It has been challenging to design seedling pick-up mechanism based on given key points and trajectories,because it involves dimensional synthesis and rod length optimization.In this paper,the dimensional synthesis of ...It has been challenging to design seedling pick-up mechanism based on given key points and trajectories,because it involves dimensional synthesis and rod length optimization.In this paper,the dimensional synthesis of seedling pickup mechanism with planetary gear train was studied based on the data of given key points and the trajectory of the endpoint of seedling pick-up mechanism.Given the positions and orientations requirements of the five key points,the study first conducted a dimensional synthesis of the linkage size and center of rotation.The next steps were to select a reasonable solution and optimize the data values based on the ideal seedling trajectory.The link motion was driven by the planetary gear train of the two-stage gear.Four pitch curves of noncircular gears were obtained by calculating and distributing the transmission ratio according to the data.For the pitch curve with two convex points,the tooth profile design method of incomplete noncircular gear was applied.The seedling pick-up mechanism was tested by a virtual prototype and a physical prototype designed with the obtained parameter values.The results were consistent with the theoretical design requirements,confirming that the mechanism meets the expected requirements for picking seedlings up.This paper presents a new design method of vegetable pot seedling pick-up mechanism for an automatic vegetable transplanter.展开更多

Under the same condition of power transmission, they have a more compact struc...Planetary gear systems have been widely used in transportation, construction, metallurgy, petroleum, aviation and other industrial fields. Under the same condition of power transmission, they have a more compact structure than ordinary gear train. However, some critical parts, such as sun gear, planet gear and ring gear often suffer from fatigue and wear under the conditions of high speed and heavy load. For reliability research, in order to predict the fatigue probability life of planetary gear system, detailed kinematic and mechanical analysis for a planetary gear system is firstly completed. Meanwhile, a gear bending fatigue test is carried out at a stress level to obtain the strength information of specific gears. Then, a life distribution transformation model is established according to the order statistics theory. Transformation process is that, the life distribution of test gear is transformed to that of single tooth, and then the life distribution of single tooth can be effectively transformed to that of the planetary gear system. In addition, the effectiveness of the transformation model is finally verified by a processing method with random censoring data.展开更多

Few studies were focused on the load-sharing characteristics of double-row planetary gear(DRPG)systems with bearings.Meanwhile,the supported bearing has an important influence on the transmission characteristics of th...Few studies were focused on the load-sharing characteristics of double-row planetary gear(DRPG)systems with bearings.Meanwhile,the supported bearing has an important influence on the transmission characteristics of the entire system.To overcome this problem,a multi-body dynamic(MBD)model of the DRPG system fully considering the influences of bearing parameters is established.Dynamic loads among contacting gear pairs have been obtained to calculate the load-sharing coefficient(LSC)of the system.The LSC of each gear tooth pair has been compared to study the effect of the supported bearing clearance on the load-sharing characteristics.These methods are based on Hertz contact theory.The liner stiffness and damping are used in the model.The results show that the supported bearing clearance has a greatly effect on the LSC of the DRPG system.Choosing appropriate clearance parameters of supported bearing can help suppress the uneven load distribution of the DRPG system.The results can provide some guidance to find new method to study the LSC and increase the service life of planetary gear systems.展开更多

