It is necessary to interpret the consciously capturing process of the knowledge that is formed unconsciously. Storytelling is important in the capturing and conveying of tacit knowledge. Culture, structure, system, and the knowledge holders within the organization also affect the transfer of personal knowledge. The company M, has successfully created knowledge based on transfer of personal knowledge by leveraging the organization mechanism "The board of advisors". In order to elucidate the process, the author analyzed the recordings of the passing on contents using the protocol analysis. 展开更多

Is there a national philosophy?It is hard to answer the question definitively,beyond mainstream philosophical currents and a supposed particular tradition.Beyond an invisible boundary,today,academic research is also defined by its international and interdisciplinary dimension.Although it is possible to argue about certain specificities,the interaction between different national traditions and distant scientific areas can be fruitful(and these parameters are also required in the case of research funding).One can take an example of the reception of Michael Polanyi’s epistemology in Italy,starting from a brief reference to the Italian tradition and its renewed interest thanks to the Italian Thought.Therefore,in this paper,I will try to consider Polanyi’s epistemology through his relations with Italian intellectuals and the dissemination of his writings in Italy.In the end,I will verify the potential contribution of Polanyian personal epistemology in three philosophical and social issues addressed in Italy. 展开更多

Management information system(MiS),a human-computer system that deeply integrates next-generation information technology and management services,has become the nerve center of society and organizations.With the development of next-generation information technology,Mis has gradually entered the smart period.However,research on smart managementinformation systems(SMIS)is still limited,lacking systematic summarization of its conceptual definition,evolution,research hotspots,and typical applications.Therefore,this paper defines the conceptual characteristics of SMIS,provides an overview of the evolution of SMIS,examines research focus areas using bibliometric methods,and elaborates on typical application practices of sMis in fields such as health care,elderly care,manufacturing,and transportation.Furthermore,we discuss the future development directions of SMIS in four key areas:smart interaction,smart decisionmaking,efficient resource allocation,and flexible system architecture.These discussions provide guidance and a foundation for the theoretical development and practical application of SMIS. 展开更多

This paper reports the impact of a new Canada and China school network on its participating teachers in the context of the Canada−China Partnership Grant Project.Eight schools formed four pairs of sister schools,and teachers in these schools created collaborations embedded in their practices.The data include interviews of teachers and principals in both countries and records of teachers’cross-cultural collaborations.Informed by the literature on teacher learning and professional learning communities,this paper shows benefits of international teacher communities.Also,it explores a new approach to research that features spatiality considerations reflecting a new trend in the comparative education literature.Focusing on teacher knowledge and practice,it shows reciprocal effects of collaboration in the international school network.Finally,this paper links the research results to the literature in a way that highlights the potential of international teacher professional learning communities and contributions of this kind of practice and research. 展开更多
