Dilla Universities. Questionnaires, interviews and video recordings were used to collect relevant data for the study. Data from questionnaires was compiled and analyzed using a computerized data analysis package known as Statistical Package for Social Science SPSS 17.0. The Pearson chi-square test was used to compute to test association between dependent variable and independent variables and T-test was used to find out how academic performance varied with interest to subject matter. On the other hand, ANOVA test was used to test variation of the academic performance in study sites. Besides, percentages were used for comparison of data analysis. The findings reveal the existence of a significant influence of teachers both in fostering positive or negative attitude to subject (physics) and for their poor academic performance in lower class as well as in higher institutions. On the basis of the findings, the least percentage of students (16%) indicated that their current department was the best choice for them during application for admission. Whereas the highest percentage (84%) of sample class students was enrolled in department of physics without their interest and the academic performance (ESELS result), the highest percentage (70) of students who were admitted to department of physics was below 50%. The p values 0.01 and 0.00, respectively for students who are enrolled in department of physics with best choice and without their interest, are less than alpha level of significance (0.05), which reveals that, there is statistical significance academic performance deference between students in both cases. However, the difference is more significant for those students who are enrolled without their interest. By analysis of Pearson chi-square test summary in respective study sites, the p values 0.01, 0.007, 0.021 and 0.022 respectively are less than the alpha (α) level of significance of 0.05, which reveals that there is strong association between those variables. In the other corner of the ANOVA test analysis indicates that p value 0.01 is less than alpha level of significance 0.05. This reveals variation of academic performance of students between four higher governmental institutions where the study is made.

A Performance Assessment Model Recommended for Higher Education System in Turkey and a Case Study

There are so many university ranking systems for academic performance as based on different criteria in the world.These systems,which have been considered since beginning of 2000’s years,have quickly followed with their own hierarchical measures by higher education organizations.This paper mentions the main principles of a new system for university performance in Turkey and summarizes the study,which was made for the performance of selected universities throughout country.The system depends on teaching income,teaching structure,teaching quality,number of publications and projects,the index for entrepreneurial and innovative university,and student satisfaction.The aim is to provide a comparative study with well-balanced and justice decision for the related universities.This study includes the 10 universities(Anadolu,Çukurova,Cumhuriyet,Dicle,Erciyes,Fırat,İnönü,Ondokuz Mayis,Selçuk,and Uludağ)which were founded between 1973 and 1978.In this study,data belonging to the period of 2010 and 2014 have been considered for the related universities.This study indicates that enlargement rate,localization,politicization,and degradation on management system influence the performance of universities.

A study of student performance under English teaching using a decision tree algorithm

With the popularity of English, more and more attention has been paid to students’ Englishlearning. In order to understand student learning and make accurate predictions about studentperformance, this paper analyzed student performance under English teaching by using adecision tree algorithm, i.e. the C4.5 algorithm. The calculation process of the algorithm was simplifiedby the Taylor series, and an example was analyzed. The results showed that the runningtime of the improved C4.5 algorithm was improved by 22.86% compared with the C4.5 algorithm,the precision rate was above 75%, the recall rate was above 85%, and the F1-measure value wasabove 80%. The experimental results verified the effectiveness of the improved C4.5 method instudying student achievement. This work is beneficial to the further optimization of decision treealgorithms and provides some reference for the application of intelligent algorithms in the fieldof education.

为解决传统实践教学在时间、空间上的局限性,增强实践教学的互动性,以虚拟智慧城市中的物联网创新应用为研究对象,结合虚拟现实技术,在实验内容和教学模式中融入价值创造和创业素养,构建融入“创新实验路径”和“多层次综合实验项目”的物联网专业沉浸式3D虚拟仿真实验平台。采用布鲁姆教学目标分类法设计3D虚拟仿真实验教学目标,并按照IAPVE的实施模型,构建基于3D虚拟仿真实验平台的教学实施模型和考核评价模型。实施结果表明,该3D虚拟仿真实验平台及教学实施和考核评价模型可指导实践教学改革,实现学生综合能力的全面协同提升。

基于访谈法探索科室教学绩效的建立及对临床教学的影响

目的探索科室教学绩效的建立及其对临床教学的影响。方法运用半结构访谈法,构建科室教学绩效考核体系。通过Likert调查问卷,半结构访谈法及检索教学智慧平台数据等方式,分析教学绩效体系对临床教学的影响。结果临床教师对科室教学绩效体系满意度良好,认为可提高自身薪酬、改善教学即时反馈及教学积极性,其中,医疗小组组员评价更高。教学区长认为教学绩效对科室教学管理具有重要的促进作用。在教学绩效改革后,住院医师规培化培训年度考核理论成绩较前有明显的上升。结论科室教学绩效体系合理稳定,可提高临床教师的教学积极性,优化科室的教学工作,并提高教学质量。

根据消防工程专业课程实践教学中的灭火实验需求,设计和搭建了泡沫灭火综合教学实验平台,该实验平台由发泡实验平台、析液实验平台、蔓延实验平台、灭火实验平台和抗烧实验平台构成,能够实现泡沫灭火剂的稳定性、蔓延性能、灭火效能和抗烧性能的测试,满足泡沫灭火实验教学要求。通过实验操作与结果分析将理论与实践紧密联系,有助于巩固学生理论知识和增强学生学习兴趣,为培养具有工程实践和科研创新能力的高素质和高质量消防人才发挥积极作用。

基于超星平台的飞机性能工程课程群线上教学质量监控指标研究

针对线上教学质量不均衡和难以监控的问题,有必要对混合式教学模式下的线上教学质量进行监控和评价。以飞机性能工程课程群为对象,开展学习效果和线上学习行为的关联性研究。基于超星平台4个学年的统计数据,初步形成6个一级指标、24个二级指标。首先通过数据预处理删除无效和共线性指标;然后通过描述性统计分析,得出样本数据的分布规律,删除异常指标;接着对15个指标进行相关性分析,得出影响期末考试成绩的相关性指标;最后对剩余指标进行主成分分析并进行排序,形成飞机性能工程课程群线上教学质量监控指标的依次为签到完成率(x_(8))、章节测验总均分(x_(24))、视频观看时长(x_(3))、章节测验参与均分(x_(23))、章节学习次数(x_(1))、任务完成率(x_(5))、章节测验参与率(x_(22))7个学生线上学习行为指标。