Conducting damage perception of planetary gear trains is of great significance for the safe operation of equipment. Existing methods for damage perception of planetary gear trains mainly rely on linear vibration analysis. However, these methods based on linear vibration signal analysis face challenges such as rich vibration sources, complex signal coupling and modulation mechanisms, significant influence of transmission paths, and difficulties in separating damage information. This paper proposes a method for separating instantaneous angular speed (IAS) signals for planetary gear fault diagnosis. Firstly, this method obtains encoder pulse signals through a built-in encoder. Based on this, it calculates the IAS signals using the Hilbert transform, and obtains the time-domain synchronous average signal of the IAS of the planetary gear through time-domain synchronous averaging technology, thus realizing the fault diagnosis of the planetary gear train. Experimental results validate the effectiveness of the calculated IAS signals, demonstrating that the time-domain synchronous averaging technology can highlight impact characteristics, effectively separate and extract fault impacts, greatly reduce the testing cost of experiments, and provide an effective tool for the fault diagnosis of planetary gear trains.展开更多
In order to solve the problem of the high-speed mechanized transplanting of rice plug seedlings,the design requirements of transplanting mechanism for rice plug seedlings were analyzed and a kind of rice plug seedling...In order to solve the problem of the high-speed mechanized transplanting of rice plug seedlings,the design requirements of transplanting mechanism for rice plug seedlings were analyzed and a kind of rice plug seedling transplanting mechanism of planetary gear train based on the drive with incomplete eccentric circular gear and non-circular gears was designed innovatively.The laboratory kinematics was examined.The working principle of the transplanting mechanism for rice plug seedlings was studied,kinematics analysis of the transplanting mechanism was carried out and its kinematic model was set up.A human-computer interaction optimization method was used to optimize the parameters of the transplanting mechanism.The computer aided analysis and optimization software of the transplanting mechanism based on Visual Basic 6.0 was developed.Through analyzing the influence of design variables on the optimization objectives of the transplanting mechanism,a set of parameters of the transplanting mechanism which meet the requirements of transplanting trajectory and posture for transplanting rice seedlings were obtained by means of human-computer interaction.The structure of the transplanting mechanism was designed according to this set of parameters,and its virtual prototype and physical prototype were set up and manufactured,respectively.The kinematic simulation test and high-speed photography kinematic test of the transplanting mechanism were conducted to obtain its kinematic performances,such as transplanting trajectory and posture.The results of bench test,simulation analysis and theoretical analysis were almost in agreement,which verified the correctness of the theoretical model and design results of the transplanting mechanism,indicating that the optimized transplanting mechanism can satisfy the requirements of transplanting rice seedlings and be applied in the rice plug seedling transplanter.展开更多
Planetary gear train is a prominent component of helicopter transmission system and its health is of great significance for the flight safety of the helicopter.During health condition monitoring,the selection of a fau...Planetary gear train is a prominent component of helicopter transmission system and its health is of great significance for the flight safety of the helicopter.During health condition monitoring,the selection of a fault sensitive feature subset is meaningful for fault diagnosis of helicopter planetary gear train.According to actual situation,this paper proposed a multi-criteria fusion feature selection algorithm (MCFFSA) to identify an optimal feature subset from the highdimensional original feature space.In MCFFSA,a fault feature set of multiple domains,including time domain,frequency domain and wavelet domain,is first extracted from the raw vibration dataset.Four targeted criteria are then fused by multi-objective evolutionary algorithm based on decomposition (MOEA/D) to find Proto-efficient subsets,wherein two criteria for measuring diagnostic performance are assessed by sparse Bayesian extreme learning machine (SBELM).Further,Fmeasure is adopted to identify the optimal feature subset,which was employed for subsequent fault diagnosis.The effectiveness of MCFFSA is validated through six fault recognition datasets from a real helicopter transmission platform.The experimental results illustrate the superiority of combination of MOEA/D and SBELM in MCFFSA,and comparative analysis demonstrates that the optimal feature subset provided by MCFFSA can achieve a better diagnosis performance than other algorithms.展开更多

