Construction of TiO_(2)-pillared multilayer graphene nanocomposites as efficient photocatalysts for ciprofloxacin degradation 被引量:8

We successfully constructed TiO_(2)-pillared multilayer graphene nanocomposites(T-MLGs)via a facile method as follows:dodecanediamine pre-pillaring,ion exchange(Ti4+pillaring),and interlayer in-situ formation of TiO_(2) by hydrothermal method.TiO_(2) nanoparticles were distributed uniformly on the graphene interlayer.The special structure combined the advantages of graphene and TiO_(2) nanoparticles.As a result,T-MLGs with 64.3wt%TiO_(2) showed the optimum photodegradation rate and adsorption capabilities toward ciprofloxacin.The photodegradation rate of T-MLGs with 64.3wt%TiO_(2) was 78%under light-emitting diode light irradiation for 150 min.Meanwhile,the pseudofirst-order rate constant of T-MLGs with 64.3wt%TiO_(2) was 3.89 times than that of pristine TiO_(2).The composites also exhibited high stability and reusability after five consecutive photocatalytic tests.This work provides a facile method to synthesize semiconductor-pillared graphene nanocomposites by replacing TiO_(2) nanoparticles with other nanoparticles and a feasible means for sustainable utilization of photocatalysts in wastewater control. 展开更多

This vertically self‐pillared(VSP)structure extends the application range of traditional porous materials with facile mass/ion transport and enhanced reaction kinetics.Here,we prepare a single crystal metal‐organic framework(MOF),employing the ZIF‐67 structure as a proof of concept,which is constructed by vertically self‐pillared nanosheets(VSP‐MOF).We further converted VSP‐MOF into VSP‐cobalt sulfide(VSP‐CoS2)through a sulfidation process.Catalysis plays an important role in almost all battery technologies;for metallic batteries,lithium anodes exhibit a high theoretical specific capacity,low density,and low redox potential.However,during the half‐cell reaction(Li++e=Li),uncontrolled dendritic Li penetrates the separator and solid electrolyte interphase layer.When employed as a composite scaffold for lithium metal deposition,there are many advantage to using this framework:1)the VSP‐CoS2 substrate provides a high specific surface area to dissipate the ion flux and mass transfer and acts as a pre‐catalyst,2)the catalytic Co center favors the charge transfer process and preferentially binds the Li+with the enhanced electrical fields,and 3)the VSP structure guides the metallic propagation along the nanosheet 2D orientation without the protrusive dendrites.All these features enable the VSP structure in metallic batteries with encouraging performances. 展开更多

The graphene-based microsupercapacitors(MSCs)suffer from graphene aggregation issue in electrodes.It reduces the electrolyte ions transportation in the electrodes to degrade the charge storage ability of MSCs,hampering their practical application.Increasing the electrolyte ions transportation in the electrodes can boost the charge storage ability of MSCs.Herein,we design and experimentally realize pillar array structure of graphene electrodes for MSCs by direct ink writing technology.The graphene electrodes with pillar array structure increase the contact area with electrolyte and short the electrolyte ions transport path,facilitating electrolyte ions transport in electrodes.The MSCs exhibit high areal capacitance of 25.67 mF·cm^(−2),high areal energy density of 20.54μWh·cm^(−2),and high power density of 1.45 mW·cm^(−2).One single MSCs can power timer for 10 min and pressure sensor more than 160 min,showing high practical application possibility.This work provides a new avenue for developing high performance MSCs. 展开更多

An efficient method for the synthesis of some difunctionalized copillar[5]arene Schiff bases from condensation of salicylaldehyde and its 5-chloro,5-bromo,3,5-di(t-butyl) substituted derivatives with corresponding diamino-functionalized copillar[5]arene,which were prepared by Gabriel reaction according to the reported method.Single-crystals of six copillar[5]arenes were determined by X-ray diffraction.An ORTEP of compounds showed that the two chains units of Schiff base exist in the outside of the cavity of pillar[5]arene.Furthermore,the complexing ability of these Schiff bases to transition metal ions were investigated by UV and fluorescence spectroscopy. 展开更多
