This paper presents the results of investigation by computer software of the overvoltages resulting from a ferroresonance conditions in MV networks at open phase operating condition with and without connection to earth on source and load sides of distribution transformer. This overvoltage may reach 4.2 pu on one of the HV side of transformer unswitched phases. The results of the study show that ferroresonance overvoltage may be controlled by replacing fuses with circuit breakers on HV side to ensure switching-off all phases. Insertion of resistor or reactor in the neutral of source and loadsides of the transformer with 5% active load will help in suppressing overvoltages.展开更多
Extraction of methane hydrate from subseafloor reservoir may potentially trigger seabed slides and induce subsidence.To address the problems,it is crucial to properly characterize the phase equilibrium condition of po...Extraction of methane hydrate from subseafloor reservoir may potentially trigger seabed slides and induce subsidence.To address the problems,it is crucial to properly characterize the phase equilibrium condition of pore hydrate and the shear strength of the soil.As one of the key constitutive components,the phase equilibrium condition enforces a constraint over pore gas pressure,temperature and unhydrated water content.Such a constraint,however,has been traditionally ignored in analyzing the mechanical behavior of hydrate-bearing soil.In this paper,a series of stepwise hydrate dissociation tests was performed,and the phase equilibrium condition of pore hydrate was determined,providing an effective way to evaluate the unhydrated water content during hydrate dissociation.Meanwhile,a series of direct shear tests was also conducted to explore the shear strength characteristics of the soil.It is shown that the shear strength of the hydrate-bearing soil can be significantly influenced by pore gas pressure,unhydrated water content,hydrate saturation and several other factors.In particular,the measured shear strength depends upon the initial water content of the sample,pointing to a potential problem that the shear strength could be wrongly determined if not properly interpreted.A shear strength criterion,which enforces the equilibrium condition of pore hydrate,is developed for hydrate-bearing soil,establishing a link between the equilibrium condition and the shear strength.The proposed equation describes well the shear strength characteristics of hydrate-bearing soils,remarkably unifying the effects of pore pressure,temperature,water content and hydrate saturation.展开更多

Recently, a novel solid-state cavity quantum electrodynamics (QED) system, in which the nitrogen-vacancy (NV) center in diamond is coupled to a microtoroidal resonator (MTR), has been proposed as a poten- tial system for hybrid quantum information and computing. By virtue of such systems, we present a scheme to realize a nonlocal N-qubit conditional phase gate directly. Our scheme employs a cavity input-output process and single-photon interference, without the use of any auxiliary entanglement pair or classical communication. Considering the currently available technologies, our scheme might be quite useful among different nodes in quantum networks for large-scaled QIP.展开更多

Based on this gate proposal, we give a detailed procedure to implement the three-qubit quantum Fourier transform with circuit quantum eleetrodynamics (QED). In the process of microemulsion flooding,microemulsion phase state may be affected by the adsorption of core and the distribution of oil and water,and the upper phase,the middle phase or the lower phase microemulsion ...In the process of microemulsion flooding,microemulsion phase state may be affected by the adsorption of core and the distribution of oil and water,and the upper phase,the middle phase or the lower phase microemulsion will appear.Accurate description of microemulsion phase state and quantitative discrimination of equilibrium phase composition are of great theoretical value and research significance for the design of microemulsion flooding system and improving the recovery efficiency of microemulsion.Therefore,in this paper,microemulsion phase model is deeply studied.Aiming at the difficulty of solving the existing Hand model and the unknown parameters of the improved HLD-NAC model,we introduce the binodal curve range parameter D and the asymmetric migration degree parameter B,and establish a new phase behavior description method of the binodal curve,the two-phase plait point lines and the III-phase node line.Then the phase discrimination programming of microemulsion was carried out,and the change laws of phase number,phase type and mass fraction of equilibrium phases of any microemulsion system under different salinity were revealed.The results show that the simulation results of microemulsions accord with the salinity scanning law,and can accurately identify the complex microemulsion phase states.展开更多

The optimized reaction conditions are defined as an(NH_4)_2SO_4/zinc molar ratio of 1.4:1, a roasting ...An orthogonal test was used to optimize the reaction conditions of roasting zinc oxide ore using(NH_4)_2SO_4. The optimized reaction conditions are defined as an(NH_4)_2SO_4/zinc molar ratio of 1.4:1, a roasting temperature of 440°C, and a thermostatic time of 60 min. The molar ratio of(NH_4)_2SO_4/zinc is the most predominant factor and the roasting temperature is the second significant factor that governs the zinc extraction. Thermogravimetric-differential thermal analysis was used for(NH_4)_2SO_4 and zinc mixed in a molar ratio of 1.4:1 at the heating rates of 5, 10, 15, and 20 K·min-1. Two strong endothermic peaks indicate that the complex chemical reactions occur at approximately 290°C and 400°C. XRD analysis was employed to examine the transformations of mineral phases during roasting process. Kinetic parameters, including reaction apparent activation energy, reaction order, and frequency factor, were calculated by the Doyle-Ozawa and Kissinger methods. Corresponding to the two endothermic peaks, the kinetic equations were obtained.展开更多