The natural frequencies based on the eigenvalue problem of dynamic model of planetary transmission are solved and the associated vibration modes are discussed. The rules are revealed which are the influences of the ring gear elastic supports stiffness and rim thickness on natural frequencies of planetary transmission. The theoretical analysis indicates that the vibration modes of planetary transmission with thin-walled ring gear on elastic supports are classified into seven types: Ⅰ/Ⅱ stage coupled rotational mode,Ⅰ stage translational mode,Ⅰ stage planet mode,Ⅱ stage translational mode,Ⅱ stage degenerate planet mode,Ⅱ stage distinct planet mode and purely ring gear mode. For each vibration mode, its properties are summarized. To design a clamping-pot-type wide-narrow-row pot seedling transplanting(WPST)mechanism with desired spatial beak-shaped trajectory and working posture,a new design method of planetary gear train transplanting mechani...To design a clamping-pot-type wide-narrow-row pot seedling transplanting(WPST)mechanism with desired spatial beak-shaped trajectory and working posture,a new design method of planetary gear train transplanting mechanism(PGTM)with non-circular gears based on several key spatial poses(position and posture)was proposed.The PGTM was simplified to a spatial open-loop chain with two-revolute(2R)joints.The geometric constraint equations containing only the structural parameters of the chain were then established on the basis of the three key spatial poses,and the homotopy algorithm was used to obtain all the required parameters of the mechanism.In accordance with the parameters obtained,the relative angular displacement relation between the planet carrier and the transplanting arm was optimized,the trajectory of the mechanism was replayed,and the total transmission ratio was determined.The degree of freedom of the spatial 2R mechanism was reduced by attaching to the unequal gear pair,and the transmission ratio was distributed in accordance with the gear type to realize the design of a non-circular gear pitch curve.Lastly,a clamping-pot-type PGTM for rice WPST driven by the combination of planar non-circular and non-conical gears was designed,and virtual simulation and prototype test were conducted.Results showed that the simulation and prototype test trajectories were consistent with the desired trajectory.Under the operating speeds of 50 r/min and 90 r/min,the success rates of seedling picking were 95.32%and 90.15%,respectively,which verified the feasibility of the theoretical method.This method could provide a reference for the design of a spatial PGTM with nonuniform transmission.展开更多
To obtain the optimal seedling taking trajectory,this study proposed the adjustment of the total transmission ratio curve by using human-computer interaction.On the basis of this design method,a planetary non-circular...To obtain the optimal seedling taking trajectory,this study proposed the adjustment of the total transmission ratio curve by using human-computer interaction.On the basis of this design method,a planetary non-circular gear mechanism was designed that can realize the twice unequal amplitude transmission ratio to meet the seedling harvesting requirements.The cubic non-uniform B-spline curve was used to fit the twice unequal amplitude transmission ratio curve,and the transmission ratio was freely distributed in two levels.The seedling pick-up mechanism was designed by controlling the seedling taking track and the corresponding attitude directly through the local section of the total transmission ratio,and the gear pitch curve was directly controlled by the transmission ratio.The kinematics model of the seedling pick-up mechanism was also established.Furthermore,the influence of the total transmission ratio on the seedling picking track,the ratio of the wave crest to the amplitude,and the mechanism parameters were discussed.A human-computer interactive optimization software was developed using Matlab,and a set of optimal parameters for the seedling pick-up mechanism was obtained to meet the transplanting requirements.By using the Adams software,the virtual prototype simulation of the seedling pick-up mechanism was completed,and the idle experiment for the track and attitude of the prototype was conducted through high-speed camera technology.The theoretical,simulated,and experimental trajectories were consistent with each other.Results revealed that the success rate of the seedling picking exceeded 90%when the rotation speeds were 40 r/min,50 r/min,and 60 r/min,and the qualified rate of the matrix decreased with the increase in rotating speed.Moreover,the number of damaged plants increased with the increase in rotating speed.The experimental results showed that the seedling pick-up mechanism designed using the proposed method demonstrated a good effect and met the required seedling picking performance.展开更多

At present,there is a lack of miniaturized and highly reliable plug seedling transplanting mechanism in flowerpots planting operation,in order to meet the needs of large displacement and high vertical uprightness for ...At present,there is a lack of miniaturized and highly reliable plug seedling transplanting mechanism in flowerpots planting operation,in order to meet the needs of large displacement and high vertical uprightness for flower transplanting,the paper combined the transmission characteristics of the non-circular gear planetary gear train with the swing flexibility of the cam gear and proposed a double planet carrier planetary gear transplanting mechanism.The linkage of the mechanism performs variable speed rotation relative to the first planet carrier,the linkage serves as the second planet carrier,and the transplanting arm performs variable speed swing relative to the linkage.A mathematical model of a single planetary carrier mechanism was first established using the method of open linkage group solution domain synthesis,then established the kinematic equations of the second planet carrier and the transplanting arm.The two parts are combined to form the mathematical solution model of the proposed mechanism.The initial trajectory was planned according to the trajectory requirements of seedlings planting operation,the non-circular gear pitch curve in the first planet carrier was obtained and the length of the first planet carrier is 120 mm.Then using the key points’angular deviation between the initial trajectory and the improved trajectory to obtain the cam parameters which driving the transplant arm,consequently determined the length of the second planet carrier is 69.25 mm and the length of the transplant arm is 112.4 mm.Finally,the prototype of the mechanism was manufactured,and the test verified the correctness of the design method of the double planet carrier planetary gear flower potting transplanting mechanism.The transplanting success rate of this mechanism reached 94.43%,and the plug seedlings planted in flowerpots had high uprightness.This research can provide a reference for the automatic development of research on flower transplanting machines.展开更多
Planetary gear trains are widely applied in various transmission units.Whether strengths of all gears are accurately calculated or not can affect reliability of the entire system significantly.Strength calculation met...Planetary gear trains are widely applied in various transmission units.Whether strengths of all gears are accurately calculated or not can affect reliability of the entire system significantly.Strength calculation method for planetary gear trains usually follows the method for cylindrical gears,in which the worst meshing positions for both contact stress and bending stress cannot be determined precisely,and calculation results tend to be conservative.To overcome these shortcomings,a kinematics analysis for a planetary gear train is firstly performed,in which the influence of relative speed is investigated.Then the finite element strength analysis of a planetary gear train based on its transient meshing properties is carried out in ANSYS.Time–history curves of contact and bending stresses of sun gear,planetary gears and ring gear are respectively obtained.Also the accurate moment and its corresponding position of the maximum stress are precisely determined.Finally,calculation results of finite element method(FEM)and traditional method are compared in order to verify the effectiveness.Simulation and comparison show the stability of the proposed method in this paper.Researches in this paper establish the foundations for fatigue analysis and optimization for a planetary gear train.展开更多

