Response of photosynthesis,growth,and acorn mass of pedunculate oak to diff erent levels of nitrogen in wet and dry growing seasons

The objective was to examine the effects of optimal leaf nitrogen levels>2.0%and suboptimal levels<2.0%,nitrogen nutrition on net photo synthetic rate,stem diameter increment,height growth increment and acorn mass of pedunculate oak during 2010 in the absence of drought stress and during 2011 under the impact of moderate drought stress.According to the results,moderate drought stress significantly reduced net photo synthetic rate,stem diameter increment and height growth increment,while acorn mass was not affected.Suboptimal nitrogen nutrition significantly reduced the net photo synthetic rate and stem diameter increment only in the wet year,acorn mass in both wet and dry years,while height growth increment was not significantly reduced by suboptimal nitrogen nutrition in either year.The results indicate that optimal nitrogen levels can stimulate photo synthetic rate and stem diameter increment of pedunculate oak only in the absence of moderate drought stress.Moreover,the results show that moderate drought stress is a more dominant stressor for photosynthesis and growth of pedunculate oak than suboptimal nitrogen nutrition,while for acorn development,it is the more dominant stressor. 展开更多

In order to study the mechanism of the transgenic male sterility induced by the antisense fragment of gene CYP86MF, some physiological and biochemical indexes were compared between the transgenic plantlets of Chinese cabbage-pak-choi(Brassica campestris L. ssp. chinensis Makino)and their controls. Results showed that there was significant difference between content of the endogenous hormones in leaves and floral buds. GA3 contents in leaves of the transgenic plantlets of B. campestris L. ssp. chinensis Makino cv. Shanghai-qing and cv. Youqing were reduced by 31. 72 and 46. 88% respectively as compared with those of their controls, and GA3 contents in floral buds of them were reduced by 62. 92 and 80. 57 % respectively. In addition, ZT contents in leaves of cv. Shanghai-qing and cv. Youqing were reduced by 11. 81 and 181. 20% respectively as compared with those of their controls and those in floral buds were reduced by 105. 94 and 128.75 % respectively. But, ABA content in transgenic plantlets was significantly higher than that in non-transgenic plantlets. However, differences among respiratory rate and cyanide-resistant respiratory rate, the photosynthesic rate and the content of total flavones in floral buds were not significant. In this study, the results indicated that the gene CYP86MF might be one of the key functional genes to control fertility of Chinese cabbage. 展开更多

通过半叶法,测定了小黑杨、黑林1号杨、拟青杨×山海关杨、中黑防1号杨、银中杨等5个杨树优良品种的光合速率、净生产力,结果表明:几个品种光合净生产力差异明显,生长量最优的品种为拟青杨×山海关杨。

应用稳定同位素13C-CO2连续标记技术,通过室内密闭培养试验研究不同施氮处理下(依次为N0,N10,N20,N40,N60)水稻分蘖期光合碳向土壤碳库的输入及其分配特征.结果表明,连续标记培养18 d后,水稻地上部和根系的干物质累积量分别为1.58~4.35 ... 应用稳定同位素13C-CO2连续标记技术,通过室内密闭培养试验研究不同施氮处理下(依次为N0,N10,N20,N40,N60)水稻分蘖期光合碳向土壤碳库的输入及其分配特征.结果表明,连续标记培养18 d后,水稻地上部和根系的干物质累积量分别为1.58~4.35 g·plot-1和1.05~2.44 g·plot-1,水稻植株生物量受施氮处理显著影响,且随着施氮量增加而增加,即N60>N40>N20>N10>N0.水稻整个分蘖期内分别有44.0~157.6 g·plot-1和8.3~49.4 g·plot-1的光合碳进入水稻地上部和根系.不同施氮水平下,种植水稻的土壤有机碳(13C-SOC)、可溶性有机碳(13C-DOC)和微生物量碳(13C-MBC)的分配量均显著高于CK处理(不种植水稻且不施N).种植水稻的土壤13C-SOC含量范围为11.1~23.7 g·plot-1,占总净同化量的10.2%~18.1%.对于活性碳库,CK处理的土壤13C-DOC和13C-MBC含量分别为3.50μg·kg-1和88.9μg·kg-1,种植水稻处理的土壤13C-DOC、13C-MBC含量范围为4.82~14.51μg·kg-1、526.1~1 478.8μg·kg-1.土壤13C-SOC、13C-DOC和13C-MBC含量受施氮处理显著影响(P<0.05),且与植物生物量呈显著正相关关系.因此,水稻分蘖期光合碳的地下部输入有利于土壤有机碳的累积,施氮能够促进水稻新鲜根际碳的沉积,且高N水平下根际沉积碳量高于低N和中量N水平. 展开更多
