By using these st...This paper studies the voltage, phase and current tracking strategy to eliminate voltage and current mutations when the virtual synchronous generator is switching between grid-connected and islanded. By using these strategies the inverter can realize secondary frequency regulation and voltage regulation. If the phase is near 0 or 2π a little disturbance may made the PLL output a big error, so a new PLL is proposed by this paper. A sine module is added in the PLL to avoid this error. In order to verify the strategy proposed by this paper a simulation model is built in Matlab/Simulink. The simulation results show that the control strategy can realize seamless switching.展开更多

The converter efficiency is maximized due to soft switching of the full bridge MOSFETs and the synchronous MOSFETs, and also the low conduction loss of synchronous MOSFET. The operation principles of the circuit are analyzed in detail and the small-signal model is derived, also the converter dynamic characteristics are analyzed. Frequency responses of transfer functions under different values of transformer primary leakage inductance are discussed. The experimental results were obtained from a 400 V input and 100 A/12 V output DC/DC converter operating at 100 kHz. The results show that the converter efficiency is 2% higher in rated power than traditional diode rectifier.展开更多

First, by a common unitary matrix, the problem of synchronization is transformed into the stability analysis of some linear switched delay systems. Then, when all subnetworks are synchronizable, a delay-dependent sufficient condition is given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) which guarantees the solvability of the synchronization problem under an average dwell time scheme. We extend this result to the case that not all subnetworks are synchronizable. It is shown that in addition to average dwell time, if the ratio of the total activation time of synchronizable and non-synchronizable subnetworks satisfy an extra condition, then the problem is also solvable. Two numerical examples of delayed dynamical networks with switching topology are given, which demonstrate the effectiveness of obtained results.展开更多
This paper presents a new four-dimensional(4 D) autonomous chaotic system which has first Lyapunov exponent of about 22 and is comparatively larger than many existing three-dimensional(3 D) and 4 D chaotic systems...This paper presents a new four-dimensional(4 D) autonomous chaotic system which has first Lyapunov exponent of about 22 and is comparatively larger than many existing three-dimensional(3 D) and 4 D chaotic systems.The proposed system exhibits hyperbolic curve and circular paraboloid types of equilibria.The system has all zero eigenvalues for a particular case of an equilibrium point.The system has various dynamical behaviors like hyperchaotic,chaotic,periodic,and quasi-periodic.The system also exhibits coexistence of attractors.Dynamical behavior of the new system is validated using circuit implementation.Further an interesting switching synchronization phenomenon is proposed for the new chaotic system.An adaptive global integral sliding mode control is designed for the switching synchronization of the proposed system.In the switching synchronization,the synchronization is shown for the switching chaotic,stable,periodic,and hybrid synchronization behaviors.Performance of the controller designed in the paper is compared with an existing controller.展开更多

Finite-control-set model predictive control(FCS-MPC), as an advanced control scheme, has been developed and applied to improve the performance and efficiency of the holistic PMSM drive systems. Based on the three elements of model predictive control, this paper provides an overview of the superiority of the FCS-MPC control scheme and its shortcomings in current applications. The problems of parameter mismatch, computational burden, and unfixed switching frequency are summarized. Moreover, other performance improvement schemes, such as the multi-vector application strategy, delay compensation scheme, and weight factor adjustment, are reviewed. Finally, future trends in this field is discussed, and several promising research topics are highlighted.展开更多

Based on the Lyapunov approach, the adaptation law is determined to tune the controller gain vector online according to the possible nonlinearities. In this work based on Lyapunov stability theory a sliding mode controller with time-varying switching surfaces is proposed to achieve chaos synchronization at a pre-specified time for the first time. The proposed controller is able to synchronize chaotic systems precisely at any time when we want. Moreover, by choosing the time-varying switching surfaces in a way that the reaching phase is eliminated, the synchronization becomes robust to uncertainties and exogenous disturbances. Simulation results are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed method of stabilizing and synchronizing chaotic systems with complete robustness to uncertainty and disturbances exactly at a pre-specified time.展开更多

An interaction dynamics model based on motion synchronization is first established. Considering the mobility of mobile robot networks, we propose a relay switched, distributed topology control for the scalable network to drive neMy added robots to the most suitable positions with more neighbors as well as self-heal the blank positions of failed robots, and give a metric of the topology structure for evaluating the performance of network topologies. Then, we prove the stability of motion synchronization with the individual control based on Lyapunov exponent. In the trigger circuit, a 200 pF capacitor is charged by a microsecond-scale 18 kV pulse and thendischarged via the high-gain mode GaAs PCSS to trigger the high-power trigatron switch.