This paper focuses on the elastic vibrations of a helical planetary ring gear subjected to mesh and planet?pass excitations. Motivated by the structure, excitation and deformation symmetries, this paper proposes dual?frequency superposition and modulation methods to capture the mesh and sideband vibrations. The transi?tion between ring gear tooth and planet is introduced to address the excitations and vibrations. The phasing e ect of ring gear tooth and planet on various deformations is formulated. The inherent connections between the two types of vibrations are identified. The vibrations share identical exciting rules and the wavenumber and modulating signal order both equal the linear combination of tooth and planet counts. The results cover in?plane bending and extensional, out?of?plane bending and torsional deformations. Main findings are verified by numerical calculation and comparisons with the open literature. The analytical expressions can be used to determine whether the sideband is caused by component fault or only by elastic vibration. The methods can be extended to other power?transmission systems because little restriction is imposed during the analysis.展开更多

In view of the problems of the existing mechanisms based on 2R open-chain planetary gear train for seedling transplanting,such as the bad tracking flexibility,low positioning accuracy,and high structure design difficu...In view of the problems of the existing mechanisms based on 2R open-chain planetary gear train for seedling transplanting,such as the bad tracking flexibility,low positioning accuracy,and high structure design difficulties of the mechanisms based on 3R open-chain planetary gear train for seedling manipulation.In this paper,a transplanting mechanism based on the solution domain synthesis of a 3R open-chain-based complete rotation kinematic pair,a gear train with a single cycle integral rotating pair,is designed.The Burmester curve equation is derived from the given transplanting trajectory and four exact poses corresponding to each other on the rotation center.Then,the open-chain road model of the 3R complete rotation kinematic pair is obtained under the constraint governed by the judgment condition of the hinge integral rotating pair.Meanwhile,combined with our developed in-house optimization software,the solution to the optimal parameters for the transplanting mechanism can be optimized according to the target trajectory.Finally,the feasibility of the design method is verified by transplanting testing,where kale seedlings with ages of about 20 d and heights of about 80-120 mm are used.The experimental results show that the actual motion trajectory of the prototype is basically identical to the theoretical trajectory,validating the feasibility of transplanting mechanism design,parts processing,and test-bed construction.Through the statistical analysis,the average success rate of transplanting is 90.625%,and the reliability of designed mechanism is satisfied.This study provides a promising solution for the seedling transplanting of two-planet scaffold pots.展开更多

文摘Fault diagnosis for helicopter's main gearbox based on vibration signals by experiments always requires high costs. To solve this problem,a helicopter's planetary gear system is taken as an example. Firstly,a simulation model is established by McFadden,and analyzed under ideal condition. Then this model is developed and improved as the delay-time model of the vibration signal which determines the phase-change of sidebands when the system is running. The cause and change-rules of planetary gear system's vibration signal are analyzed to establish the fault diagnosis model.At the same time,the vibration signal of fault condition is simulated and analyzed. This simulation method can provide a reference for fault monitoring and diagnosis for planetary gear system.

文摘A computational model of two stage double helical tooth planetary gear set is employed to built the lateraltorsional coupling dynamic governing equations. Base on the dynamic equation, the free vibration properties of the system with unequally spaced planets and stars are analyzed. The vibration modes are classified into three types: star mode, planet mode, and coupling mode. For each of the modes, the relation between inherent frequency and vibration amplitude is investigated in detail by the eigenvalue and mode characteristics.
文摘With their advantages, continuously variable transmissions have gained more popularity in the last decade by their use in mechanical transmission systems. The present paper aims to analysis the efficiency of the transmission based on the mechanical efficiency of the planetary gear train integrated in such transmission. In this analysis, we consider the mechanical efficiency of the transmission has been determined considering how the efficiency of the CVT members changes as a function of the operating conditions. The efficiency of the planetary gear train as a function of the configuration, speeds in his three input/output shafts, and also with respect to the power flow type. Results are compared with those obtained from other methods performance evaluation of the transmission, available in the literature.

文摘Few studies were focused on the load-sharing characteristics of double-row planetary gear(DRPG)systems with bearings.Meanwhile,the supported bearing has an important influence on the transmission characteristics of the entire system.To overcome this problem,a multi-body dynamic(MBD)model of the DRPG system fully considering the influences of bearing parameters is established.Dynamic loads among contacting gear pairs have been obtained to calculate the load-sharing coefficient(LSC)of the system.The LSC of each gear tooth pair has been compared to study the effect of the supported bearing clearance on the load-sharing characteristics.These methods are based on Hertz contact theory.The liner stiffness and damping are used in the model.The results show that the supported bearing clearance has a greatly effect on the LSC of the DRPG system.Choosing appropriate clearance parameters of supported bearing can help suppress the uneven load distribution of the DRPG system.The results can provide some guidance to find new method to study the LSC and increase the service life of planetary gear systems.
文摘Planetary gear train is a critical transmission component in large equipment such as helicopters and wind turbines. Conducting damage perception of planetary gear trains is of great significance for the safe operation of equipment. Existing methods for damage perception of planetary gear trains mainly rely on linear vibration analysis. However, these methods based on linear vibration signal analysis face challenges such as rich vibration sources, complex signal coupling and modulation mechanisms, significant influence of transmission paths, and difficulties in separating damage information. This paper proposes a method for separating instantaneous angular speed (IAS) signals for planetary gear fault diagnosis. Firstly, this method obtains encoder pulse signals through a built-in encoder. Based on this, it calculates the IAS signals using the Hilbert transform, and obtains the time-domain synchronous average signal of the IAS of the planetary gear through time-domain synchronous averaging technology, thus realizing the fault diagnosis of the planetary gear train. Experimental results validate the effectiveness of the calculated IAS signals, demonstrating that the time-domain synchronous averaging technology can highlight impact characteristics, effectively separate and extract fault impacts, greatly reduce the testing cost of experiments, and provide an effective tool for the fault diagnosis of planetary gear trains.

文摘In order to solve the problem of the high-speed mechanized transplanting of rice plug seedlings,the design requirements of transplanting mechanism for rice plug seedlings were analyzed and a kind of rice plug seedling transplanting mechanism of planetary gear train based on the drive with incomplete eccentric circular gear and non-circular gears was designed innovatively.The laboratory kinematics was examined.The working principle of the transplanting mechanism for rice plug seedlings was studied,kinematics analysis of the transplanting mechanism was carried out and its kinematic model was set up.A human-computer interaction optimization method was used to optimize the parameters of the transplanting mechanism.The computer aided analysis and optimization software of the transplanting mechanism based on Visual Basic 6.0 was developed.Through analyzing the influence of design variables on the optimization objectives of the transplanting mechanism,a set of parameters of the transplanting mechanism which meet the requirements of transplanting trajectory and posture for transplanting rice seedlings were obtained by means of human-computer interaction.The structure of the transplanting mechanism was designed according to this set of parameters,and its virtual prototype and physical prototype were set up and manufactured,respectively.The kinematic simulation test and high-speed photography kinematic test of the transplanting mechanism were conducted to obtain its kinematic performances,such as transplanting trajectory and posture.The results of bench test,simulation analysis and theoretical analysis were almost in agreement,which verified the correctness of the theoretical model and design results of the transplanting mechanism,indicating that the optimized transplanting mechanism can satisfy the requirements of transplanting rice seedlings and be applied in the rice plug seedling transplanter.

文摘Planetary gear train is a prominent component of helicopter transmission system and its health is of great significance for the flight safety of the helicopter.During health condition monitoring,the selection of a fault sensitive feature subset is meaningful for fault diagnosis of helicopter planetary gear train.According to actual situation,this paper proposed a multi-criteria fusion feature selection algorithm (MCFFSA) to identify an optimal feature subset from the highdimensional original feature space.In MCFFSA,a fault feature set of multiple domains,including time domain,frequency domain and wavelet domain,is first extracted from the raw vibration dataset.Four targeted criteria are then fused by multi-objective evolutionary algorithm based on decomposition (MOEA/D) to find Proto-efficient subsets,wherein two criteria for measuring diagnostic performance are assessed by sparse Bayesian extreme learning machine (SBELM).Further,Fmeasure is adopted to identify the optimal feature subset,which was employed for subsequent fault diagnosis.The effectiveness of MCFFSA is validated through six fault recognition datasets from a real helicopter transmission platform.The experimental results illustrate the superiority of combination of MOEA/D and SBELM in MCFFSA,and comparative analysis demonstrates that the optimal feature subset provided by MCFFSA can achieve a better diagnosis performance than other algorithms.

文摘A lumped parameter-rigid elastic coupled dynamic model of two-stage planetary gears for a hybrid car is established through the inter-stage coupled method,in which the supports of the ring gear of planet set Ⅱ are represented as an elastic foundation with radial and tangential uniform distributed stiffness,and the ring gear of planet set Ⅱ is modeled as an elastic continuum body. The natural frequencies based on the eigenvalue problem of dynamic model of planetary transmission are solved and the associated vibration modes are discussed. The rules are revealed which are the influences of the ring gear elastic supports stiffness and rim thickness on natural frequencies of planetary transmission. The theoretical analysis indicates that the vibration modes of planetary transmission with thin-walled ring gear on elastic supports are classified into seven types: Ⅰ/Ⅱ stage coupled rotational mode,Ⅰ stage translational mode,Ⅰ stage planet mode,Ⅱ stage translational mode,Ⅱ stage degenerate planet mode,Ⅱ stage distinct planet mode and purely ring gear mode. For each vibration mode, its properties are summarized. The numerical solutions show that the elastic supports stiffness and rim thickness of the ring gear of planet set Ⅱ have different influences on natural frequencies.

文摘To design a clamping-pot-type wide-narrow-row pot seedling transplanting(WPST)mechanism with desired spatial beak-shaped trajectory and working posture,a new design method of planetary gear train transplanting mechanism(PGTM)with non-circular gears based on several key spatial poses(position and posture)was proposed.The PGTM was simplified to a spatial open-loop chain with two-revolute(2R)joints.The geometric constraint equations containing only the structural parameters of the chain were then established on the basis of the three key spatial poses,and the homotopy algorithm was used to obtain all the required parameters of the mechanism.In accordance with the parameters obtained,the relative angular displacement relation between the planet carrier and the transplanting arm was optimized,the trajectory of the mechanism was replayed,and the total transmission ratio was determined.The degree of freedom of the spatial 2R mechanism was reduced by attaching to the unequal gear pair,and the transmission ratio was distributed in accordance with the gear type to realize the design of a non-circular gear pitch curve.Lastly,a clamping-pot-type PGTM for rice WPST driven by the combination of planar non-circular and non-conical gears was designed,and virtual simulation and prototype test were conducted.Results showed that the simulation and prototype test trajectories were consistent with the desired trajectory.Under the operating speeds of 50 r/min and 90 r/min,the success rates of seedling picking were 95.32%and 90.15%,respectively,which verified the feasibility of the theoretical method.This method could provide a reference for the design of a spatial PGTM with nonuniform transmission.

文摘To obtain the optimal seedling taking trajectory,this study proposed the adjustment of the total transmission ratio curve by using human-computer interaction.On the basis of this design method,a planetary non-circular gear mechanism was designed that can realize the twice unequal amplitude transmission ratio to meet the seedling harvesting requirements.The cubic non-uniform B-spline curve was used to fit the twice unequal amplitude transmission ratio curve,and the transmission ratio was freely distributed in two levels.The seedling pick-up mechanism was designed by controlling the seedling taking track and the corresponding attitude directly through the local section of the total transmission ratio,and the gear pitch curve was directly controlled by the transmission ratio.The kinematics model of the seedling pick-up mechanism was also established.Furthermore,the influence of the total transmission ratio on the seedling picking track,the ratio of the wave crest to the amplitude,and the mechanism parameters were discussed.A human-computer interactive optimization software was developed using Matlab,and a set of optimal parameters for the seedling pick-up mechanism was obtained to meet the transplanting requirements.By using the Adams software,the virtual prototype simulation of the seedling pick-up mechanism was completed,and the idle experiment for the track and attitude of the prototype was conducted through high-speed camera technology.The theoretical,simulated,and experimental trajectories were consistent with each other.Results revealed that the success rate of the seedling picking exceeded 90%when the rotation speeds were 40 r/min,50 r/min,and 60 r/min,and the qualified rate of the matrix decreased with the increase in rotating speed.Moreover,the number of damaged plants increased with the increase in rotating speed.The experimental results showed that the seedling pick-up mechanism designed using the proposed method demonstrated a good effect and met the required seedling picking performance.

文摘To investigate the dynamical load sharing behaviors of multi-floating components in the heavy load planetary gear system,a multi-floating planetary gear system that includes a floating central component and a quasi-floating planet flexible supporting pin is employed.Then a 21 degree of freedom lumped parameters dynamical model of this system is presented to study the dynamical load sharing behaviors.Some influencing factors,such as supporting stiffness,positions error of sun or carrier,and external input load are analyzed on the dynamical load sharing of the planetary gear system with multi-floating components.The results demonstrate that the load sharing condition of the system is best when both the sun gear and planet gears are multi-floating at the same time.When the planet gear position errors remain constant,reducing the flexible pin stiffness of planet gear or increasing external input load can effectively improve the load sharing.These conclusions are verified by the relevant experiments.
文摘This paper presents a global optimization method focused on planetary gear vibration reduction by means of tip relief profile modifications.A nonlinear dynamic model is uspd to study the vibration behavior.In order to investig ate the optimal radius and amplitude,Brute Force method optimization is used.One approach in optimization is straightforward and requires considerable computation power:brute force methods try to calculate all possible solutions and decide afterwards which one is the best.Results show the influence of optimal profile on planetary gear vibrations.

文摘At present,there is a lack of miniaturized and highly reliable plug seedling transplanting mechanism in flowerpots planting operation,in order to meet the needs of large displacement and high vertical uprightness for flower transplanting,the paper combined the transmission characteristics of the non-circular gear planetary gear train with the swing flexibility of the cam gear and proposed a double planet carrier planetary gear transplanting mechanism.The linkage of the mechanism performs variable speed rotation relative to the first planet carrier,the linkage serves as the second planet carrier,and the transplanting arm performs variable speed swing relative to the linkage.A mathematical model of a single planetary carrier mechanism was first established using the method of open linkage group solution domain synthesis,then established the kinematic equations of the second planet carrier and the transplanting arm.The two parts are combined to form the mathematical solution model of the proposed mechanism.The initial trajectory was planned according to the trajectory requirements of seedlings planting operation,the non-circular gear pitch curve in the first planet carrier was obtained and the length of the first planet carrier is 120 mm.Then using the key points’angular deviation between the initial trajectory and the improved trajectory to obtain the cam parameters which driving the transplant arm,consequently determined the length of the second planet carrier is 69.25 mm and the length of the transplant arm is 112.4 mm.Finally,the prototype of the mechanism was manufactured,and the test verified the correctness of the design method of the double planet carrier planetary gear flower potting transplanting mechanism.The transplanting success rate of this mechanism reached 94.43%,and the plug seedlings planted in flowerpots had high uprightness.This research can provide a reference for the automatic development of research on flower transplanting machines.

文摘Planetary gear trains are widely applied in various transmission units.Whether strengths of all gears are accurately calculated or not can affect reliability of the entire system significantly.Strength calculation method for planetary gear trains usually follows the method for cylindrical gears,in which the worst meshing positions for both contact stress and bending stress cannot be determined precisely,and calculation results tend to be conservative.To overcome these shortcomings,a kinematics analysis for a planetary gear train is firstly performed,in which the influence of relative speed is investigated.Then the finite element strength analysis of a planetary gear train based on its transient meshing properties is carried out in ANSYS.Time–history curves of contact and bending stresses of sun gear,planetary gears and ring gear are respectively obtained.Also the accurate moment and its corresponding position of the maximum stress are precisely determined.Finally,calculation results of finite element method(FEM)and traditional method are compared in order to verify the effectiveness.Simulation and comparison show the stability of the proposed method in this paper.Researches in this paper establish the foundations for fatigue analysis and optimization for a planetary gear train.

文摘Time?variant excitations in planetary gear trains can cause excessive noise and vibration and even damage the system on a permanent basis. This paper focuses on the elastic vibrations of a helical planetary ring gear subjected to mesh and planet?pass excitations. Motivated by the structure, excitation and deformation symmetries, this paper proposes dual?frequency superposition and modulation methods to capture the mesh and sideband vibrations. The transi?tion between ring gear tooth and planet is introduced to address the excitations and vibrations. The phasing e ect of ring gear tooth and planet on various deformations is formulated. The inherent connections between the two types of vibrations are identified. The vibrations share identical exciting rules and the wavenumber and modulating signal order both equal the linear combination of tooth and planet counts. The results cover in?plane bending and extensional, out?of?plane bending and torsional deformations. Main findings are verified by numerical calculation and comparisons with the open literature. The analytical expressions can be used to determine whether the sideband is caused by component fault or only by elastic vibration. The methods can be extended to other power?transmission systems because little restriction is imposed during the analysis.

文摘The principle of improving the torque amplification factor of E-TVDs with six elements is illustrated in this paper.A velocity diagram is used to study speed and torque relationships.The results reveal that the torque amplification factor is the linear combination of the ratio of the differentials of the four elements and the ratio of planetary gear units,and its maximum value is easily more than 10.The E-TVDs with six elements are classified into three types,and there are six different configurations for each type.The torque amplification factor and the speed of interconnection between two planetary gear units are employed to evaluate the different characteristics of each E-TVD with six elements.The feasible configurations of a differential with four elements are also presented by the analysis of velocity level and planarity.This paper helps to further the understanding of the complex interconnection of the planetary gear units in E-TVDs with six elements and the differences of their characteristics.

文摘Distinguished from parallel-axis gear systems,the revolution of the carrier brings out the pass effect of the planet gear.Compared with the phenomenological descriptions in conventional studies,this paper aims to provide more abundant physical information and the elastodynamics mechanism of the pass effect of the planet gear.To this end,a continuous-discrete model of helical planetary gears is proposed.Considering both the in-plane and out-of-plane vibration,a semi-analytical model is established to simulate the elastic ring gear.The elastic and the lumped parameter submodels are synthesized using the moving elastic coupling boundary.The simulated modal and dynamic characteristics are verified using a planetary gear test rig.Based on the proposed dynamic model,the pass effect of the planet gear,the effects of bolt constraint,and the out-of-plane vibration of helical planetary gears are investigated.It is revealed that the“realistic rotation”strategy adopted in the proposed dynamic model can better reflect the physical essence of the pass effect of the planet gear compared with the“pseudo rotation”strategy utilized in the traditional model.

文摘In view of the problems of the existing mechanisms based on 2R open-chain planetary gear train for seedling transplanting,such as the bad tracking flexibility,low positioning accuracy,and high structure design difficulties of the mechanisms based on 3R open-chain planetary gear train for seedling manipulation.In this paper,a transplanting mechanism based on the solution domain synthesis of a 3R open-chain-based complete rotation kinematic pair,a gear train with a single cycle integral rotating pair,is designed.The Burmester curve equation is derived from the given transplanting trajectory and four exact poses corresponding to each other on the rotation center.Then,the open-chain road model of the 3R complete rotation kinematic pair is obtained under the constraint governed by the judgment condition of the hinge integral rotating pair.Meanwhile,combined with our developed in-house optimization software,the solution to the optimal parameters for the transplanting mechanism can be optimized according to the target trajectory.Finally,the feasibility of the design method is verified by transplanting testing,where kale seedlings with ages of about 20 d and heights of about 80-120 mm are used.The experimental results show that the actual motion trajectory of the prototype is basically identical to the theoretical trajectory,validating the feasibility of transplanting mechanism design,parts processing,and test-bed construction.Through the statistical analysis,the average success rate of transplanting is 90.625%,and the reliability of designed mechanism is satisfied.This study provides a promising solution for the seedling transplanting of two-planet scaffold pots.
